Verse of The Day
Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
I posted several articles about the economy. They show you the big picture of what is happening here and in the world. The economy is melting down and cannot be stopped. The reason I say this is God has judged it. The US and world came against Israel to divide the land and at the same time the US economy blew apart dragging the world with it. You can see the correlation between the meltdown and pressuring Israel in the update to my book. God is extremely serious as it appears the time to judge the nations has begun.
Events in Israel have calmed down for a while. Hamas was greatly weakened and it appears that Israel does not want Obama to face a crisis his first day in office, so there is some sort of a cease fire. It is going to be very interesting to see what happens in the near future with Hezbullah and Iran. They cannot let Hamas be destroyed. Iran president: ‘Not feasible’ for Israel to live “At a news conference, Ahmadinejad said the fighting in Gaza has been “a great lesson for all,” saying it shows “the absolute defeat and desperation of this (Israeli) regime.” He says that “even for the supporters of the occupying regime and its leaders, it has become clear that the continuation of the Zionist regime’s life in the region is not feasible.”
Latvia is shaken by riots over its weak economy 01/15/09 As the world economy continues to contract and fail, this will happen all over the world, including the US. This will bring the cry for a “New World Order.” People will beg for the NWO as this crisis worsens.
“For years, Latvia boasted of double-digit economic growth rates, but it has been shaken by the global economic downturn. Its central bank has spent a fifth of its reserves to guard against a steep devaluation of its currency, the lat, and experts expect a 5 percent contraction of the country’s gross domestic product in 2009. Salaries are expected to fall substantially, and unemployment is expected to rise.”
Mexico’s Instability Is a Real Problem 01/16/09 Mexico is totally corrupt and this is now affecting the stability of the country. A large percentage of Mexico’s income is from oil. The falling price of oil plus the corruption is driving Mexico into a meltdown. This is dangerous for the US, because millions of Mexicans may head north for survival. This would wreck havoc on our southern states. What a nightmare this could turn into! It could happen this year as the economic meltdown is accelerating. Shipping rates hit zero as trade sinks 01/14/09 When avenues like this are exhausted to try and keep the economy going, this results in no tools left and reality that nothing can stop the meltdown. This reality will hit this year.
Israel and The War in the Middle East
“Though Fatah denounces Israel’s battle with Hamas in the most ven
omous terms, the West Bank masses are said to be fuming that Fatah won’t let them confront Israel directly. “This will irreparably damage its standing in the eyes of Palestinians…” an Arab expert told The Christian Science Monitor. In other words, many ordinary Palestinians want Fatah to again lead them into another violent uprising – despite the devastation a third intifada would bring down on them. Never mind that the standard of living in the West Bank is better than it has been in years.”
“Evidence of Iran’s efforts to acquire sensitive materials also is emerging from investigations by state and federal prosecutors in New York into whether a number of major Western banks illegally handled funds for Iran and deliberately hid Iranian transactions routed through the U.S. One focus of the inquiries is the role of Italy, including the Rome branch of Iran’s Bank Sepah and Italy’s Banca Intesa Sanpaolo Spa. Banca Intesa said it is cooperating in the inquiries.”
James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
