Did anyone see Bernie Goldberg on Bill O’Reilly make the point that those on the right who bring up taking God out of schools or a million abortions a year as causes for the shooting are nuts. These are people on the right. Those with a spiritual bone in their body have got to be a very small remnant. A same sex marriage proposal in the White House, so what. Has America crossed the line? Menasseh? Days from Christmas it is tough to see any reference to the reason for the season. Laast week Bill O’REilly said Christianity is not a religion. For those expecting a great 2013, good luck. You shpuld see cards I’ve gotten.

  2. how sad it is for America…people are calling Evil Good America has open her self for God,s judgement,

We serve a merciful God, don’t we? Why he hasn’t annihilated us all by now is amazing to me. This is so wrong, wrong, wrong. I shudder to think what is in store for the “once-great” United States of America. “These are the words of the Amen, (Jesus), the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth.’ ” Revelation 3:14-17. May God have mercy on us.

I will make the first comment:

There are those who laugh and wink
at those of us who dare to think
that God has anything to say
about the happenings of our day.

Does it seem that we are weak
with no one, no help to seek?
Snicker now, the time will come,
very soon, when it is you
    who are the helplesss ones.

God is the Judge, the rules are His,
    time and mercy He always gives;
if repentance does not come, know this,
the snicker will be short lived!

What have I said? That one group of people, and with special emphasis on those within our governmental offices, offend me? No. I am appauld but I am most assuredly helpless to do any thing about it. It really does not matter than I, or any who are like minded with me, cares. The problem is that God says in His Word that His is repulsed by wicked ways, and clearly describes the wicked ways.

Now, my summation is this: Anyone who is gutsy enough to take on God, is gutsier than they ought to be.
Oh yeh! Things are going to change! Let us see how we like the change.

Other than thoughts conveyed on some medium of communication, I have nothing to do with what shall be. I will sit and watch, and see.

  5. Ryan Thomas says:

Definitely an ordinance of the Amorites. And the will of their father(satan)they will do.How very sad indeed.

  6. Michael says:

Yes, that is an abomination. No, God has NOT forsaken America and left us to Satan and judgement. He will NEVER leave us nor forsake us and where sin abounds, His grace abounds all the more. We, the body of Christ, ALWAYS have hope, ALWAYS have love, and have not been given a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. Which means we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us. Stand in Christ for America and do not fear what sinful man chooses to do.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

You are mixing two different aspects of God dealing with us.
One is with us as individuals which He will never leave us.
The other is with the nation which He most certainly can turn over to satan for judgment.

  7. Janine says:

Goodness me! His instructions couldn’t be clearer!
Leviticus 18:22-23 “;You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination. Also you shall not have intercourse with any animal to be defiled with it, nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it; it is a perversion.”
    God will not be mocked!
As in the days of Noah…. His return must be near!

  8. dan wessel says:

This story is such a heartache…I don’t think there is anyone here who reads these posts who isn;t sickened in their stomach by this. How can,or should I say..why should God protect America and bless her when we’ve disspised Him and all He embodies? We see the carnage, moral and physical because we live in a sin sick world.Jesus, please use us..to reach a lost and dying world.Give us the words, the opportunity to let you shine through us,so we may observe you at your great work…Lord..send me…I’ll go.

  9. How disgusting! May God have mercy on His children!

  10. Ryan Thomas says:

Jimnjoy,God has not annihilated us yet, because when satan accuses us before God,we stand not guilty by the blood of Jesus. However, those that are not in Christ are guilty, and he has a legal right to demand judgement on them.

  11. It would appear that what we have as our President is a very calculating and evil man, or one who is very confused about who God is. On Sunday night prime time he quotes Jesus as saying “let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belong the kingdom of heaven. The night before, one homosexual proposed to another in the White House with the President’s blessing. Amazing. Here is a man that, at least, pretended to shed a tear over the children and adults killed in Connecticut, yet is unashamedly the most pro-abortion congressman, senator, and President to ever populate any of those offices. He makes a show of wanting to defend the weak, but thinks nothing about ending the lives of the weakest among us. As bad as the killings of 27 people are; how does it compare to 4,000 babies whose lives are terminated daily simply because they interfere with someone’s “right to consume and enjoy?” Brave new world, or ugliest manifestation of survival of the fittest?

  12. JH says:

“You are mixing two different aspects of God dealing with us. One is with us as individuals which He will never leave us. The other is with the nation which He most certainly can turn over to satan for judgment.”

