And I’m really sorry to here of your mother’s passing. When my mother died it was the hardest time of my life. But Jesus rescued me and healed my heart.

I’m so very sorry for the loss of your Mother. Hopefully it won’t be long before we all join our loved ones in heaven with our King! May God’s peace and comfort be with you. God bless!

  4. Irene C says:

Brother John – I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Even though we know we will see our saved loved ones again, we still grieve for them while we’re in this world. I just lose my beloved mother on September 10th so I am going through the same process. My mother was also a Christian (saved) woman and I know that I will see her and my dad again.

The Ebola disease is indeed a scary one. When it was 3,000 miles away, no one gave it a 2nd thought. And even though it’s here, people just think about it as just another illness. Even our government is dismissing it as nothing to worry about.

    Then I read this:

Yes, we need prayer for our nation: for protection and for salvation for those who are sill lost. Makes me wonder how long it will take before it spreads across the country.

May God bless you and bring you His peace during this time in your life.

John, Once again I’m sorry for the loss of your dear mother, I still get sad over my mom’s passing, but I’m happy for her that she doesn’t have to see what is going on in the world today. She died in April and since then so many terrible things have happened.
I will make sure to tune in for the prayer next Saturday, thank you for having this, I truly need it. When I heard about the first actual case of Ebola in America, I can’t pretend that it didn’t scared me to pieces! For a short time I really thought I was going to have a breakdown and end up in the hospital. But when I picked up my bible that night to continue reading, it was Psalms 18 that brought tears of relief and comfort to my heart. What mighty power in God’s holy word, I’ve read the same chapter at least 3 times since that night! Lord bless and protect everyone who come here, so happy to be a part of this group of brothers and sisters in the Lord!

Dear John we send our prayers to you and your family. We rejoice to
hear that your mom is with the Lord. Praise God for establishing a health protection prayer time. As thing progress, I know many will be gripped with fear. We will join you in prayer and also inform others who need prayer. God bless you. See you soon.

Thanks so much for the encouraging email.
We will start the health show this Saturday.

  7. Danielle says:

Brother John ~ I am so looking forward to Saturday as well as every other night that you are on the radio. We have missed you, but we have you covered in prayer for this difficult time. Very important that you have added Thursday communion. This was His idea and very significant, as I believe there is more to this than we can wrap our minds around. He would never do things without a good reason, and Jesus said in Luke 22:19 “This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.” Thank you for giving us the opportunity to obey and receive this blessing. For many of us, this is the only time of true fellowship we know. SHALOM 🙂

  8. Terry says:

Sorry about the news of your mother.

The news of the Ebola virus in America also happened during the Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

  9. Peter says:

    Shocking connection….

Wondering what judgement is coming to sweden when it is the first European country to recognize state of Palestine ?

  10. Jennie Christopherson says:

Yes…when are we finally going to believe Genesis 12:3…?! ANYONE coming against Israel is under a curse… You just DO NOT mess with the apple of God’s eye. Period.

  11. Debbie says:

So sorry for the loss of your mother. I will be praying for you and your family.

  12. Joe says:

Good to see you back in the office, its sad about your mother hope you get to felling better, what you say is true America has not had this kind of pestilence for a long time, so it will be interesting to see if this does take off and infect a lot of people, (on CNN the CDC says they have it all under control and we have the power to fight this) God will take care of His children so I’m not really concerned, at the same time if God wants to use this for another wake up call He will CDC or no CDC. , What I want to see is the US standing behind Israel and then God will bless America.
PS.. Netanyhu should have call him Hussein, or Barry, at the meeting.

  13. Dan.w says:

President Ebola,[no pun intended],wants our military to stand in harms way and subject themselves to the virus, because like his papa satan..he knows they will bring that disease home to their families,so they may be infected. It’s the modus of operation, his calling card,as it were.Like father, like son.Everything Ebola,I mean Obama touches..turns to jello. This IS by design. We know what the deceiver doe’s with his stooges when finished with them..I think I hear the toilet flushing…lets not go down with it.Trust in Christ with all your being.Let fear fall away from you.Open yourself up fully to let the Lord examine you,[and me],to refine us and shape us unto His lovely image.I ask this in Jesus most wonderful name……………Amen.

I have your books John and enjoy the timing of events re:America and Israel.
Many people are praying for America all over the U.S.A.

Now is the time for people to be in a right
    relationship with The Lord.
Even the “Left Behind” movie with Nicholas
Cage opened on October 3rd all across America. Excellent. 5 stars.
    Time is so short.
My deepest Sympathy in the loss of your Mother. I did Hospice Nursing several years ago. It doesn’t matter how old a Mom is. It is hardest on a son. Seems there is a special bond with a son even if the mother wasn’t a good mom.
Sincere Blessings and God’s favor and Peace be yours.

