The homosexuals and their wicked enablers are on the rampage. I am sick of this. I have just about reached the end of my tolerance for these heathen. I am fully in favor of splitting off from the states that want same-sex marriage. I wish that could be possible, but I know the US government would never agree to it. The Left is eaten up with their hatred for God (even while many of them claim to be Christians). They are determined to defeat real Christians. They would happily disarm the nation, if they could find a way to do that. If Jesus does not soon return, I can see that a civil war is possible.

The headlines are ominous, and grieving to my spirit. The sheeple in this country don’t seem to realize that we too – at the drop of a hat – could be imprisoned for preaching the Word. It’s one executive order away.

The emergent church mouth-pieces don’t talk about the late date, though. Too busy raking in filthy lucre and giving everyone a stirring “experience of God.” Mega churches full of bodies, but spiritually empty.

Are there still Christians out there who do not acknowledge the correlation of the church ages with the churches addressed in Revelation 1-3?

    The hour is late indeed.

This website, http://www.carpenterstouch.org, has two articles by Phyliss Ford about a Word of the Lord for 2013. Part 1 has been very helpful to me. I would recommend that you all check it out. Many things that John has mentioned in his blog you will see in this article.

  4. Janine says:

“If you want to be assured of hearing God’s voice, however, you need to be living a life of surrender and obedience before Him. Christ never instructed His disciples to take up arms in defence of themselves. What He did tell them was to flee when they were persecuted.
Matthew 10:23 “But whenever they persecute you in this city, flee to the next…”
There are numerous examples of the saints fleeing from persecution in the book of Acts. It is not necessary for a Christian to remain in harm’s way out of some misplaced belief that they must never act to avoid suffering. The will of Yahweh is that we be guided by His Spirit in all things. When He says to flee, we should flee. When He advises us to avoid some area, or people, then we should do as He directs. When He tells us to accept the suffering we see before us, then we need to accept what is coming. The apostle Paul manifested this attitude in his life, and he is a pattern for the saints as well….
….Brothers and sisters, those who take up the sword will die by the sword. We wrestle not against flesh and blood. Your greatest battle will be to overcome the fear, pride and other Adamic motives within your own soul that would drive you to take up arms.
Without question, there will be much that the people of God are called to suffer in the days ahead. These experiences are for the perfecting of the saints. To pass through these trials victoriously will require faith and patience. I am confident that Yahweh will extend great grace to all who put their trust in Him” parablesblog

      Janine,
The police have every right to be armed including Christian police.
I think you are confusing being persecuted for the faith and defending yourself from criminals or a tyrannical government.
We have every right to defend ourselves from a Hitler, if not you just handed the world over to evil.
If you do not want to defend yourself it is a matter of conscience, and I would not condemn you.
But, I an not siting by and letting evil takeover which in Germany killed 6 million Jews.
In the case of America, God blessed us with the ability to defend ourselves and nation from enemies within and without.

  5. Janine says:

That wasn’t me speaking – that was parablesblog.com as I mentioned’s take Thats His conscience on the matter.

  6. McClean says:

@ Janine re: quote… “Christ never instructed His disciples to take up arms in defence of themselves. ”

While Christ still present with them, no; no need to take up arms. BUT… upon His leaving to be with the Father, this admonition to His followers.

    Luk 22:35-36;38
    (35) And he [Jesus] said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

    (36) Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

    (38) And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

I believe the Bible clearly teaches that we are free to defend ourselves in the proper context. If two people try to break into my home at night, and I’m home,it is my responsibility to protect my family,as best I can.God Bless you all out there in Christ,Dan.w

  8. Don says:

Agreed, John. Certanly there have been many instances in this word’s history when the Lord has called for arms to be taken up, and the ancient Israelites are a perfect example of that. Wouldn’t you agree that the Allied powers were a rod of judgment upon Nazi Germany?

    God Bless.

John, I don’t know if you know about it but in case you don’t Steve Quayle’s blog, http://www.stevequayle.com, has many news articles about the kind of stuff you bring to our attention. He brings out a lot of stuff that is going on behind the scenes.

