Is America and Israel Dividing Over Jerusalem?

With the storm clouds all around [Israel]…be sure God will be their protector.Things are in a speeded up mode,as we see events prophetically take place before our eyes. The rapture cannot be far off.If we believe in Jesus, this is in our near future, even if we don’t fully understand it.Christ will come for His bride…[thats us folks]…then not long afterwards,we come back with Christ as he leads His army..[thats us behind Him on white horses],as He takes care of business. We are NOT appointed to wrath as some may ascribe go through all or part of the tribulation to supposedly suffer for our Lord or work out some undone things. He,[Christ ]took our punishment fully, completely,on Himself. Our blessed response should be to trust Him fully. We cannot make ourselves presentable in our flesh,or prop ourselves up enough for God to be pleased.Apart from the finished work of Christ,we are unclean and undone.Thank you Lord Jesus…for paying my sin debt in full.Dan.w

    • Keith O. says:

Dan, You are correct about not being appointed to wrath, but some understand at least the possibility that the great tribulation and wrath to be two separtate things.

The Messianic movement is gathering momentum as well. Many Jews are now coming to salvation receiving Jesus/Yeshua as their Savior and Lord. It is quite obvious that the Jewish people have a vital role to play in the end time drama. The ever increasing numbers of Jews accepting Jesus/Yeshua as their Savior and coming Messiah is a wonderful new development. But greater things are yet to come. Future times will see the spiritual salvation of the whole Jewish nation. This will also be attended by their national salvation. Jerusalem will be delivered from the surrounding armies of the gentiles. -Joel 2:28-32 These encircling armies will be destroyed by our returning Messiah as they muster north of the city in the Valley of Armageddon. The spiritual and national salvation of all Israel will be a magnificent moment in future holy history. This climactic end time event set forth in End-Time Bible Prophecy is slated to occur very late in the 70th week. -Zech.12:7-13:1 On this great and glorious future day the entire Jewish nation will accept Jesus/Yeshua as their Savior and Messiah. Their coming home to Yeshua/Jesus will not be for them only. Their salvation and restoration is destined to enrich us all. -Rom.11:11-15 (The End Time Pilgrim)

      This was a nice post.
I would add that when the Lord Jesus returns that He brings His bride, the church with Him.
Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

I think the years just ahead of us will be the most exciting time to be alive on this earth as a Believer”! What a privelige and an honour to be alive for such a time as this! Praise God!
It seems like we are coming into a great Holy season on earth! A ‘habitation’ not just a ‘visitation’ of God’s spirit!
I don’t suppose God is concerned about the grim predictions of man. Instead, He most likely laughing at the enemy’s and mans’ plans for this earth! If He is in control of our lives, He is our provider and protector. Surely, it can’t be the time for the rapture to come yet because there is something that must be fulfilled first – the saints anointing, Joel 2. (Wouldn’t want to miss being a part of that) Even if there are wars and even some disasters it will not prevent God from coming and showing up and showing off in His Bride! It will be an Invasion of earth. The Great Awakening, the former & latter rain, the Restoration of all things, the Greater works, the last great move of God. Because this is a divine event, no demon, neither man, nor government can stop it from coming forth!
WOW, what a supernatural time we must be coming in to – Supernatural protection and provision for His bride in the ‘wilderness’ of this earth as she heals the sick, raises the dead. Perhaps she will even be supernaturally translated and transported when necessary. Angels will be seen everywhere helping her and ministering. Many more souls will be coming into the Kingdom! An end time harvest! Praise The Lord…. Exciting times ahead! May our oil be full and our armor on! We are overcomers in Him! Blessings and shalom.

  6. Tony Deeds says:

God is in fact speaking to the Jewish people and Jewish nation of Israel about his only begotten son Jesus. I am one of those Jews who has accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. In my own community this would make me no longer Jewish as the Jewish community says I have now embraced a different religion. I do not care what they think of me since God spoke to me some two months ago about who the messiah for the Jewish people is.
I had at at least 4 dreams/visions from God on this. The first dream I had from God was to continue to read his word which I have been doing. The second dream I had from God was about the Messiah. God told me it is in fact Jesus. The third dream I had from him was that it was okay to follow Jesus and it should not matter what my own people, or anyone else should think of this. From this I know I must follow God and I must listen to what he tells me. The fourth dream I had from God was about Gay Marriage. The good Lord told this is wrong after I prayed to him what the truth about this is. As you can tell Jesus is not just for the Gentiles, but also for Jews too.

