“Holy Fire” Burns California

Verse of the Day

Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Commentary

This really is shocking because the name is so appropriate. The massive fire burning south of Los Angeles was named HOLY FIRE!!! I have no idea of how it was named Holy Fire, but it is fitting because of the sin of this state.
When I write like, some people are offended and don’t think that God is judging, and all we should do is pray. Now praying is very important, but we have to realize that there is a time for God to judge.
California has killed millions of babies in the womb, and the state does everything to protect and promote the killing. The state leads the way in the homosexual agenda, and it does everything to protect and promote the homosexual agenda, including teaching it to children in school. The Los Angeles area with Hollywood promotes sexual sins including pedophilia. The list goes on and on including exalting Islam.
These massive fires in view of the depth of sin should have everyone in repentance crying out to God for mercy and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
A real problem is so much many believers have lost the fear of God and don’t believe that he will judge a nation. God is holy and any nation or state that offends his holiness is subject to his judgment. It is very possible that California right now is at this point. Massive earthquakes might be next.
My question is where is the church in California? Where are the pastors leading in repentance and for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit? I’m sure there is one here and there, but where is the church? The pastors can’t hide in the tall grass anymore because the Lord is burning it up!

2 Chronicles 7:13,14 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Holy Fire Burns California!!!

Leviticus 18:20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.

“Holy Fire has raced across 15 square miles in Orange and Riverside counties since blaze started on Monday Thousands of homes are threatened by the flames and 21,000 people have been evacuated from the area Governor Jerry Brown declared a new state of emergency for the affected counties on Thursday.

Governor Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency as a wildfire that forced 21,000 people from their homes continues to rage south of Los Angeles. Brown issued the declaration on Thursday for Orange and Riverside counties because of the Holy Fire in the Cleveland National Forest, which is threatening thousands of homes.  The fire near Lake Elsinore is devouring brushy foothills, ridgetops and canyons. It’s blackened 16 square miles and is only 5 per cent contained. On Thursday, flames came within yards of some homes. Twelve structures have been confirmed destroyed in the fire so far – and elsewhere the Carr Fire has destroyed nearly 1,100 homes.
