“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. a man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:7-8.

Good thing we Christians aren’t reaping what we sowed before we were saved! Good thing God has waited a little longer to let loose his judgements in order for us to get “in”, Amen? Sometimes we can get so impatient and disgusted with sin and sinners that we just want God to come on and wipe every body out, except our families, of course. The problem is that many of the “evil doers” out there that we consider the bad guys, will become good guys, later, in God’s perfect plan. We forget, we used to be “bad guys” too, until the grace of God found us.
Until God Himself says it’s over, we should be patient and merciful towards them, and continue to plead for God to protect America, since much of what’s happening is a result of cause and effect and not that God is personally coming after them for their sins. What we have sown personally we will reap, and there is no respecter of persons. In the meantime, we need to show them God’s love, and to convince them that He’s not willing for any one of them to perish. No matter how bad Christians consider the world’s sins to be, the grace of God is greater than any sin they’ve committed. Always remember that we too used to be part of that system. But thankfully, we serve a patient and loving God. That’s the true Gospel, and thank God for it!

It is not to ask God to protect America.
America is doing everything to provoke judgment.
It is to ask God to send an outpouring of His Holy Spirit to heal the land.
Ask Him to awaken His church which is fast asleep.
I am not asking God to wire anyone out. I am warning that the nation faces destruction for the agenda the nation is promoting.
God is holy and will let national sin only go so far.

Dear Sir, Quoted above – “Iran wants the war so the Mahdi can come to power and Islam can conquer the world”. So will the Mahdi be the anti-Christ who brings false peace? And is Islam the anti-Christ Spirit?
OBAMA ADMITS HE’S A MUSLIM HERE. Is this true John, he’s a muslim? He would be used to help usher in the Mahdi then perhaps? Then God help us all! http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=tCAffMSWSzY#t=28
I’m glad God is in control. Bless you John

John, the only thing I don’t understand is, there must have been Christians in the Sandy disaster. Why do they have to suffer because of someone else’s sin. I know the Bible says the rain falls on the just and the unjust. Maybe that is the answer. So many seem to be suffering now.

I have reported on my blog for believers to prepare.
I have asked believers to seek the LORD about being in “Harm’s way” and if they should move.
Are God’s people seeking the Lord? Are they asking Him about where to live and what to do?
Are the pastors warning and preparing the people.
The Lord is guide us IF WE SEEK HIM.

Thank you father God for opening our eyes to what is going on all around, but especially to your Son,our Savior, for without in whom…we would be without hope. It’s not officially thanksgiving yet…but I try to be thankful every day for something….Today I tell the world THANK YOU JESUS FOR SAVING ME!…and..I’m thankful to all of you,my brothers and sisters in Christ. P.S. Thank you, brother John for giving us a place to meet,Dan.w

  6. A couple of things here. 1., the bulk of the “pastors” ARE NOT warning ANYONE of what is to come, at least not my pastors. God forbid if. in spite of all the incidents happening, in spite of all the warnings of a “religion” that insists on killing not only “infidels” but their own people in the name of “god”, in spite of the OBVIOUS season we are in, we just don’t put on our best happy face ahd have, like Spongebob says, “the best day ever!!!” If I could find another body that actually taught the TRUTH, I would flee to them. In regards to the believers being in harms way, thats a tough one to answer, and I pray for them daily. Honestly, I fervantly hope never to have to go through what they are going through now. I really don’t want to know if I could hold up like they are. Regarding praying for America…why? why would God bless this country anymore? Why would we even deserve it? the honest answer is we don’t. Please don’t quote 2Chron7:14…please don’t tell me about Ninevah. the first was for Israel…not us. the second…the WHOLE country repented, not just the believers. Ain’t gonna happen here any time soon. Finally, regarding when the Lord is gonna let the angel blow the trumpet, I have a question. a lot of people like to throw around 70 or 80 years from the time Israel became a nation once again. My question is why does it have to be either? Why not 73 or 75 or 77 years or whatever? All the date setting(not you John) drives me crazy. My own stance is, the sooner the better for the Lord to come back. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HERE ON THIS PLANET THAT IS WORTH POSTPONING ETERNITY WITH JESUS!!!! I honestly believe we are at about the saturation point, the full number of the Gentiles. God, I hope I’m right. I don’t want to be here anymore. I want to go home.