  7. I agree with Cynthia. Dan and Jan did an excellent job with the post. I could not of said it better myself. Thank you both.

Mr Mc.T after reading Zech 12:9 I can see why America will not be around. Obama is going against Israel even though he is going through the back door, God still sees him. I just wonder at what point God will destroy America to its very core, when He goes after all the nations. In my mind it would have to come when this first war breaks out.
If it happens this way I know we dont have much time left and I am looking forward to going home. I have loved ones who are waiting for me.
John, you do such a great job letting us know what is going on, the news dont have the guts to tell it like it is.
    God bless you Mr. McT

On an unrelated note, I’ve noticed trees budding as if it were Spring here in Michigan. I thought I was at first “seeing things” as my senses seem to be tuned to spot abnormalities. I don’t know of any news sources that document what I’ve observed but I’ve had my father-in-law say the same thing about trees in the Houghton Lake area and another friend say that his lilac trees in Bay City are budding, too. Last Spring, we lost much of the Michigan apple crop and cherry crop as they blossomed in 80 degree temperatures in March and then froze. The water levels of Lake Huron are at or nearing record low levels. I guess nothing really surprises me anymore.

  9. Tom says:

I find it rather interesting how the World News article: “Men don’t have to worry about being caught…” contradicts The Telegraph’s article “The unique advantage of female war correspondents” found as a related article to the main header story above.

The first shows the horrors of abuse endured by females in Muslim countries by Muslim men. The second presents an almost idyllic scenario where Western women are revered and respected.

If it’s possible for both stories to be true then we should only send Lesbian correspondents to the middle east so they can report without being molested while at the same time garnering reverence and respect.

    Hi Tony!
    WOW, what a great testimony.
    How wonderful!
Do you know of Sid Roth – It’s Supernatural! He was a Jew who found Yeshua/Jesus too. Here is his free book if you’re interested.
“Messiah Jesus has broken down the middle wall of division between Jew and Gentile. (See Ephesians 2:14.)
“When the two come together creating One New Man, the glory will increase with healings, miracles, and the greatest harvest of souls in history”

I desire to follow Him and His word out of inspiration by the Spirit of God, whatever that may be, whatever the cost! I desire to follow Him as He leads. It’s difficult at times, losing family and friends and having to agree to disagree to follow The Lord and the leading of the Spirit. Blessings and Shalom as you serve Him. Thanks for this blog. It’s a blessing and God is moving through it as He leads us into all Truth!

I believe the Bible makes clear distinction between tribulation, great tribulation, and the Great Tribulation.I believe we as believers at this present time, can and do experience the first two…The last one,the Great Tribulation is saved for those who have rejected Christ. We will have gone from the church age ‘day of grace’,to God once again focusing on Israel, while we are with Christ our husband.I won’t set dates..’no man knows the day or the hour…I also realize the mideast has long been a hotspot, but now ravening wolves circle around Israel, seeking her demise.Spiritual eyes see it can’t go on forever.God is shaking the nations, and from all appearances ,the world just about has given God the unified finger of contempt. He is Holy, and His character and nature will be on display for all to see.He will not be mocked.I believe the Bible, and also believe in dispensations. We are near the end of one,and almost overlapping into the next.I’m not looking for the antichrist…I’m waiting for Jesus Christ. God Bless all,,,Dan.w

    • “I believe the Bible, and also believe in dispensations. We are near the end of one,and almost overlapping into the next.I’m not looking for the antichrist…I’m waiting for Jesus Christ. God Bless all,,,Dan.w”

Dan, well-written words! We are definitely on the same page, and for several days I have considered writing a short comment on dispensations. That is actually a “dirty word” to some Christians and I think it is because it is not much understood. But it is so important to understand God’s beautiful Words that He has guarded down through the years and will continue to guard so that we may know HIM and know what has been and what will be. God is so good and His love for us is absolutely beyond explanation. He finally taught me that the more I understand His Word, the more I love Him and the more love I have for others.

What I have discovered over the years is that to even begin to understand God’s Word, we really do need to understand that the Old Testament was written FOR the church for learning the beginning of things, for example, for things that were “shadows” of things to come, and especially for prophecy; but that it was not necessarily written TO the church for application by the church. That is where “rightly dividing The Word” comes in, and where studying God’s Word with the use of dispensational thinking helps us to identify what God intended for the church, which is what Paul’s ministry was all about.

