John: This debate about what Phil Robertson said in his magazine interview has been one of the most interesting and also the most frustrating that I’ve seen in a long time. But, one thing about it is that it has finally brought out in the open exactly what the act of homosexuality is! And it boggled my mind that the first ones to become enraged over Phil’s statements practically screamed that it was lies. Lies? Give me a break!

I watched the video in your very first link and see that “Christians” are so much a part of the problem. What O’Reilly (Roman Catholic) kept trying to push was that Phil made a big mistake when he said that those in that lifestyle would not go to heaven. What mistake? God’s Word is very clear on that subject. O’Reilly also kept pushing Luke 6:37 which is what all of the politically correct people want to use when condemning those who would WARN people of the consequences of their behavior and lifestyles and calling it sin. Real love is preaching the full truth of God’s Word! I am still amazed at the prevalence of the thoughts that O’Reilly was expressing. These people just do not get it!

I did find a very interesting THEORY on why Phil Robertson used the magazine interview to express his opinions on the subject: http://chartistfriendfrompittsburgh.blogspot.com/2013/12/chartist-friends-squirrel-brain-duck.html – wonder if that could have been what Phil’s goal was? God works in ways that we cannot even begin to understand. What if He allowed the Robertson family to become so popular in order that Phil could be used at this time and in this way to bring the truth of what homosexuality really is to the deaf and blind and pc people?!

    John 8:32 (KJV)
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

    Maranatha!

Jesus still intimidates people of today and He only wants to give them everlasting life. The left is so afraid but just wait until the tribulation starts with the Anti-Christ. Lets wonder how many of the left will call for Jesus then.
You can sure see how this world is turning into hell and how things are almost ready for the anti-Christ. I think once gay-marriage and all the other sins that become law Christ will take us home, I hope.
I knew Obama was a snake but I think he is much worse. How he is getting this world ready for the anti-Christ. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a clear case of morality vs immorality. People involved in any type of sin cannot take being confronted. They need to repent and turn their lives over to Jesus. I thought it interesting how Crackel Barrel restaurants pulled all of the Duck Dynasty products after all of the controversy. Now I see they have made an about face and said that they really messed up by doing that. What happened was those with MORALS stood up, and spoke out. Doesn’t money talk!
I thought it also interesting that the priest that is on Fox News, a lot, said the other night that homosexuality is not a sin……it is the ACT of homosexuality that is. Seems like all sin starts with a thought and without the Holy Spirit convicting a person it leads to the act.
Our Father does work in mysterious ways! Father thank you for saving me from an eternity in hell. Thank you for mercy and grace. THANK YOU FOR JESUS,
    Merry Christmas every one.

There is still good news going on around the World recently. Croatia voted to ban homosexual ‘marriage.’ India’s supreme court criminalized sodomy, Australia’s supreme court ruled against homosexual ‘marriage’, and Uganda’s government criminalized sodomy.

You are so right John that the homosexuals are terrified of the truth coming out about this sin. They hate the light of God’s moral law because it exposes their sin. Same-sex marriage is in no human’s DNA. The backlash against the homosexuals with this Duck Dynasty incident has been encouraging, but I don’t know if it will be enough to stop the tide of same-sex marriage from becoming the law of the land. I still know many Christians who stay silent on the issue. Nor is there a word from the pulpit of my large evangelical church. This is the last straw for me and I am leaving the congregation at the end of the month. I’ve never been a church-hopper but the Lord has firmly convicted me to cut ties now. As you’ve been saying for years John, homosexuality may well become the defining issue for America’s future and it will result in great judgment being brought on the land.

Living in Utah I was completely blindsided by the new ruling allowing Homosexual marriage. Not only that, but the ruling earlier in the week essentially saying that parts of the Polygamy laws would no longer be enforced was quite a shock also.
Utah has voted on the issue saying that marriage should be only between a man and a women and it had about 65% support. It is amazing in this country how the ruling by one judge can overturn the will of the people.

    John,
Your twitter post of Pope Francis is a old hoax. See http://www.snopes.com/politics/francis.asp

  8. God “seeks godly offspring” and hates anything that undermines or destroys marriage because of the harm that creates (Malachi 2:14-16 [14] Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. [15] And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. [16] For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. See All… ). The inherent contradiction between what God designed marriage relationships to be and same-sex marriage cannot be changed by altering the definition of marriage or carefully couching arguments to make alternative lifestyles seem more acceptable.