I agree with you. How convenient, for the WH, that this scandal pops up right before Patraeus can testify before congress. They have an agenda and a willing media, who will distract the American people, while they set about to accomplish it. PTL….we serve a mighty God,who we can take shelter in. This is to sparrow, i have many times asked what you have and a wise man told me to read acts 14:22 “confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” Christians are not exempt from suffering, Jesus suffered and died for our sins we are not above Jesus to have suffering. Jesus’ disciples suffered greatly. Hope this helps.

“God could have made Romney win if the Church responded and prayed correctly. The Church should have prayed for His will on this election without promoting any candidate; God knows better and Christians shouldn’t have compromised with Romney being a Mormon and ungodly himself. They should have surrendered themselves and the nation to His perfect will in this crucial time instead of begging of Him to let Romney win. There’s a big difference in letting God install the man Himself than to make him appear “good” by calling him the “lesser evil,” hence, promoting him and campaigning for him as the best candidate to save and lead America to recovery. That is trusting in man instead of Him. Promoting Romney and ignoring the obvious kind of person that he is, is actually buying the devil’s lie and siding with him.

Surrendering the matter to Him and letting Him do as He pleased is acknowledging His Sovereignty. The Church is as desperate as the rest of the nation is, but instead of repenting and humbly submitting to Him and lead the nation to Him, the Church went in the way of the nation. If judgment begins in the household of faith, repentance and humility must also begin in the household of faith. The Church miserably failed.

Regardless of the physical and natural reasons behind Romney’s loss as the political analysts say, still the Lord is behind all those. God is in full control.

The bottomline in all of these is that both the so-called Christian Church and the nation failed to see that heartfelt repentance and humble submission to Him is the key to the nation’s recovery regardless of who is sitting in the White House. Remember that the king’s heart in Adonai’s hand is like the streams of water- He directs it wherever He pleases (Prov. 21:1)”

No doubt we will hear this more and more as the end draws near and the greatest deception of all mankind is unleashed upon the earth. And this deception will no doubt be heralded by the greatest deceiver of all time—the antichrist”

  16. We cannot delay God’s timing or His plan. The Bible is being fulfilled and its coming very fast and when Christ comes to take us home it will hit fast.
God is warning us that His time is coming and we must just pray for each other and witness to others. America has gone to hell and there is no turning back because our government is now under the ruler ship of satan and God’s plan is in full force. All we can do is stock up with food for these last days and keep our eyes on the Lord so we dont sink like Peter did when he took his eyes off the Lord.
Mr. McT is right, America has lost all hope because people just dont believe what is coming and our government has taken God out of everything and man is doing his own thing.
God bless all of you and may He keep you safe

  17. Indulge me please to share my heart felt, no gut felt, response regarding those who correct the voice of prophecy. Isn’t it hard, perhaps impossible to connect the mercy of God with the judgment of God? It is however, the way God Himself presents Himself.

    The Prophet Pleads With Mercy

    Blindness, Blindness
    that some call Kindness,
    Why do you correct me
    when the truth I speak?

    When I tell of judgment,
don’t treat me like a freak!

    Don’t let your mercy motivation
    destroy an entire Nation.

    It matters not which place
we’ve got, if Mercy or the Prophet,

    It is what God says is, that is;
    and love warns of thorns.

    Love snatches the vulnerable
    away from the dark tunnel.

So when I advise of pending doom
for mankind’s sin, don’t fill the room

    With voices of correction
    telling of my harshness,

Coddling the sin in them, you see,
with your voice of intended mercy.

Be certain therefore Mercy, that you
In your righteous intent to protect, do not

The message of the wages of sin neglect,
dooming to destruction, diluting the truth.

Each gift of God will do its job,
and we all love you Mercy,

But be assured, God has placed other
functioning gifts to reside in your brother.

Each person has a gift which is
assigned to them; which they must engage

    Even when they, dear Mercy,
    must endure your correcting rage.

Let us work together. Let us tell
the entire truth: God does have mercy

To save the sinning soul from hell.
Let the full truth be sent,

From their sins they must repent; for those
    whom God oppose without repentance,

    Do not receive the mercy of God;
    “All truth is not beautiful.”

So to all who read, please take heed,
Mercy is your pleasure, if you will

But confess your sin and repent
    asking Jesus to be your Savior;

    Then live life righteously, and
judgment from God, you will never see.

Come on Mercy, work with me,
    please don’t shout me down

    Drowning the sound of warning
and of plea, for without knowledge

Of their sin and repentance made by them,
You dear Mercy, you they cannot receive.

