Commentary
I have just posted on my blog about the link about Gay Pride Month promoted by the president and the massive fires in Colorado, along with the massive flooding in Florida. I looked and looked for a link for what America was doing to Israel. I did not see any link at all but only the link to homosexuality.
I now see the link to what America was doing to Israel. The issue is with the United States supporting and backing Muhammad Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood candidate, as the president of Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood’s goal is to create an Islamic caliphate with Jerusalem as its capital. They want to kill the Jews and destroy Israel while Obama and Clinton are supporting this terrorist group. The Muslim Brotherhood is exactly like Hamas! The combination of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and advancing the homosexual agenda are occurring at the exact time massive fires erupted all over the West but especially in Colorado.
It appears that America now is right in God’s face with its sin and rebellion. This rebellion has God’s attention, and He is in the process of destroying the nation as I am writing this article. Once again, this huge battle is taking place over the fate of America and the VAST majority of the church is clueless. They lost the fear of God, led by the pastors and church leaders.

Obama congratulates Morsi on winning Egyptian presidency 06/24/12 There is not one word about Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood and the formation of a caliphate with Jerusalem as its capital!

Colorado wildfire expands viciously, Obama plans visit 06/27/12

Jerusalem to become Egypt’s capital under Mursi’s rule, says Muslim cleric 06/07/12 (Video) Everyone needs to watch this video and you will get an idea why America is in trouble with God! This is what Obama and Clinton are praising and supporting as a victory for democracy! They know full well what Morsi stands for. No wonder America is burning with fires throughout the West!
This is a political rally for Morsi who is sitting right behind the speaker cleric Safwat Hagazy. I see this as a declaration of war against Israel as they are openly calling for killing the Jews and taking Jerusalem! With rallies like this, the war cannot be far off. It reminded me of the huge rallies that Nazis held.

I see the statement by Hegazy that “Yes, we will either pray in Jerusalem or we will be martyred there,” as being prophetic because they will all die there. Egypt does not survive the war and all that survive must flee Egypt into the world. Egypt is totally destroyed.

The fire doubled in size overnight to more than 24 square miles fire information officer Rob Dyerberg said Wednesday.”
The West’s embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood 06/22/12 The Egyptian Army was trying to prevent the Muslim Brotherhood from taking over and the US State Department condemned them! The US was 100 percent behind the Muslim Brotherhood taking over Egypt. Of course this will mean war with Israel.

US Pressuring Generals to Hand Power to Brotherhood 06/23/21 Obama is the man in place to see that the Muslim caliphate is in place only to be destroyed by the God of Israel. He has no idea of this, but he is being used that the prophetic word of God will be fulfilled. He is setting up Israel to be destroyed by the forming Islamic caliphate while America is burning. God is going to overrule these evil plans of the Hard Left and Muslims against Israel.

This has been a sad two days for me though as I’ve watched the news about the fire in Colorado Springs. I live in VA; but if I had a second home, it would have been in this area. Over the past 9 years, I have made several trips to a guest ranch nearby and while there met many wonderful people from the Colorado Springs area, one a Christian lady whose son is one of the evacuees from the fire. Some of my tears have been for the Flying W Ranch–a wonderful Christian based, family oriented, Western style entertainment center. Three of the older Western singers left the Flying W to become pastors of “cowboy churches” in the area. In fact one of the 3 is pastor of a church on the Flying W property. I agree with John’s assessment of this fire and why the judgment was in this particular area; but my heart is breaking anyway.
I have known for several years that the Air Force Academy was becoming more hostile toward Christianity. Also, even though the organizations that I am most aware of are Christian and I met quite a few people involved in Christian ministries in the area, I am also aware that there are quite a few new age type organizations in and around Colorado Springs. This event is showing me definitely that when God brings judgment on an area there may indeed be many Christians in that area and in the path of destruction. As John keeps reminding us, we (individually) need to draw as close to God as we possibly can; and even though people like Rosalie mentioned look at us as though we are in need of a stright-jacket, we must keep letting people know the why of what is happening.

I agree, our nation is now under judgement – My family thinks I’m crazy when I try to tell them – it’s All About Israel, and our sins as a nation against a Holy God. It is bittersweet, for I know all this must happen before the Bride is taken out.

John, where do you get this information from? Isaiah 19:25 says that the Lord will bless the Egyptian people in the future. First, though, the earlier part of the chapter says they must go through some very dark times.

Egypt is destroyed just before the Day of the LORD, and then the LORD brings them back during His reign.Joe 3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
Joe 3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
Joe 3:20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

Yes, I thought when Obama started his “Arab Spring” that it was his assault on both Israel and any Christians in countries such as Egypt and Libya. Obama has literally set the Middle East on fire, hoping to destroy Israel. However, he is not intelligent enough to see that God will protect Israel; in the meantime, he gets to travel to Colorado and see his own country burning before his own eyes. He probably doesn’t care that Colorado is burning anyway.
Also, Bro. McT, isn’t the Air Force Academy in a town that is about to be swallowed up by the fire? Think there might be a link there?-

I am in Colorado Springs area now in a town called Monument right by the fire.Some of the Academy is burning and I can see the fire as the fire has split and is moving down a hill across from the freeway on the west side of I-25.My son lives East of the freeway and seems okay for now.Obama plans to come here on Friday so should be interesting.Now we have the health care plan with all kinds of added taxes.What next?Why is so much evil affecting good people?Our Savior is our only hope!!