Even as a young teenager, God’s Holy Spirit guided me into the realization that all was not perfect in the church but I did not throw the church out. The church I grew up in was a wonderful family with much to be learned and a lot of love given and received. It has taken a lifetime, but now I understand how cults have developed and why there are so many denominations. When I finally left the last church where I was a member it was upon finding that the pastor (whom I knew well except for his whole theology) did a series of lessons on the end times. I attended only the first session because I immediately discovered that he was amillennial, believed that there was no 7-yr. tribulation, and worst of all, that the church had replaced Israel. Ever since (about 4 years now) I have depended on sites like this one to be my “church” as there are none in my area that I have found who believe and teach the soon coming of our Lord.

I pray for God’s blessings and the understanding of His Word for all of you who have claimed our precious Lord, Jesus Christ, as your Saviour and as your King. And I pray for the salvation of many lost souls before His return! Amen!

  13. Janine says:

    Sorry John.
I noticed you were on the Sid Roth show. Are the views on His website ok in your opinion? I’m sure The Lord loves our tenacity in encouraging one another as His return draws near & seeking spiritual wisdom, insight and understanding. Isn’t the Holy Spirit such a wonderful teacher who leads us into all truth. The truth of Jesus, the living word. Our way, our truth, our life. I like what you said ..’we need to keep our focus on him’. I love Gods people and hearing all their different views (they love Him so) being confident that as we keep our eyes on Him all will be revealed in His perfect way and timing and all will be ok. The best view to have is the view of beholding Him! One things for sure ‘He’s coming back soon!’ Warmly blessing you!

  14. Behold Damascus says:

“It appears that Assad is being “cornered.” Will he unleash his chemical weapons and carry out his threat that the “Middle East would go up in flames, especially Israel?” If he does It’s easy to see how Israel could respond with nuclear weapons so that “Damascus is taken away from being a city” and made a ruinous heap.
Remember also that Syria and Iran are allies, and let’s not forget about Russia too, it is easy to see how the Syrian war could set off WWIII in the very near future” (ETF) Look up!
Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

  15. Paul says:

2 Cor 4:4 would explain why the secular world has thrown Israel under the bus yet again for building on its own land.
I am so sick of articles that call Israel the “occupiers” of the West Bank (Judea and Samaria), when it was Jordan who “occupied” it after the 1947 war, only to lose control of it in the 6-day war of 1967.
Israel are the rightful owners of this land, and I pray Benjamin Netanyahu goes ahead with the construction of settlements in the E1 region.
I have a picture of it: it is a hilly and desolate region that no one even sets foot in.
How utterly ignorant and foolish are the UN and all those who burden themselves with Jerusalem.
    Stand strong Israel!

  16. Janine says:

Speaking of the Rapture, I was just imagining how chaotic it would be if/when bus drivers and pilots were suddenly raptured – the poor people left wouldn’t even have a chance to repent or come to Jesus! Oh dear! Somehow God protecting Noah and His family in the ark while He washed the wicked away seemed so much gentler and less chaotic! I felt really disturbed by it when suddenly Psalm 91 came to mind – There’s peace & safety in Abiding in the Presence of God.
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High – Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
That’s where I want to be no matter what! Snuggling into Him! So Glad we’ll be in the ark with Him protected under His wings. God is so faithful in comforting us, just after that I found out my sister, only 49 has pancreatic cancer. I knew exactly what I needed to do – get into the ark – focus on Him and He gave me His peace that passes all understanding. Praise Him! He’s at the door! Pray for souls & the peace of Jerusalem!

John, Here is an article on how the US is helping to build up the Muslim Brotherhoods military arsenal. I wonder how much more of this is, or has been, going on without the American people being informed. To me this is pure evil from the Obama Administration to aid the MB with OUR military tanks and other arsenal, such evilness, deceit, and deception. It makes me sick to know that the same equipment that I used to work on (in the 80’s and 90’s) as a mechanic could now be sitting in Egypt in our enemies hands. Especially when you know what these tanks (M1A1) are capable of doing. I am truly sick to the core that ‘America’ is allowing such idiocy to happen.

In the King James Bible – Jacob is a man therefore Israel is he! Jerusalem is refered to as she!

The King James Bible is already interpreted we need to read it daily!

The King James Bible is already rightly divided we need to read it daily letting the Holy Spirit teach us what he wrote!

Dispensation of grace was given to the apostle Paul, today dispensationalism is almost a cult in some of the churches out there – BEWARE!