I cannot thank you enough for your poem.
It is right on and explains the conflict between mercy and the holiness of God with warnings of judgment.
People called every name you can think of and a lot of it comes from Christians.
At times, it is very lonely and difficult as people refuse to receive God’s judgment on a nation.
I have to remain true to what the Holy Spirit shows me, as I am accountable to Him.
When God shows me judgment, the blood is on me until I release it, and then the blood is on those that refuse to accept the warning.
      God bless you.

    • Ramona: What a spirit-led poem! Thank you so much and AMEN!

    • Mary E. says:

Ramona! WOW! What a great,spirit-inspired poem. It really gets to the heart of the matter. A tremendous gift the Lord has given to you.

  18. @Hope: “Good thing we Christians aren’t reaping what we sowed before we were saved! Good thing God has waited a little longer to let loose his judgements in order for us to get “in”, Amen? Sometimes we can get so impatient and disgusted with sin and sinners that we just want God to come on and wipe every body out, except our families, of course.”

Hope, there are two things in this statement that I would like to address.

First, the part about “reaping what we sowed before we were saved”. With that statement, you are painting all Christians with a very broad brush. Perhaps you and the people you know sowed some wild seeds before they were saved; but that is a very narrow-minded view to lump all Christians into that category. Perhaps you are not aware nor have considered all the Christians who were saved while children. I was 9 years old and sorry to disappoint you but I didn’t sow many wild seeds at age 8-I had been in Sunday School and church since a baby and I learned to love Jesus and wanted to be like Him from that early age. as did most of the children I knew in SS and in public schools. Actually you were very much a minority if you were not a Christian while still in elementary school. Of course that was back in the 40’s, but even in the early 50’s in high school, Christians were the majority. But to carry that forward, all my children and grandchildren became Christians before sowing those wild seeds you mention. But even though growing up in a Christian atmosphere, we were aware of the lost and had an early concern for their salvation. We had always been taught to love the sinner while hating the sin!

Which brings me to the 2nd point–“we can get so impatient and disgusted with sin and sinners that we just want God to come on and wipe every body out, except our families, of course.” Once again you are using a VERY broad brush to lump Christians into what you believe they are thinking. The very idea to accuse Christians of wanting to wipe everybody out is an outrageous thought! Where in the world did that come from I wonder? It must be from your own imagination rather than from facts, because you certainly do not know all Christians, nor their feelings, nor their thoughts, and decidedly you do not know their personal relationship with their Lord and Saviour.

    Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV)
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

    • Hope says:

@Barbara, In these last days, we’re warned that because sin will abound, the love of many will wax cold. So we all need to be particularly on guard that coldness doesn’t over take our love, mercy and compassion for the sinner. That you were saved at a very young age is a blessing indeed, but it hasn’t been that way for all of us and I dare say that those getting saved at an early age now would probably be in the minority. Sometimes those who have been forgiven little have a hard time understanding the love and mercy for the lost in other Christians, who have received more abundant forgiveness because of years and years of accumulated sin. Much of it very vile. Because we know how very bad we were, causes us to appreciate our salvation more than someone who was forgiven, little. We also love more, and have a greater compassion for sinners, because we were in their shoes, and can identify with them, something those of whom little was forgiven can never understand. These are not my opinions, but were acknowledged by the Lord Jesus.
In Luke 7:43 Jesus told Simon …” to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.” When we Christians beg God to rapture us out right now, do we fully understand what we’re asking God to do? If He answers our prayers, just as soon as we leave terrible things will begin to happen on the Earth. Many will die quickly in calamities, who might have been saved if they just had a little more time. We need to be patient with our present circumstances, knowing that the longer God forbears, the more time sinners will have that same chance to make the decision we did. Warn them yes, of course, but always with love and mercy having just as much prominence in the message and equal time as the judgements of God. This is the Gospel. It’s not only about judgement and warning but about judgement and abundant mercy. One without the other, is only half a Gospel.

      • Hope: Gerie, you are up to your old tricks! Are you implying (In Luke 7:43 Jesus told Simon …” to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.” ) that I love little. I knew you would have a very hateful reply to what I wrote and would twist and turn things to make it look like I was somehow less than you, but you have hit a new low! You do not have to preach to me–I have sinned enough and required God’s forgiveness enough that I know exactly why He had to die on that cruel cross for me and I do have a heart for the lost. You can accuse from here until doomsday, but God knows my heart. Just like I said, you make these awful assumptions about Christians that you know nothing about!

I would suggest that you get a heart and stop accusing Christians of being less than you are. I also suggest that you start using your real name instead of hiding behind all these aliases that you have been using over the past few months. God still knows who you are too!

