Evil is trying to convince the world that people are born gay…. here they admit, they were not born gay, but were taught how to be that way.

Sin destroys……….. Jesus saves!!!! Our hope is in Christ Jesus.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John, thank you for being the watchman! I am so thankful for this blog, here we can see the “real news” of what is really happening in the world and where to focus our prayers.
May God richly bless you and everyone on this blog.

Well, as we expected, SCOTUS has done it. And although I knew it would happen, I am speechless. Never in my lifetime did I think I would see our nation fall to such depravity. But the Lord has reminded me again and again that this is NOT my home. I am only passing through. I believe that the time to pray for repentance has come to an end and the time to preach the Gospel will soon come to a close as we prepare to depart for Home. My prayer now is to take one more person with me.

When I read the news this morning, two verses came to my mind:

Habakkuk 3:2 – O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

Jeremiah 11:14 – Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

Although I understand that both of these verses refer to Israel, I believe that are pertinent for us. The ride is going to be bumpy but we need to keep our eyes on Jesus, and not on the waves threatening to engulf us. But our Blessed Hope is that we will be going Home soon and I can’t wait to be with my Bridegroom.

    God Bless and Maranatha

Irene, thank you and I agree.
You mention the waves threatening to engulf us reminded me of many years ago when I was deep-sea-fishing. Out of nowhere a storm came, not knowing how to swim and being without a life jacket, I began to scream for someone to pass a life jacket to me. With the roar of the storm no one could hear me. I was looking up into the waves and I stopped and said “Jesus is this the way I am going to meet you”? At that moment an indescribable calmness rushed over me and I sat back and enjoyed every wave until we docked.
Jesus takes away the fear and gives us complete peace.
    May God Bless you.

Irene, I love how you said you want to take one more person with you! You are not alone. Just today a stranger in a store struck up a conversation with me re: this decision, not knowing my views, and shared his testimony. We both agreed that Jesus is coming soon.

The Jeremiah passage was eerie. Thank you for sharing. It really hit me. People have been praying and fasting over this, and it seems like it wasn’t enough, but I know He hears us. I guess the other side was louder–for now. We’ll see Who has the last word.

I googled what Christians are saying about this decision and one comment page I read was very depressing. Christians were saying it’s over for the US & why bother to try to save people who don’t want to be saved.

Pastors want to fight this, b/c we know the churches will be persecuted, and I think, “too little, too late.”

Politicians are for sure getting their sound bites in. The conservatives talk about standing up for Christians, but where have they been before now? The liberals are ready to party with the reprobates, and from all accounts, there’s a nationwide party going on in the LGBT community. I’ve run the gamut of emotions from “How sick” to “How sad.”

People think the church will see violence, but I think the LGBT community will see violence, too. We can burn the American flag and take down the Confederate flag, but do we really think people are going to salute the Rainbow flag?

In the 8th grade literature textbook from which I once taught, there was a Twilight Zone episode titled “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street.” Aliens were messing with peoples lights and motors, and people were blaming each other. Violence escalated until someone was shot. The Aliens said, “See we don’t have to destroy mankind; we just mess with their things a little and they will destroy themselves.” Aliens are really demons. Satan and his black-robed minions are messing with our Constitution, and we will destroy ourselves. Hope He comes soon.