  21. dan wessel says:

When I was speaking of dispensations in the Bible,I was pointing out that God is a God of order.I didn’t make up dispensations, its clearly seen in the Bible. Before Adam and Eve sinned, that was the dispensation of innocence, after they sinned, you could call it a dispensation of conscience, because now they were aware of their sin. After this came the dispensation of human government, next, the dispensation of promise where God led Abraham to a new land. The dispensation of law came next which focused on the chosen people, the Jews. The dispensation of grace is the time we now live in,also called the church age.Right after the close of the church age,the tribulation, then the 1000 year kingdom age, then eternity future.I don’t see anything cultic in this.I find it all in the Bible. Its there for all to see.Thank all of you for your insight and great posts and comments. All of you are loved in the Lord.May He bless you into eternity, sincerely Dan.w P.S. The Bible is like a building. It has structure and order. We have but only scratched the surface…..Can’t wait to see it from heaven.

  22. Nancy says:

As far as what I said with King James Bible I meant just exactly what it says!
Concerning dispensation I believe it, I think too much is made of it!
I read a book few years back that went into all these things about interpreting, rightly dividing the word, dispensationlism etc. I could not finish the book completely,my most holy faith in God was strongly shakened because it left me with a feeling of I don’t want to read the bible anymore, this is after I had been reading the bible for many many years. I was so upset I had to go into a room by myself and cry out to the Lord and my precious comforter the Holy Spirit deeply ministered to me back to living again. I will never forget that horrible feeling I like to warn others of like precious faith, there is only one book I’m staying with KJB and there is only one that will teach me!!

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. IJohn 2:27

Dear Nancy,I agree that God’s Word is complete and I will run from anything that contradicts it.I also love the KJV.God Bless you sister,Dan.w

    • Nancy says:

      Thank you for your blessings!
I have been reading – studying this day the word dispensation in the Bible, three places in Paul’s Epistles the word dispensation is used, I do not see the word dispensationalism at all, anytime you have ism it either is a cult or leans that way, I did not find that word in the Bible dictionary either.
In ICor. 9:17 Paul was given by God the dispensation of the gospel of Jesus Christ which is our salvation!
Ephesians 1:10 dispensation of the fulness of times, 3:2 dispensation of the grace of God. Colossians 1:25 dispensation of God given to Paul to fulfil the word of God. When I have read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and still do, it became obvious by the Holy Spirit the times leading up to Paul getting the dispensations the hidden mystery revealed to Paul. This book I read actually two of them, talking in all of this and making it sound like you couldn’t claim any promise in the old testament because all that was for the Jews, well excuse me I stand on all of God’s – the whole counsel of God’s word for his promises which he answers so magnificently in my life. If all that preceding Paul’s epistle’s is for the Jews and not us then how come Christians claim John 3:16 for salvation, and with no disrepect as if it were a magic wand for salvation! Jesus was talking to a Rabbi telling him he was the one they were looking for! Jesus and the new testament writers spoke much of the old testament, when I was reading Psalm 37 the oher day I saw where in James it speaks of the same in chapter one! I could go on but I said enough except to say when these so called Scholars write a book for filthy lurce sake adding to the word of God that makes me spiritually and physically sick!

I do not want to hurt anyone especially fellow christians!

  24. dan wessel says:

I remember, when I was saved in 1987,God had moved alot of furniture in my life to bring me to a saving knowledge of Him,and my neccesity of Christ. The moment I was saved,I had an urging from the Holy Spirit and was led to a christian bookstore and found spiritual food.Instead of milk,I had a hunger for meat, and studied the Bible vs cults. Now,I admit, the Bible I first had was a paraphrase edition, and for years,I clung to it.At that time I wasn’t able to wrap myself around the KJV.Eventhough I had read the paraphrased edition cover to cover, something was missing.I remember listening to a radio preacher talk about the KJV,and how it was God’s inspired word.I admit it took awhile, but the more I immersed myself in the KJV,the more I understood it.After awhile,I looked back and thought…what was wrong with me??this isn’t hard at all,..I understand it.I love my KJV.No…Thats not idolotry…I love Jesus the living Word.I love His written Word as well.He said we search the Scriptures and they point to Him..I believe Him.Jesus is also the Spirit of Prophecy. If He ripped the veil off the Bible for all to see its lovely framework…we would all be speechless. He uses so many different levels, ideas, ect. There are groupings of numbers, menorah designs ect, included to show us the beauty and authorship of this wonderful book. There are also Bible codes, which not for us to try and use for our selfish purposes, but to show God knows the end from the beginning.I will try never to make the Bible say whet it does not mean, but I will never when I discover something in it God has revealed to me,say it does not exist. We are not always on the same page, but I believe we are all in the same Book…and for that ..I’m very greatful. We all have at least one gift, maybe more that the Lord has bestowed on us.I hope I use mine to draw people closer, not farther away from Him.It’s amazing how, eventhough we are all on a journey in this life, with the Lord sifting and sanding our lives to conform to His likeness…we are already there…our conversations are in heaven….God Bless all of you. Dan.w