    John,
What happens to the believers when God judges
a nation? Feel free to re-word this question.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

If a believer walks with the Lord and seeks Him, I believe that God will
warn that person of the impeding judgment.
If the person walks in the fear of the Lord and understands God’s holiness,
      He will be protected.
This is what happened when the God sent the Babylonians in judgment against Israel

      Ezekiel 9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;
Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Notice it was those that cried and sighed over the sin as they walked in the fear of God and knew it offended Him and judgment was coming.
Those in America that cry and sigh can expect the same.
Those that do not walk in the fear of the Lord but are comfortable with the sin will not hear from the Lord.

I hope that his helps you.

      • John: So many people over the past few months have never directly asked this question that you are answering here, but they have alluded to it many times.

Your answer here is so very comforting to those who are confused about believers being in the path of God’s judgment. Is there any way you could put this answer in a very prominent place so that everyone might see it and understand how God protects believers?

        Maranatha!

This country seems bent on experimenting with how far they can push it. Tolerance and elevation of aberrant sexual practices marks the approaching collapse of our civilization which is already well on its way.
Now I speak as a Christian. However, for countless years the undeniable importance of marriage in society as a building block for procreation, raising children, and providing a fundamental sexual normality was sacrosanct. This has all changed quickly. What floors me is that government has NO RIGHT to redefine marriage. NONE. Yet we are being force-fed the “tolerance agenda” and as Ann Marie said, people are calling evil good.

How long before National Socialist will start rounding up Christians and Jews for the Death Camps?

    • Janine says:

Of course. Don’t you think the rapture would happen before that Charles?

      • Keith O. says:

I’m not holding my breath, personally. People are being slaughtered in Nigeria and many other places for their faith. I don’t we’re any more special than they are just because we’re Westerner’s. God always has purged the rebels. I don’t think that this will be any different. Ezekiel 9 comes to mind. It’s gonna start in the sanctuary and it isn’t going to be pretty.
P.S. I take it you’re from Australia? I assume there are definite signs there also that we’re getting close to the end? May God protect us all. Seek Him diligently in the time we have left-finish the race strong!

        • Janine says:

Yes, I’m an Aussie! Live on the Gold Coast – Queensland. Seems we follow in Americas shoes.

        • Janine says:

That the rapture happens before the tribulation (my personal favorite though not necessarily my confident expectation), sounds great and I’ve read a lot on all theories. I just can’t seem to get my head around planes falling out of the sky because the pilots have dissappered with people not even getting a chance to turn to Jesus. Would God allow so much chaos? Sometimes I think of the Noahs ark story and how God protected Noah on earth and washed the wicked away. God can supernaturally protect His bride, or not, and show off in her in tribulation. He has a plan, our times are in His hands. I just want to keep on believing & trusting no matter what. Perhaps I need to seek and study some more and read Johns blessed hope again. I like your idea on the pan-trib theory…everything will pan out as it should! lol
Keep seeking with the word as your final authority and be like a Berean! The Truth truly sets us free! God Bless.

  16. dan wessel says:

As brother John has said in the past,it will be hard to hide in the tall grass…it will also be easy to tell real Christian from fake..we are seeing the process played out right before our eyes.I believe we are in for a bumpy ‘ride’.Neo-christianity is having its heyday, and us..well we will be declared enemies,of course.Jesus declared, that if they hated us,its because they hated Him first. We are on the short list.Trust Christ.

@ Ryan Thomas: Thank-you for your comment. I understand that I am saved by the blood of Jesus and that Satan, the accuser, has no credibility and no power over me. What I was referring to was the fate of our country. We passed Roe vs Wade and have been instrumental in the dividing of Israel, among other atrocities. I am amazed that God has allowed us to continue as a country for this long. He is definitely merciful to us. God bless you.

  20. Hey, John:

You said that America might not make it past next summer. I was wondering if you based this on the likelihood that Israel will attack Iran and that the chemical weapons in Syria could either be used against Israel or shipped to southern Lebanon.

I haven’t heard or read much in the news concerning Iran lately, but I have read on the Drudge Report that we will be sending troops to the Turkish/Syrian border. Personally, I don’t think that the average American, let alone Christian, has any idea what we will soon be facing next year. The only topic I hear being discussed is the fiscal cliff. Everybody knows that Boehner’s going to cave, it’s a given. Meanwhile Syria is arming their bombs with sarin gas, and heaven knows what else. Iran is getting closer to the “red line.” The camel’s back is almost broken and waiting for that last straw.

  21. Keith O. says:

I just did a word study via the blueletterbible.org on the word “abomination”. Very interesting indeed. The last place the word is used is in Rev. 21.
That entire chapter gives us a nice break from all the darkness that is engulfing the world right now. It is a look at the finish line and the future of those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life-very reassuring.

