I lived through the Loma Prieta Quake. I’m a San Francisco native and was living about 30 miles in the east bay at the time of the quake. It was very frightening and I felt a sense of judgement, it was errie. I was a young believer then in my early 20′s and God did protect our home we suffered no damage. Other parts of our town did not fare so well. It showed me how God’s protective hand is on his children. Them just a few years later we had the Oakland fires. God has been warning for decades and not many are heeding the warning. The churches are weak , amazing how many Chrstians do not support Israel and also will be voting for Obama!!! There is not much dicipling as no one wants to offend any one and if you speak out your viewed as “negative”. I have been warning that a finacial disaster is looming if the church does not repent but no one cares and no one is listening. Its really dishearting at times.

Sometimes I wish He was clearer about this, like He was when the earth swallowed up the sons of Korah and everyone was told first that it was going to happen and why, but there are certainly times when He wants us to search out answers… There are also times when natural disasters have closely followed the US standing against Israel, including standing for dividing up Israel (Bill Koenig’s book Eye to Eye)

Danielle, that might be a moving scene but probably not Biblical. God, in His mercy, gave people 120 years to repent and join Noah. NO ONE did. The flood was cataclysmic and not just a rainstorm that did not stop. There were earthquakes and the water canopy that covered the whole earth came down, as well.
God showed mercy before judgment. It will be the same when the wrath of God is released in the Tribulation.

Brother John ~ listening to your radio show now as your friend is speaking about Noah & how he tried to warn the people, but they would not listen. Recently finished “The Story of Noah” – a live performance done in Hardee Cnty Fl with 150 Cast members. (10 nights) Over 31 churches participate in this ministry. For the past 20 yrs, it has always been “The Story of Jesus” …but THIS year our pastor felt such a burden to do “Noah.” The most moving scene was when the door of the Ark was closing & it started to rain. People were crying and banging on the door of the Ark for Noah to let them in, but it was too late! I had to look away and force myself to think about my next scene. No matter how many nights I saw that same thing, it still gave me chills. PLEASE AMERICA … WAKE UP BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE …COME TO JESUS CHRIST …REPENT & BE SAVED