  25. dan wessel says:

I will continue to believe that dispensations are in the Bible,it may not say it spelled out in english language, surely can see it in function and form.It is the bones on which the meat hangs..a structure included in the Bible to differenciate between ages, plans,if there is a better term to use for it[a Biblical reality],I’d like to know. The word rapture doe’s not appear but that doe’s not invalidate it’s purpose or principle or author.I’m sorry if some others may have missapplied scripture or it was not taken in the spirit it was meant..however because we don’t understand something of truth at the time doe’s not make it fallacy until we do,or relegate its adherants to cult status.I will follow Scripture,as it speaks clearly and bold, without reservation, without appology, throwing mens opinions aside because it is me who will have to answer for my life to Christ and not to anothers take on truth.I’m thankful for the entire Body of Christ..even those who have differing idea’s or takes on some Scripture,…and if I’m considered in a cult for believing truth…well, that to me is a badge of honor.Thank you Jesus for all things..and..God richly Bless all you who love our Lord, brother Dan.w P.S. God’s Word is my standard ,…men’s opnions, are chaff in the wind.

    • Nancy says:

Rapture in the Latin means ‘caught up’ as it says in I Thessalonians 4: 17!

I never said you were in a cult, you are puttting words in my mouth with that!

I believe what the King James Bible says and if it is not in there than it is not of God! I do understand what you are getting at but I think too much is made of it! The KJB flows from Genesis to Revelation of Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God!!!

  26. Janine says:

    (From Sid Roth’s – It’s Supernatural website)
Is there something wrong with this John?????
“It is true there is this covenant cannot be broken because God alone will keep it, but it is not a covenant which will bring to Israel all that being born again will. That requires the New Covenant, though it does not invalidate or override God’s covenant with Abraham and his physical descendents. However, here’s where the misinterpretation come in. Those who subscribe to a “dispensationalist” doctrine see Israel’s covenant as having to do with the Land, while the New Covenant has to do with Christians and heaven. They see the Jews as inheriting the land on the earth, while New Covenant believers’ inheritance is spiritual. I suspect this doctrine is where the thinking that the Jews have “another covenant” that doesn’t require that the Gospel be preached to them comes from. This comes from a further misunderstanding that somehow the New Covenant is a “church thing” and doesn’t recognize that it was God’s covenant to Israel first, way before any non-Hebrew people were included. To see it ‘dispensationally’ is to see from man’s perspective, not God’s. God set apart a people unto Himself. Mostly it included Israel but was always open to Gentiles who wished to live with Israel and who would abide by His ways. The New Covenant threw open the doors to any Gentiles who wished to receive God’s offering of forgiveness through Jesus’ atonement AND live in such a way as to abide by His ways – to walk before Him without having to live with or under Israel’s covering. But always, Old Covenant or New, God required holiness from his people, be they jews or gentiles. In this sense, the essence of the Old Covenant maintains in the New and has not changed. To make the covenant with the Jews primarily about Land and not relationship with God is to miss the whole point of God’s heart toward them altogether.
The New Covenant, which God made with Israel (to make the point yet again), is this: “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people…. for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more” (Jeremiah 31:32, 34). The first Jewish disciples knew they were living in the fulfillment of this covenantal promise. History records that the Gentiles soon saw themselves as the custodians of this New Covenant. Gentiles have preached it to Gentiles for millennia. However, God is moving again among the Jewish people to bring them once again into a New Covenant relationship with Himself, ever since the Jews have been back in the Land He promised to them. Yes, the covenant promise of the Land is being fulfilled (despite opposition), but Jews still need salvation to be restored to fellowship with God that only the New Covenant and a born again experience with Jesus can bring about. So yes, we do need to preach the Gospel to the Jewish people. We do need to pray that “all Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:26). (It’s Supernatural website)