  15. Joe says:

Another thing I do not think our government cares at all if 20 to 30 million of us die, just look at what they do to infants in the womb, and they also think human beings are the problem with the world.

  16. S.O. says:

John, so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. May our God bless you and your family. Shalom, my brother. S.O.

  17. Dan.w says:

Father God…………Please comfort brother John, and his family at this time of sorrow.I also ask for all my friends here who are struggling, that the Lord’s peace joy and comfort surround them,Amen.

  18. marc_w says:

    Brother John,

My household and I pass along our heart felt condolences with the passing of your dear mother.

As believers in the Messiah, we have mixed emotions – sorrow for our separation from our loved ones and joy that we have His guarantee that we will be with our family of faith forever.

We continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ. We hope that the words of Jesus offer some comfort until we are united in glory:

“And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.” John 16:22.

    Until the shofar sounds,

  19. Loretta says:

Now we can see more of this demonic beheading…. may God have mercy!

Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

  20. Gary Canant says:

The CDC has 4 patents of Ebola… 4 different strains to try out on us…… US 20120251502A, EP 2350270 A2, CA 2741523 A1, WO 2010048615 A2… all patented by the CDC for the government.

  21. Brendon says:

    Brother John,

My deepest sympathy for you and your family. My favorite verse is Revelation 21:4-5.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”

  22. Gary B says:

Because of the Supreme Court’s decision not to consider appeals, same-sex marriage is going to be legal in several more states, including my state of NC. I am VERY angry about this. I have grown to have nothing but contempt for the courts, and for the government in general, especially the federal government. I consider the US Government to be the greatest danger on earth to me and those I love. I don’t respect the government, but I do fear it. It has the power to kill any of us or incarcerate any of us when ever it wants to, and there is not much we can do, legally, to stop it. It pretends the US Constitution means anything the government wants it to mean, regardless of what the Constitution actually says. Times are getting worse. And rapidly.

  23. Sue says:

Our deepest sympathy on your mom’s passing. We rejoice with you, however, that she is now in the Presence of our Lord Jesus! We know she will be missed by you and your family, but that you will see her again! Our prayers are with you!

  24. Denise in MI says:

I know you’re trying to catch up, but would you please post about the Enterovirus D68? I know that a little 4 y.o. in NJ died from it this week, when it had looked like he only had Pink Eye. Is this coming from our southern border and all the people coming through there? (I think we need to reopen Ellis Island/ Angel Island and quarantine people before losing them throughout the US.) I also think, with cold & flu season just around the corner there will be panic about diseases, while others will not seek medical help, thinking it’s just a cold.

  25. Denise in MI says:

This is for Dan W., in fun, as you like to play with the name. I wonder if Pres. “Ebola” knows his name is a form of Hebrew. Maybe that’s why he went by Barry for a while. Hussein means, “handsome one,”btw. So in contrast to the One Who “hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.(Isaiah 53:2b)
But that’s the whole point, right?

The meaning of the name Barack is Blessed
The origin of the name Barack is African
    Alternate spellings: Barrack, Barak

  26. Pamela says:

My heart and prayers are with you John and your family at this tender time. I pray your Mother’s passing was peaceful and that you have assurance that she’s with the Lord and rejoicing with your Father. I pray that the Lord will soothe your heart and heal any brokenness. God bless you.

  27. Mary E. says:

Deepest sympathy to you, John and your family. You have been in my prayers.

Irene, good to see you back on the comment section. You have been missed.

Dan, I have been racking my brains trying to figure out WHY this government would send soldiers to countries with ebola instead of fighting isis. Your comments are plausible.

  28. Dan.w says:

Thanks for the comments my friends.Sometimes I try and put some humor on something that hurts us all so very much.It is not to trivialize it,but to make it seem bearable. There is ,however truth in all I post, sometimes with my little spin attached.I love all people, even Barack Ebola….but honestly,he doe’s make me sick to my stomach.I realize he is God’s whip on America,a p[resident] we deserve. After 911,it appeared as if there would be national repentance. Now look where we are…in God’s crosshairs. This is what so amazes me….He,Barack,is God’s man for this hour,he also is satan’s pick……..and he ‘won’,two, not just one election!Think about what I just said………..and it’s true…………………………………Wow..Even dead people voted for him, some more than once….now that’s popularity. God help us all,and He will.

  29. Brother John – the following 3 Scripture verses have been a great help to me since the ‘home going’ of my beloved wife of 40+ years:
    (3) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
    (4) Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
    (Is 26:3-4 [KJV])

“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”
    (Ps 116:15 [KJV])

    (1) The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
    (2) He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
    (Is 57:1-2 [KJV])

I most sincerely pray that they will be a continuing help in the ‘home going to glory’ of your mom. – Bro. Nick
