Israel’s Attack: “Has opened the gates of hell”

Commentary
Israel just killed the leader of Hamas’ military wing. Israel also attacked other sites in Gaza. Hamas has been firing rockets non-stop into Israel. Israel warned and now has taken action.
The attacks by Hamas were not isolated. Just last week Assad threatened a world conflict and then a few days later his tanks crossed into the demilitarized zone with Israel. Then a few days later, his mortars fired into Israel promoting an artillery response from Israel. Israel warned Assad that any attacks on Israel would result in Israel counter attacking. With all of this was the continued rocket attacks by Hamas. I see all this as a coordinated attack by Iran. Iran is testing Israel and also to see how the world reacts.
There are a couple of factors in play. Iran may start a war with Israel to help save Assad and Syria. Iran might be attempting to coordinate Hamas and Syria against Israel. The great danger is that something is going to trigger the all-out war between Israel and the Arabs. This incident could escalate and bring Egypt into the battle. It could be the rallying cry of the Islamic caliphate. This could be the start of WW3, only time will tell. For sure, some event is going to trigger this war. Once again, this tension makes the all-out war, which is the trigger to Armageddon, feel so close.
Report: Israel forced to change Iran strike tactics 11/11/12 I always felt that the longer Israel delayed attacking Iran, the greater the chance for the use of nuclear weapons. Israel’s only option could be use of nuclear weapons against Iran. Once again the sense of war with Iran is getting close. Israel will attack alone if need be and now with Obama elected, Israel may have no choice. How long can this go on?

Bitter cold inside a disaster shelter 11/10/12 This is a great example of why you have to take care of yourself and not look to the federal government. We need to band together and not look to government.
It is very apparent that there is little time left for America as we know it. Our way of life is very close to ending and the nation as we know it. I have no idea when the Lord Jesus is coming for His church, but I do know that America’s days are now numbered. The destructive force of sin has destroyed the nation. Obama and politics just reflect what is America. What is most important now to a huge percentage of the population is abortion, homosexuality and free handouts, while the church sleeps on. I just see great violence and bloodshed coming next year.
All we can do is stay glued looking unto Jesus. America could vanish tomorrow, but the Lord Jesus remains. Our heart must be anchored in heaven or it will soon be torn apart here. America might not have much time left, but Israel is going to survive what is coming. All the world is going to see the authority of the Bible and the reality of the God of Israel. It will be crystal clear for all to see.

Julia, sometimes people need a helping hand.
Does your Church do what the early church did to help those in need that were in their midst according to Acts 2:44-45?

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common:
45 and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Churches today do not do that. They may have a benevolance fund and they may give you something but many times it isn’t enough to meet the need of the Church member that asked for help.
I have been on welfare (food stamps) in the past. I tried real hard to make it on my own but when I couldn’t I turned to the government for help because the church was incapable of helping me like I needed. I appreciated the help I got.
When I came off of welfare at first I was offended that I had to use my own money to buy food. It didn’t last long though. This is the experience of those on welfare.
It is easy in the flesh to want someone to take care of you. Most on welfare fall into that category. Those who get unemployment won’t go out and look for work until their benefits are coming near to an end. This is what welfare does. The devil drives people to be lazy and expect someone else to take care of them.
But, nevertheless, sometimes it is necessary to have help and it is nice for it to be there even if it does come from the government. But it is important that the person receiving welfare be required to take responsibility for their lives and get off of welfare as quickly as possible.
It is not an easy problem to deal with.
Examine your own life as a believer and see if you are helping those in need as God would have you do.

