The more I learn about American history, and current events, the more convinced I become that the people who run the government, (especially all aspects of the federal government), the media, and the financial system, are corrupt. These people will do anything to get what they want. They will lie, cheat, steal, cause all manner of harm to people along the way, and even murder. They have already done those things, so this is not speculation on my part. Most Americans have no idea what is going on and believe whatever they are told, probably because they cannot bear to face the truth and would rather remain naïve rather than have to deal with the truth.

Try to have as little to do with “the system” as you can. DO NOT allow your children to join the military. Do not work for the CIA, FBI, or any part of the federal government, if you have an alternative that is even remotely viable. Never, ever, trust anyone who works for the government. Especially the federal government. If you have any money, don’t leave much of it in a bank. Pray that God will protect His people from harm. Come quickly Lord Jesus.

Well there’s been terrible storms with large hail and possible tornadoes in NE. The hail was so bad that it destroyed cars in a dealer’s lot. There’s also severe storm warnings now on weather.com Here are links to stories about the NE storms.

Also, I read a story that British consulates are going against the country’s policies where they are and performing gay marriages. “Same sex marriages can take place in the British consulates of more than 20 countries where the ceremonies are not legal including Russia, Azerbaijan, Serbia and Hungary.” One country that this is happening is Russia. They are also having severe weather/storms. Here are a couple links to these stories.

Our government is so corrupt , I believe there is no hope for it any longer. When Obama was running he said he would radically transform The USA and this is exactly what he has done. I think he is out of control now and unless God removes him from office there will be nothing let of our military and nothing left of our moral traditions as a Judeo Christian God fearing country.

I agree with the John and the posters here that we as Christians have to stay close to Jesus and in prayer for our families and each other for Gods protection, because the Word says it rains on the just and the unjust.

  5. Dan.w says:

I believe the wrecking ball that is obama is still being used as a judgment on America. The remnant [us],need to pray.So many people need the real Jesus, not the bedtime story one being pushed…He is real…He is God’s Son…He is all of God…He is our and anyone else’s only true hope. Please Jesus,if possible, make one last call to the lost…it’s been 2000 yrs. of mercy, one more call…for the lost.

  6. Dan.w says:

I agree with brother John…..enough truth got out there, next subject.Anyhoo,I just want to pass on my love and thanks to all my brothers and sisters in Christ.Thank you Jesus for letting me be part of your family with them.Watch over each of them, and grow us all up in you,in your name Amen.

Dan I just love your line “the bedtime story” Jesus. Thank you for that, it is the perfect description I have been seeking.

I was shocked to see this in the Jerusalem Post newspaper date June 5, 2014 they in Israel have gay pride festival which began on May 16th is called the Temptation party, I guess this homosexual thing is world wide now but I never thought Israel would have this in there country held at Eilat’s Dekel Beach to kick it off they have boy George from the good ole USA , what is this world coming to.

The Holy God of Israel will have to judge this just as He judges America for this blatant sin.
The difference is that Israel has an everlasting covenant so the nation will not be totally destroyed.
America faces termination for turning its back on God and His word.
Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

  9. Joe says:

    Yes HI John,
this just really bothered me in a nation of Jewish Rabbi’s and a people that pride themselves on knowing the old testament, and and all that God has done for them since the 1967 war and blessing there nation, for them to have this festival is shocking and I do not know if you seen the broadcast of Remembering the Holocaust they had in Jerusalem someone there from the Supreme court of the USA I sent a e mailed Yad-Vasham and told them we have our own holocaust here 58 million babies and counting how can you have this judge at your celebration of course I did not get a return e-mail. Where is Benjamin Netanyahu and why would he allow this.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

The orthodox do not kill their babies or promote homosexuality.
It is the Left in Israel that promotes this.

  10. Joe says:

thank you, John, I believe in what you are doing and God bless us all, and everyday when I wake up I hope to here some good news sad to say there is no good news out there folks, in the USA. and it looks like the rest of the world also. it looks to me like that thing in our white house maybe is not going to give them there billions of dollars is they reject homosexuality.

Also being a weather enthusiast, I now understand why June seems to be the tornado month instead of May as it usually is. (And it isn’t because of climate change.) Many of these storms have caught some meteorologists off-guard. The forecast seems to change every day and these storms are by no means done. I am thankful that fatalities have been minimal so far since the tornadoes have hit sparsely populated areas, but as these storms continue, this could change. The harder the hard-left pushes their agenda, the worse it will be. Unfortunately, as so many people fail to heed the warnings of the storms, they also fail to heed God’s warnings. And those of us who do send out warnings, are often mocked. Please be in prayer for those who are in the path of these storms, that they may be given one more chance to accept Jesus, the only payment for the wages of our sins.

Thank you Brother John for your timely posts.

    God Bless and Maranatha

I want to give a shout out to Pastor Michael Henderson of First Baptist Church, Springfield, IL. They have a congregation of less than 90 people. They sponsored, along with Rapture Forum, this weekend, a prophecy seminar in which they paid to bring in Dr. Tommy Ice, Nathan Jones, Donald Perkins and Bill Salus, four of the top prophecy teachers in the country. But now for the sad part. This was held in Springfield, IL, the capital city of the state. Pastor Mike, on Friday, sponsored a pastors breakfast, in which he invited 40 local pastors, at no charge, to come to and have a one on one question time with these men. Guess how many showed up? ZERO…, other than the staff of First Baptist. Abraham came to mind, If I find 100 righteous, will you spare the city? how about 50? 10? Springfield found just 1. The conference suffered through being delayed having to go into an interior hallway due to a tornado warning, speaker flights being diverted to airports over two hours away, and the pastor’s wife having her purse stolen, among other things, but God was there. Pastor Mike’s congregation is small, but they are mighty in the Lord. They have a leader, a true shepherd, who knows where we are on God’s time table. If Springfield is spared from future disasters, they should thank the one righteous man and his flock found in that city.