  22. Keith O. says:

John, I can remember vividly you warning over a year ago about the repeal of DADT. I can recall bringing this to the attention of the church I was attending at a Wednesday night Bible study. The pastor was an ex-Marine sniper. Everyone, including the pastor just blew it off at the time. I wonder what he thinks now, as he is very proud to be a Marine. No stand was taken. Now to think someone of the reprobate mentality of that Marine captain at the White House will more than likely be coming to persecute(and who knows to do what else) the church that pastor leads. I think we all know what is coming-soon.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

The pastor did not live in the fear of God and, therefore, he was unable to see the danger.

    • Keith O. says:

Rom 10:1 ¶ Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Rom 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Rom 7:7 ¶ What shall we say then? [Is] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Rom 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin [was] dead.
Rom 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
Rom 7:10 And the commandment, which [was ordained] to life, I found [to be] unto death.
Rom 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew [me].
Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Rom 7:13 ¶ Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

What we are seeing is the teaching of the modern church that says the law has been done away with. By their logic, what we are now encountering is “grace”.

Pro 9:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

Hsa 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

    • Keith O. says:

Hsa 8:12 I have written to him the great things of my law, [but] they were counted as a strange thing.

  23. JH says:

    Ecclesiastes 8: 11-13

11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:

13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

  24. Ryan Thomas says:

    Jimnjoy,Very good.God bless you too!

  25. Janine says:

‘Witnessing the deterioration of moral society and the often disturbing events unfolding throughout the world, do not be gripped with fear, or wonder if God has forgotten you. God hasn’t forgotten! He’s very much at the center of it all, and everything is right on schedule. This is no time to fear, but a time to rejoice as we have entered into a wondrous slice of God’s divine timetable’. It’s an honour and a privilege to be chosen to be alive for such a time as this – Dear brothers and sisters, we are living during the most exciting times in God on the planet!

  26. dan wessel says:

    Amen…sister Janine,said very well,God Bless,Dan.w

  27. That picture makes me want to puke.

The speed that sexual deviancy is being normalized is mind boggling.

  28. dan wessel says:

I believe God allows us to see pictures like this so we could not say..we didn’t know.I sense a really big thing or event..not in a good way.Jesus,..keep us safe in your arms. This world offers nothing we would want to accompany us into eternity. We must make an extra effort to reach the lost, there can’t be a whole lot of time left to do this, seeing how far and fast we have fallen in a short span of time, lets run the race set before us. God Bless.

  29. Brent De Kelver says:

This has to be the most BEAUTIFUL movement I have ever seen! How dare you all “followers” of god judge these two men. They love each other and that is that. It’s not like you will be joining them through their life, seeing as you probably don’t even know them.I always thought that god was the only one allowed to judge? What harm does it to you? Oh it harms your country, Please explain to me how? As the times change maybe you will start to realize that life isn’t all about the bible. And maybe if you John McTeran just came out of the closet you would be a LOT happier. I respect you as people, I don’t respect your hateful messages you spread to the world. Times are a changing!

    • JohnMcTernan says:

You can’t refute my message, so you try and accuse me of a vile sin.
What I do is offer you eternal life through repentance of sin and confessing Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  30. jimnjoy says:

@ Brent DeKelver…You say this has to be the most beautiful moment you have ever seen and that life isn’t all about the Bible? . Where do you get your moral absolutes? If it feels good, do it? Situation ethics? Yes, “times are a changing”, as you say. God loves us and wants to help us stay out-of trouble. He loves us and doesn’t want us to worry and stress about what is or is not going to be pleasing to Him. “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all…”, James 1:5, (part). You aren’t interested in asking God because you don’t want to hear what He has to say about things such as homosexuality. You know He calls it a sin. “…and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.” James 1:15, (part). We who point out such things are not “judging”. We are lovingly trying to be kind and help you avoid hell on earth, and also hell for eternity.

  31. Born Again says:

The falling away is in earnest nowadays as so-called men of God are promoting Sodom and Gommorah: http://www.fortmilltimes.com/2012/12/23/2401567/illinois-clergy-members-advocate.html

  32. Scot says:

I wonder how these sodomites plant to procreate. They cannot get themselves inseminated like a Holstein dairy cow.So I wonder how they plan procreate since that is one thing God intended for marriage.

  33. jimnjoy says:

@ Scot: They’re not thinking about procreation. They’re thinking of slowly but surely infiltrating all aspects of society…indoctrination at our schools, primarily. Evidently, they’re not thinking of eternity, either.

  34. Michael says:

It is God within us who gives us a hatred for the offensive sin these two men in the white house are committing. If anyone doesn’t hate and loath what the gays are doing maybe these people should question whether they are saved at all.Yes God loves gays as He loves all but abhors and hates the sin that unless repented of will take these people to hell.