I could use some Godly advice here. Here in Michigan, we have a bug(emrald ash borer) that destroys Ash trees. The bark falls off the tree as it dies, making infested woodlands look like apocalyptic wastelands. I believe this is just one of the many judgments God allows to make us cry out to Him and turn back to Him in repentance. I’m familiar with 2 Chronicles 7:14.
I read some of these posts, and see that the homes of righteous people are destroyed along with the wicked. This can be a hard enough concept for an adult believer to comprehend-but try explaining it to a 7-year-old. My son asks me, “Dad why is God allowing the Emeral Ash Borer to kill our trees, too?” My son knows our heart for the Lord. He knows we acknowledge Him every single day as our Lord and Savior and look to Him for all provision. We pray to God every night as a family when we put the kids to bed-always thanking God for the many blessings He has provided us.
Did the plagues in Eygpt affect only Pharoah and the Eygptians? Or did they affect the Israelites, too? Now, I understand the Passover and that if the Israelites had not put blood on their door posts and mantle, their first born would have died, too. Exodus 9:26 says, “Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel [were] was there no hail.” So how do you explain to a 7-year-old when the plagues affect us also? How do you explain it to an adult for that matter? Did I as a father to my children fail to “put blood on our door posts and mantle” in some way?
When I was in school, I used to hate collective punishment. One or two kids would be talking after the bell rang and the whole class would get to write 500x “I will not talk after the bell”(You know what I’m talking about). Why not just punish the trouble-makers? In the same regard, why do the wildfires burn the homes of the righteous, too? Or the tornado? Or the flood? Or the Emrald Ash Borer? I know there are none that are righteous-no not one-so is that what I tell my son? That these are the consequences of a sinful people and a sinful nation? And that God allow this on us, too; so that we will seek Him more earnestly than we are already? I don’t want to seem like I’m complaining here, because I’m not. I don’t deserve the things I have or the justified position I have in the Lord’s eyes through Christ’s imputed righteousness. I deserve God’s judgment for how I’ve lived, but I’m repenting and trying not just to be a “milk-toast” Christian-trying to study and learn deep things of God. So is that what I tell my son? That this is a rightfully deserved judgment and that we just need to seek the Lord in the midst of it? I’d just like some Godly advice from fellow believers who may have the same questions or have suffered loss(I know some of you have lost loved ones) and see what the Lord has impressed on your hearts when these things happen. Very good questions Keith O, I am wondering the same. Could it be that troubles are coming on the righteous and evil at the same time so that Christians can stand out as a witness to the unsaved? When they see the Christian seeking the Lord in difficult times, the unsaved have one last chance to turn to the Lord for salvation. I think the Lord is using these difficulties to call people to repentance before it is forever too late. Thanks

NorthernSparrow, You have a good point. When the pagan sees the child of God repenting it will be an example. I can’t help but ponder Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Couple this verse and concept with 2 Samuel 6 where the Israelites were moving the ark on a cart and Uzzah was killed by God for not doing it as God had instructed. I understand that Uzzah was a Levite, but that only priests could touch the ark and that it was to be carried by the Levites with staves-not on a cart.
While David and the rest may have had good intentions, Uzzah paid the ultimate price for disobedience of God’s word. He perished for lack of knowledge or willful rejection of that knowledge. The people tried to do it their own way-the prideful Babylonian way which can be traced right back to Nimrod and the tower of Babel.
The more I ponder my original post, the more I see that I DESERVE any judgment that the Lord may send to get MY attention in order that I can correct MY behavior before Him. I accept the personal responsibility in this. Now is the time for the sack cloth and ashes that someone posted about a few days ago.
Even Daniel admitted to sinning by saying “we” in the following:
Dan 9:5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
Dan 9:6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
If Daniel understood and recognized his personal part in the situation he found himself, then I definately can see mine. -
I believe that judgement begins in the house of the Lord can refer to us having known and heard the Scriptures,they are brought to our rememberance that we may repent,each one of us,personally before a Holy God,restoring our position before God,as all sin,whether in thought word or deed,causes a rift or separation.We were,in part,left here for such a time as this,snatching burning embers from the flame,[lost humanity].Never forget that we were once them,so we can show compassion to them,all the while not comprimising truth,but getting it into their hands so they can make a very informed choice of where they can spend eternity.Lets show them the wide chasm between the worlds religious system,and the true way a person is acceptable before God,by faith alone in Christ’s finished works on the Cross. John, I wonder if the US might also be pushing Israel into the evacuations of settlers like this one in the news today.
Evacuations of 30k Coloradoans from their homes brings to memory the pre-Katrina evacuations timed alongside the Gush Katef settlement evacuations in Israel.
