Hurricanes and Southern Decadence

  1. Praying for and with you John!

  2. John: What a wonderful and clear explanation of your intentions in your posts regarding this hurricane! I have been totally mystified that people actually thought you were looking forward to the destruction of a city. These are people who evidently have not been following your blog and do not understand the love and extreme concern that you have for people and for our nation!

Those who call themselves Christians and don’t understand what a WARNING is need to spend much more time reading God’s Word. It is obvious that so many do not realize that we are so close to Jesus’ return that God has sent Watchmen to warn of coming judgments–just like the prophets in the Old Testament warned Israel of coming judgments and those prophets were hated. I’ve noticed the same thing now. The Watcmen are hated and are being accused of fearmongering or of hate speech. This also was prophesied. I posted this scripture before but I believe it bears repeating:

    2 Timothy 4:3-4 (KJV)
    3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

And for those who do not believe we are living in the end times, here is another scripture that fits:

    2 Peter 3:3-4 (KJV)
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

    Maranatha!

Barbara, Thanks for the understanding email.
I made my intentions crystal clear but I can see how people twisted what I said to the point I want the destruction!
I an warning how to avoid it and have God’s blessings on the nation.
My writings are crystal clear as I posted on my blog and here in the comments.
At the end of the day, I want everyone to know that God is holy and will not tolerate such behavior,
and they can be free of homosexuality through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I think that I have conveyed this to them.

I wanted to add that last year, 2011, this same time during the planned “Southern Decadence.” there was also a storm, of course to a lesser degree. The local New Orleans paper said,
“Last year, we were expecting around 100,000 people or so, but then when the storm came in, the hotels lost about 20 percent of the bookings.”

As I listened to your radio show on NTEB and you were talking about this upcoming hurricane I though of the meaning of the name Isaac being laughter. I remembered the scripture that says about them rejecting the knowledge of God so He would “laugh” in the day of their calamity.

It is abvious God did have mercy in judgement and perhaps because of the church. Hopefully and prayerfully the rest of the church will wake up and see and turn back wholeheartedly to God.

Also I would like to mention the part of the church usually critical against thinking God judges anymore is the charismatic side of the church. I once was a part of that movement but have left it because of some of these reasons like God doesn’t judge anymore.

Keep preaching it John. I think you do it with great balance. Mercy and Truth.

NEW ORLEANS TOOK A DEADLY CHANCE

New Orleans took a deadly chance
Once again by hosting Southern Decadence
Homosexual behavior makes The Holy God sick
So He sent a laughing storm called Hurricane Isaac.

Vengeful swells 12 feet high washed the filth aside
Extinguishing the flame of limp-wristed flamers so-called Gay Pride.
Punishing waters sent Homosexuals on the run and kept others away.
Flushing what they thought was a laugh and lots of revelry preventing their debauchery and evil party.

The Holy God is ever so patient and slow to anger
So if you are brazen enough to shake your fist at The Holy God with an extended middle finger,
You shouldn’t be surprised when He causes the storm to linger and languish.
As if to say; “As your punishment I’ll inflict upon you another Billion dollars in property damage”.

But they won’t learn their lesson and will come back another day to test their fate.
While the city drowned they didn’t hesitate to plan and set another date.
As the city continues to soak in a deadly flood-bath
remember that it is The Holy God of laughing Isaac who has the last laugh.

    In His Service,
    Tom