  11. As a Canadian I am watching what is going on in the US now with the gun debate. I may be the only one here who feels this way but I believe that as Christians, God is our Protector and Shield. He is the One who takes care of us, and so the angry dog I have or the guns that you carry are small tools that we really should not put any faith in at all. Sometimes God will allow “things” that we put our trust in to be removed from our lives so that we will realize that we really do not need those “things” in our lives BUT we do need God. God is our refuge and strength and in Him we trust.
Matthew 5 38-39 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also
    and Matthew 5:44-45 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

      Sparrow,
God has blessed Americans with the ability to defend themselves against tyrannical governments, and this is the purpose of the Second Amendment.
History is replete with democracies going tyrannical like Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany.
America is set up with the 50 states having the National Guard and an armed citizens as a check on the federal government.
I see your take on scriptures as allowing Hitler to come to power and not being able to stop him.

Speaking of signs in the sun…there are total solar eclipses on New Year’s Day on the Hebraic calendar in back to back years-2015 and 2016. And a partial solar eclipse on the Day of Trumpets in 2016. Interesting huh?

  13. Keith says:

Unfortunately, this is what is reaped when lawlessness is sowed. When PEOPLE get to pick and choose which commandments to follow and which ones not to follow rather than following the standard which God has already clearly given to us in His Word. Every man doing that which was right in his own eyes-it was a bad idea then, and is still a bad idea now. God is allowing this nation to go into judgment. It will start at His sanctuary-always has and this case will be no exception. We’ve sown the wind and will soon reap the whirlwind.

  14. Janine says:

Thanks McClean. I trust God in each individual who loves and puts their trust in Him. May we all walk in faith in this hour as we listen to the still small voice of the Spirit being led by His peace at all times. I trust that God is always in control, not satan. Greater is He in us than he that is in the world. God bless you!

N Sparrow, I would give you the shirt off my back, and even my life , if I knew it would help you.But you better not try and take them from me! Does this sound familiar?it should.lucifer was the most anointed angel, given the most.Look what happened to him when he tried to take. This shows me that way is part of my Gods nature.PS I have enjoyed many of your comments in the past, so not to pick on you. Also I have a question to ask you some day.Gods understanding to you.

  19. Janine says:

‘Johnathan Cahn is a good man’. He is a Messianic Rabbi. I have been doing some research! Apparently some of these Messianic Rabbi’s and their congregations understand the new covenant alright! They say the LAW means Torah which means teachings. They see the Torah then as Gods instruction manual for life on how to love God and others; not for salvation! That way staying clear of legalism and self righteousness. They enjoy their Shabbats and festivals of The Lord with Jesus/Yeshua at the centre! These Shadows reminding them of Him! Bless them!
They see it as a blessing in their lives! I’m not sure that they believe in a pre-trib rapture, but neither do some Christians!

  21. McClean says:

Hi Janine… I’ve read others’ commentaries (including articles you linked below, thank you). Once again, this is what the Lord said, here… in context. God bless.

Luke 22:36-39 “Then said he unto them,

    BUT NOW …

he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip [wallet]: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.”

Until then the Jews plotted to seize Him, but for fear of starting an uprising, waited… until then, the “now” is His death fully plotted. The Lord now warns His disciples of what was about to happen.

For this cause came He into this world… to Mt. Olives, a long night and onto Calvary… “followed by His disciples”, the hatred not to end with Him.

The Lord now “reckoned among the transgressors”, His disciples were too. The powers of darkness were then and still are fast moving against the “children of Light”. Now great persecution and attacks would follow Christ “the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead”.

    (37) For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

The “things concerning me have an end; “It is finished” (Jn 19:30)… the end sealed. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son… the world now saved… “whosoever will”.

Yet until we hear the call up as a trumpet the battle rages. And we should be prepared to protect ourselves. This was and still is our Lord’s warning: to “occupy” until He comes, until He returns for His “jewels”. . .

And have “a sword”, “two swords” still “enough”: a “Two-edged sword” and what means, as the Lord leads, needed to defend.

    (38) And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

    (39) And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

  22. I think its important that we as Christians agree on the core issues of faith and salvation but it’s OK to disagree in the non-core issues. I would be happy to answer any legitimate question you might have for me. God’s blessings to you.