June used to be ‘wedding month’…now the sodomites hijacked it,and it has become homosexual month.Weddings don’t seem to mean much anymore, because anybody can ‘marry anything’.Leviticus 18;22-23 speak for today.Every day that passes makes Bible believers more and more criminal in the eyes of the reprobate populace. We don’t have a lot of time friends.Like brother John and others have said, now is the time to witness and reach the lost.Jesus will never be elected president, but He is my King.I refuse to follow illegal laws, and the black robed sons of devils are not my God.One day, judges will be judged. It is too bad we can’t vote them out.We have lost all of the checks and balances that were Biblically derived for our country.,and so,without God,His Christ and His morals..we are in freefall mode.I have to end this on a good note………….Jesus still saves. If you are not yet sure you are going to heaven someday, make your decision now.Only Jesus paid your debt of all your sin,by Himself. He wanted too,..for you.Ask Him,Dear Jesus,I know I’m not worthy, but would you please save me from the hell I deserve.I trust you fully to do it…In your name I ask,Amen.

Gary, I live in the south (NC). I am told by friends who have traveled the USA more than I have, that when you leave the southeastern portion of the USA, it is a different world. Fewer churches, and of course, most of the churches that do exist do not believe the Bible. And even here where I live “the buckle of the Bible Belt”, there is a great deal more apostasy than there was when I was growing up in the 1950’s and 60’s.

I am a little surprised that not even one pastor accepted the invitation to the breakfast, but I really should not be. Apostasy is epidemic in this country. That, and the prophesies in the Bible, are the reasons I do not believe there will be any widespread “revival” in America. I believe this country is finished. It is dying of the cancers it has (apostasy, immorality, perversion, ignorance, rebellion, unbelief, etc, etc,). What to do? We must each follow God. Abstain from the very appearance of evil. Get in a good church, if you can. Pray for the salvation and safety of your friends. Give the Gospel to those who are interested. I do not believe in praying that God will turn the country around because I don’t believe God will.

  15. Irene C says:

Gary B – the last sentence you wrote, about not praying that God will turn the country around; I’ve been saying this for quite some time. I still pray for our leaders (although I will admit that it is becoming more and more difficult to do so in my natural state). However, Jeremiah 7:16 always comes to mind. ” Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.” Yes we “could” have a Ninevah moment, but there comes a time when God says “Enough”.

    Gary,
I have the priviledge to work as an editor for several of God’s prophecy warriors. I had told one of their board members from TX how non caring towards the things of God the people in the north are as a whole. (I Live in MI) When I told him Sat the attendance of the pastors and the conference as a whole, he was amazed. The northern part, as well as the western part of this country, is GONE. And the South is not far behind it. Both the families of my wife and I are from the South. And it is rapidly closing the gap with the north. The apostacy is here. Jesus is standing outside the door of the church and knocking. He is not in the church. Praise God for the Johnny Macs and the bloggers on here. This is my church as well. Maranatha, Maranatha, Maranatha.

As far as revival, I’m not even sure God’s direct judgment would spark one in this country now. It is truly reprobate. Everyone quotes 11 Chron 7:14, but fails to mention Jer 7:16, 28, as well as others. I know why the do, they don’t want to give up hope, but it’s time to face the truth. We have passed the point of no return.

  17. sdavis117 says:

Gary, I can verify that the NE is in a sad, godless state. I was born and lived most of my life in upstate NY. The oppression is almost palpable. Even dedicated, born again Christians are terribly carnal there; falling prey to divorce, sexual immorality (some supporting homosexuality) and other sin. It’s heartbreaking! Holiness is a thing of the past in many ways there. Obviously, as people migrate to the south and the music/media gets more and more liberal, the people there are getting corrupted, especially the younger generation. My spirit senses it’s too late too and Jesus’ coming is very soon!! Maranatha!!

  18. Mary E. says:

    Irene,
Your comment was very well put. The point about heeding the warnings goes right to the heart of the matter. I expected the storm season to intensify this year, as had others. We are having one system after another move in and they seem to move much slower than normal, resulting in some areas getting hit for several days. On one particular day, I noticed that there were tornado warnings in 4 state capitals. And the meteorologists?…Well, all the science in the world can’t keep up with the Most Holy God.

    Gary,
Thank you for sharing about the prophecy seminar. I think it was one of the saddest comments I have read on this blog. I don’t cry very easily anymore, but your pastor’s experience moved me to tears because it shows a graphic picture of the state of the church in this country. I think of the hard work the pastor and his church did to prepare for the seminar and the obvious spiritual attacks they had to endure. And the saddest of all, are the 40 pastors, who chose not to attend, who chose not take part in looking at prophetic events that are leading up to the return of Jesus. What a slap in the face of the One who they say they serve.

  19. Barbara in VA says:

Gary, your story about the prophecy seminar also put me in tears. It astonished me I guess because of my passion for prophecy and I would not want to miss a seminar if one ever showed up in my city. But that is not the only reason for my astonishment. It was the total lack of interest by the pastors! Mary E. expressed it so well that I just Amen what she wrote. This is a very sad commentary on the attitude of “the church”.

Irene #17: You have also expressed my thoughts on praying! We definitely need to be much in prayer for God’s mercy on His children during coming judgments on this country and especially praising God and thanking Him for sending His only begotten Son, showing His love for us! May He bless those who love and honor Him and who are repentant!

    Psalm 89:18 (KJV)
18 For the Lord is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

    Romans 15:13 (KJV)
13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

    Maranatha!