You are so scared of prophecy and hate it so much that you are in total denial of the days in which we live! But even at this very minute things are heating up so quickly in Israel that allout war could happen at anytime and if it does it may very well overflow right into our back door (or maybe even our front door). All the more reason to witness–are you really witnessing or are you just talking about it! I have been praying for you almost every day for the past 2 years that you will wake up to realiity! I also suggest that you might want to consider that the following verses now apply to our beloved United States of America which is no more!

        Daniel 5:25-27 (KJV)
25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

May God bless you, Gerie. Maranatha!

        • Hope says:

Barbara, I’m so surprised by your comment! If you think I have put myself above you or anybody else, you are sorely mistaken. This is what I said…… “So we *ALL* need to be particularly on guard that coldness doesn’t over take our love, mercy and compassion for the sinner.” My message was a general message to the body, inspired by His Spirit. Many times I myself am convicted by the things the Lord inspires me to write. Barbara, if you’ll notice, I included myself in there too, maybe you overlooked that. I wasn’t saved at a young age ( I wish I was, you are so blessed ) so I had my share of sin under my belt, yet I still found myself every so often, getting disgusted with “those sinners” as if I never lived like them or acted like them. I was appalled at their behaviour till the Lord reminded me that the only reason I’m “good” now is because of His grace. His grace. Not anything I’ve done. They are all sinners, just like we were, waiting to be forgiven and made new, just like us. Somehow we can forget all that and just want Jesus to come for us, even knowing what it will mean to everybody else. Those people who are deceived just like we were. Notice I said, We in my earlier comment. I didn’t say Barbara. It’s a general term that may or may not include you, but for sure when I say “we” or “all” I include myself. However you chose to say this anyway…… “I would suggest that you get a heart and stop accusing Christians of being less than you are” No Barbara, I never said that so don’t be offended over nothing, but instead get angry with the one who is really behind strife and causes Christians to get angry with eachother, instead of him. Also, if the Lord has laid something on my heart, I’m going to say it. We will all have to answer for the things we said or things we were afraid to say at the Judgement seat, however, now is not that time. The Holy Spirit has taught me that those who have been forgiven little love little. I can’t change scripture, thats what it says! And I think that may be the difference, in that Christians who have been forgiven much, seem to be able to identify themselves better with the lost compared to those who have been raised in Christian homes. Sorry Barbara if you were offended. That was not my intention. I read scripture such as Luke 7:43, and I believe what it says. If you or anybody else was forgiven little then it applies to you. If I was forgiven little then it applies to me. It’s not good to get too personal to make a point, just stick to the scriptures, and strive to keep the unity of the Spirit. I’m not better than you, God knows, but consider myself the least of all those who post comments here.

Saw John on Sid Roth. One of the few prophets that makes sense or is not trying to sell his advice like a fortune teller. Pay close attention to Israel. Russsia is offering to help Syria and become more involved in the mideast. America allowed our Ambassador to be killed and are removing our top Military leaders. We are also losing the war we’re in and just waiting for our body count to rise until the American people get fed up. We will then probably refuse to help Israel when they need us.

  20. Our military is falling before Jan 1. I think we are going to see our military get even weaker as time goes on. Obama wants to deflate our military and we will be so weak that we wont be able to help ourselves or Israel.
What went down to expose our top leaders to fall?
was it just the election itself? Mr. McT you are so right what is to come.
Syria is now sending rockets over to Israel, Israel is sending them back. I dont think it will take much more time before this war comes into full bloom, and now that Obama is willing to help Israel give up their land I’m sure he will work very hard to get that job done. We have to remember Obama is not one of us. I think the US will fall before the end of 2013.

  21. Janine says:

God’s judgment is a sign of his mercy and love – I’m sure you would agree! The closer you are to God, the more you know His heart and ways!
“When your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness” (Isaiah 26:9). “We may not like to hear his judgments, but to pronounce God’s judgment is much less harsh than what will happen if those who sin are not warned to turn back from their sin. God is showing his mercy today by acting to purify the church. It is obvious that many Christians are being led into doubt and unbelief and even sin by some of their teachers and leaders. His judgment is falling on them because God wants to save those being lied to. He is acting, and will continue to act, in judgment of his people to make his mind and word clear so that those being seduced can be saved. God is also acting in judgment to save the seducers and deceivers. We can be sure that God loves them and wants to call them back as well. If we are faithful in seeking to understand and proclaim God’s ways, He will pour out his merciful love. If we speak the truth when the truth should be spoken, God will move those who hear us to repentance, to mourning, to change.
The judgment of God will bring God’s people to life in ways that we are not capable of imagining. Such is the mercy of God’s judgment”
Bless you John – you are a man who undnerstands the heart of God which can only come from an intimate relationship with Him and you are proclaiming His love and mercy – that ALL would be saved! He says to you “Well done good and faithful servant”