I understand where your coming from.Please accept my apology.It’s the people who use the system when their fully able to work,and you really did have a valid need!You also understand what I’m talking about when you said people need to take responsibility and get off welfare as soon as possible.
Refering to your question if my church supplies to those in need I know my answer will be misunderstood,but the call on my life prompts me to give you the best answer I find in scripture and that is just as the Holy Spirit was given in the book of acts that your refering to It Is Written that through the spirit God started his church which is a spiritual church–A body of believers saved through his spirit.Acts 2V 46 & 47 he added to the church daily such as should be saved.When Christ died it’s written the temple curtain was torn and this was telling all people that the old way(Old Covenant and way of serving God was abolished)and he was then building the true church through his spirit,a body of believers that worship the Father in spirit and in truth.John 4V 23 & 24.Hebrews 8 V 1 & 2 shows that Christ became our High Priest of the true tabernacle he pitched and not man(or a man made building)Hebrews.Verses 8-13 shows he found fault with the old house(Temple) and he was in turn saying when he spoke to his desciples when they were admiring the temple of their time,he said not one stone will be left upon the other for in 3 days his body would be a Spiritual Church(John2 V 17-21).Hebrews 9 V 8 – 17 Tells of the ultimate outpouring of our saviours blood to cleanse sin from man when we accept christ.I tithe and sow seed always to show I reverence God who was kind enough to give me all the blessings he has given.To God Be The Glory!I hope this helps.God Bless You.

That is on my list of favorite names.I can’t help myself but respond….we have a neighborhood family who are all healthy, non-disabled and young and none of them work. They are totally working the system and live off food stamps and welfare….they do not want to work. Yet they have money to have 3 flat screen tv.s, several cell phones ( courtesy of Obama) and can afford big tattoos and have several cars.
This is not right…and there are many, many more of families just like this. They are the sluggards.
And they will be suffering when the austerity comes to our country…and it will be coming soon.

About Economic Armageddon, many of the left/librals I have engaged on conversation with seems to absolutly believe that, under Obama, the economy is well on its way to recovery and that the middle east is not our concern. It brings to mind 1 Thessalonians 5:3, “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.”

Those 2 words “It’s war” made my stomach feel like it flipped all the way over. How long has war in the ME been talked about? And how many times have I asked “how long will Israel allow deadly rockets to be fired on thier people before they do something?”
John, I’m so glad that prayer time is tomorrow (Thursday) night. Having someone to pray with is such a blessing and should bring peace of mind and spirit in these troubling times.

Egypt could easily become involved in this critical situation, John. You are right.
I was sitting at a meeting tonight for over an hour, with a “news” channel on in the background, and not one word of what is going on in the Middle East. Yet this is on my mind practically all the time. I have such a feeling in my heart,….it is hard to express. I don’t even think I have to. Many of us who love Jesus & wish to fall at His feet are feeling the same way.

The reason the American Church is cold is that for years they have been told that before trouble came to America, the Church would be raptured and they would not have to endure anything. They should probaly read Fox’s Book of Martyr’s. Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that edureth to the end shall be saved. This is the only election I have seen that when you heard something you had to assume you we’re being lied to. F.D. R. , I believe started giving people Welfare to get them back on their feet. “Welfare”, became associated with the one’s that are too lazy to work so it started being called “entitlements”. Now the Obama Administration of Lies has started calling Government Retirement, and other earned programs “entitlements” to confuse the American People so they can reduce future benefits for working Americans. Pray that our leaders and people will repent, Because nobody wants the change Obama is really bringing to America.

The Apostle Paul three times received this scourging. The 39 stripes were accomplished by a whip of 13 strands and administered three times.
I have been wondering for awhile now, if the beginning of the Psalm 83 war would take place this Fall based on the above.

Somethings seems kind of fishy with what is going on in the Middle East Brother John. With Hamas ramping up their rocket attacks in the South. With the Syrian militant rebels taking the villages in the Golan Heights border area. And with Iran holding a massive military drill. Everything just seems to coincidental and coordinated to be just happen stance. All these events couldn’t have just happened. To me they seemed to have been planned out by the militant Arabs who want to see Israel wiped out.

I am not sure if JK was knocking those of us who believe that the pre -trib rapture is the truth.I think that for the very reason that the rapture is pre-trib according to the scriptures means we need to walk very close to the Lord because God will only take those of us who are ready and are serving Jesus with all our hearts.Many who think they are saved but are not doing Gods will may be in for a terrible shock if they miss the rapture and have to face the anti-christ.Lets live all out for Jesus and be out witnessing for Him and serve Him with all our hearts.
We must pray that we the church will wake up.
