    500 year drought,,,,,,followed by 9 inches of rain today in Frisco

    reminds me of Elijah on Mount Carmel

    The MAN OF GOD is surrounded by 750 false prophets.
    Elijah called for a contest.
    Fire from Heaven.
    The people shouted “THE LORD IS GOD!”.
    Elijah went up in a chariot of fire to Heaven!
    Is God calling us to a contest?

    Just this morning, I was doing my online surfing for news. I especially follow news items concerning Israel. I am sitting here now almost in shock (although I thought I had heard just about everything there was to hear against Israel). The shock is not from the article and video that I was watching, but from the very first comment about that article. Here is one line from the comment:

    “America’s demise is a result of the creation of Israel not a punishment for impeding it.”

    This statement probably sums up the anti-Semitic feeling that seems to be exploding around the world. The pro-Palestinian fervor is growing and growing. This makes me long for Jesus to show the world who He is so:

    Philippians 2:10-11 (KJV)

    10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

    11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    Blessing Israeli Believers is indeed a wonderful organization working to strengthen believers in Israel. Thank you John and Pastor Don for the work you are doing there!

    God bless us all!

    We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; 2 Thessalonians 1:3 KJV

    I would encourage anyone who reads this forum ( Believers ) to consider giving to ‘Blessing Israeli Believers’. This is what Jesus meant when he said,” In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren…”

    For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.For the LORD will give grace and glory;no good thing will he withold from them that walk uprightly.O LORD of hosts,blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. Psalm 84;10-12
