CIA and NSA ‘want to know everything’

  1. What is happening in Turkey? Is this prophetic?

  2. Melany says:

Completely agree with you that it is, indeed, an honor being here to see all this happen. Things keep going from bad to worse, but all of this is shaking my world in welcome ways. It has driven me to my knees, where I belong.

I was just looking at pictures I took of the Memorial Day parade. So few WWII veterans left. A government of the people, by the people. How many want surveillance into every area of their lives? So much blood shed for our freedom and it’s gone. All of this is a tip of the iceberg. I will stand on this emphatically – that we are so close to Messiah’s return that not one fear should beset you. Walk by faith, not by sight. Granted, these days are stressful. I’ve never experienced anything like this before in 57 years of living. Sometimes I can’t believe I’m seeing all of this happen, but I am so grateful that I am. ‘Keeping all of you in my prayers.

This item from today’s news relates to a remote French village in WW2, which saved the lives of 5000 Jews from the holocaust. They had been influenced by the Plymouth Brethren founding member, John Nelson Darby, 100 years before.
The second link speaks of Darby’s work as an evangelist in rural Ireland, and his love for the Jews (see those wonderful quotes at the end). Thus accoutred in the whole armour of God and valiant for truth, he left a lasting legacy that was to withstand the fear of the Nazis. A lesson for us in our day too, as horizons darken?

  4. Jenny says:

It’s so neat how God is using the physical to demonstrate the spiritual so that even the blind will see!

Utah Data Center records our lives. Jesus is writing our lives in the Book of Life for us to give an account.

The Antichrist seeks worship and all attention. When Jesus comes again, the whole world will see and acknowledge Him.

I know there are many more! It makes even deeper sense that “everyone will be without excuse.” The whole world is filled with His Glory!!

We are so close, Redeemed Ones! So close! WooHoo!!

Just when you thought you knew enough about the [1984] society that is here ,now..we get a huge learning curve.Thank you brother John for giving us the real story. All of Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in order, and we are all far down the road already. The Bible, all of you,and this site let me know it’s not a bad dream..but a hard truth,a cold reality….Playing ostrich won’t help us.Being in Christ will,..and being properly informed. This old world is in for a heck of a wake up call.Let’s pray for them..We were once as they were…God bless all of you,Dan.w

This surveillance technology is a sign for our times, but on a good note to those who are criminals and don’t know their being watched it will bring good to see where the meth labs are and if there’s a rape in progress it would be seen.
Just as you said John with these bad storms it will bring some to repentance, maybe for the first time ever….On the news after the Moore tornadoes they were interviewing a young girl who said I never really looked to God,but now I am!
These are trying times saints so remember Brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are Lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;if there be any virtue, and if there be any Praise,THINK ON THESE THINGS.(Philippians 4:8).
God’s Blessing IS Upon This Ministry!

I really struggle with the concept of Christ’s return before tribulation. There simply are not enough scriptures to back this up. The bride is not pure, not spotless, not ready. We all know that persecution is what purifies. Look at the parable of the wheat and tares. I hear so many believers give such a casual “who cares” attitude about prophetic events because they “won’t be here” anyway so “bring it on”. Do we really believe that we won’t suffer persecution? Where was the rapture for so many believers in the past who had to suffer for their faith? We are the laziest, complacent generation of believers and yet we are to believe we will be raptured in this state? While I don’t want to be here and it honestly scares me that I would have to endure persecution, which generation would fulfill the scripture of “loving not their lives, even unto death”?

I have been watching the advance of technology since the invention of the home computer. Even though I have been following biblical prophecy for many, many decades, the rapidity of all of this is indeed breathtaking. I know that there are many brothers and sisters who are becoming more and more uncomfortable in the world, and that is a good thing. It only makes us long for Home even more. I know that I have been pretty much stripped of many personal luxuries recently due to illness and financial downturns, but I can see the Lord’s hand in it. And the Lord has been providing us with what we need (although He does sometimes have to remind me when I find myself getting down or becoming distressed.) All in all, I am so excited to see all that is happening. We are blessed to be able to watch prophecy happen.

On another note, I am in Ohio and we are in line for some serious storms tomorrow (06/12/13). They are calling for a derecho (think wind storm on steroids covering a couple hundred miles) with winds up to and possibly exceeding 70 mph. Then there’s another front that might have rotating thunderstorms (think tornadoes). This storm is going to be just plain nasty. Please be in prayer. I know the Lord is watching over us but I pray for others who might not know our Lord yet, that He will give them one more chance.

So many things happening so fast it is hard to keep up with it all. We were warned that June would be a very bad month:

    ‘Apocalyptic’ sandstorm hits Nevada…

    1 killed…:

  12. Sutton says:

    Hi John,

Dreadful storms , those Derechos again, are coming to the MidWest, with potential tornadoes for Metro Chicago. There are also tornado threats for the suburbs of Philadelphia where the US Open will be played. And a noreaster off of New England where the low surface pressure will be 4 standard deviations off of the June mean, which is astonishing.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

Keep in mind that this is officially
Gay Month” according to the federal government.
Wow, all these storms might hit at the same time.

  13. Mary E. says:

Great weather update,Sutton. Keeping all of these areas up in prayer. This could be a very dangerous weather event, in highly populated areas. As of noon, this Wednesday, the northern areas of Illinois,Indiana and Ohio have been put in a PDS, or Particularly Dangerous Situation. John, this could affect your area tomorrow and also Barbara in Va. I’m already praying for you!

    • JohnMcTernan says:

I am calling for emergency blog talk radio prayer tonight at 9:00 PM EST for God’s mercy in judgment.
See my blog to take part.

  14. Peggy says:

I live in Pittsburgh, PA. This week they are having a gay parade in downtown Pittsburgh. Just sickening.

This week in the Pittsburgh newspaper was an article written by a homosexual male, saying how astounding it was – all the increase in support for the gay community just in the past 10 years.

John – I guess we could have told him that the birth pangs are increasing. My guess is that he’d have had no idea of what we were talking about. Truly sad.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

God who is holy has turned America over to a reprobate mind and this open homosexuality is sign of the judgment.

  15. dan .w says:

I believe the Scriptures are full of references regarding Christ taking His bride home before Wrath is poured out on the remaining unbelievers. We are not appointed to wrath. Many have a ‘crucifix’ hanging on their wall…but is the Cross of Christ in your heart? Many will say in that day,Lord,Lord…but they obviously are not His,or He would not have said begone, you who work iniquity,I….never…knew…you.God bless you brother John for your straight teaching.Dan.w

  16. Irene C says:

UPDATE ON THE STORMS. Here in North Central Ohio, we are in our second tornado warning. Storms are hitting all around us plus we have a flash flood warning. And once that is over, there is another front coming in from Indiana. This is the wildest weather I have seen in a long time in our area. But I am at peace. I can feel the prayers from all my brothers and sisters.

  17. Mary E. says:

Irene, Had you covered in prayer as I followed the storms on radar. Continuing to pray for those in the path today.