  22. Danny says:

Things pop up in my mind when I read things like this. Just who did Jesus die for? Jesus told the sinners if you don’t believe I won’t judge you. Jesus said the sinner is judged already. And I look at what happen and think.. God is the worst judge ever. We have lost and saved all in the same pot that got hurt. Ever notice it’s always GOD doing the bad thing. satan .. is this guy dead? Jesus said if this was His kingdom His servants would fight. Jesus said satan is the God of this world. Jesus said what we see happening is just what it is birth pains. When God does judge it will hit all not just a few and leave those that did the sin free and clear. There are things Israel has done just over the few years that are sin just like this. Yet no storms no quakes and so forth. Guess He didn’t see that because their His people.
God told Lot what? Said I can do nothing while you are still here. Yet now Christians see some sin start tossing stones then some storm or quake that kills babies, women and men that LOVE Jesus are righteous and yep God was upset. Yet one man can (God for bid) hurt, kill 1-1000’s and that was not God it was just man. Jesus told them that new the word inside and out the best of them said “you don’t know the Father”. Forgive me but we don’t know the Father. You don’t send your son to die for who? Lol just who is for the sinner now? Sinner now has GOD upset and after them and satan and Christians.. just who loves the sinner no matter what? Try to remember MAN will toss out word and blame GOD for the destruction.
For us its been thousands of years since Jesus died. Yet for the Father it just happened. It is not yesterday its now with God. His love has not changed ours has. What some think was meant for the world I think was meant for us. The love for many has grown cold. What happens when we sin and then stay in that sin? We open a door that really bad things happen and GOD was not part of it. This world is covered with sin and Jesus is coming what we see is what SIN can do not God. God sent His son to die for all that sin. Loves them just the way they are. Some do not know the Father or His love. We have not seen Judgment yet. When a spirit is cast out, if that house does not stay clean have Jesus put in the spirit goes out and gets 7 more worse then its self and comes back. When GOD is pushed out the enemy comes rushing in. What is the enemys job? Show them love, mercy, grace He waited for you he did not judge you then scare you to repent. He has not changed….we have. Pray for Obama God is going to visit him… I think hes back because God is showing His mercy. Pray for this nation and the world. For no matter what its going to get darker and scary out there just before Jesus comes. Love them, love them as He loves you and thinks about you when you sin.. show the same.

Forgive me if I offended. did not mean to. Bless you all.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

As I read your email, love seems to mean just accepting sin and not saying anything.
Love is warning that God is holy and will judge a people when they make sin an ordinance.
How come that warning is somehow not loving? This is so strange to me.
When we share the gospel, is that not warning also? There is a real heaven and a real hell, or should we not mention hell?

Just an add to what Debra said above. I was lying in bed lastnight pondering what you had said Brother John shortly after the repeal of DADT. You said that the military would be under judgement for allowing open homosexuality AND because military leaders were silent and did not oppose it or speak out against it. Well, now we see our top military leaders apparently under judgement, being stripped of their dignity and most likely their rank and positions. It is incredible to see it play out as you had warned.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

Yes, I warned that things like this were coming.
God is exposing their sin and destroying the military at the same time.
Nothing can save the US military as the church does not care that it was taken over by the Hard Left reprobates.
      This is so sad.

  24. Nancy says:

    Thank You, Barbara!

  25. Norman says:

Came across this short article by an old ‘Prayer For Israel’ friend this evening, whom I hadn’t heard from for several years. The last paragraph says it all, and affirms all that you dear friends in America are feeling.

  26. Norman says:

See also Keith’s excellent article on prayer for Israel here, so relevant to your next post, John, on the latest developments in the Middle East, as well as for our own nations:

      “A Prayer for Israel – Psalm 83”

For those who have yet to view, this short video maps the spiritual conflict: the people and countries surrounding… pressing upon and threatening Israel; the Islamic caliphate massing upon the border of Israel. Primarily descendants of Ishmael (Gen 16:12) described as violent, a “wild man”. This is the Islamist, forever-jihader encompassing the Muslim brotherhood: “The border of wickedness”.

“… Edom [ the `Arab nation’ ] … they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever. And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel. (Mal 1:4-5)
