Prayers for the author of this blog and for all those in the path of the tornado outbreak this week. Our God is an awesome God, strong and mighty to save. May He bless and protect you all in the storms of life.

The devastation and death in the Midwest is heartbreaking. I heard last night that John Kerry made some statements about Israel that were abhorrent. I couldn’t help but think of the connection of his statements to these storms (and I am sure there are other connections). America is in such a fog and it is disheartening:( Prayers and condolences to you and your family Brother John.

Do you think the tornado activity has anything to do with the kerry comment?

As the United States works to divide Israel, tornadoes and floods are devastating the Gulf Coast region. We even had a possible tornado come through out town this evening, which is rare. As I’m typing this (after midnight), the Pensacola FL and Mobile AL area is under water and more tornadoes are ripping through Florida. More storms are forecasted to come through the South East on Wednesday. I have been tracking these storms all week and it is devastating. Praying for Brother John and for all other who are in the path of these storms.

Believe it or not, I mentioned to a friend in an email that I was praying for you. I remembered that you live in Ohio and as soon as I saw the tornado warning, last night, I hoped it was not in your area. Like you, I have been watching this system all week. I am thankful that the outbreak did not occur a second time for Mississippi and Alabama, due to the torrential rains in the Florida panhandle. I think the flooding situation took the meteorologists by surprise. Also, early in the year, I had read a prophetic word from a reliable source, saying that extreme lightening would accompany the violent storms hitting this country. I think we are seeing that.

Thank you Mary E, for your prayers. Yes, I’m in Richland County and that storm came right through my town. I was sitting here at my computer, watching the storms in the south on TV and tracking them on my computer. I had been talking to my son when I heard the thunder and started hearing lightening. I hadn’t checked the radar yet for my area when I heard the hail hitting the window and the wind started howling. It was raining sideways and the warning blared on the TV. It came fast. Found out today that it wasn’t a tornado but a microburst, which can be just a damaging. We had some damage in the area with trees down and one lady was trapped when the trailer she was in flipped over. She’s okay with minor injuries. We had no damage and didn’t even lose power. But it was intense and got my adrenaline pumping, especially after watching all the storms going on down south. Our Lord knew that we needed some prayers here at that moment. Thank you.
