John, I know you show us time and time again that Obama is making himself a laughing stock, and is getting weaker and weaker. But it appears to me that he just doesnt care. I mean a Narcisist such as he is doesn’t see it, and if he possibly sees it, it can’t possibly be true if its a negative about him. As long as he gets his adoration and golfing in, he seems to be rolling merrily along. Thats how it appears to me anyways. he reminds me of that fable we learned as a kid, where the Emperor wanted his new clothes, and the weaver pretended to weave a beautiful fabric such as no one had ever seen before, yet there really was nothing there. It seems none of us have ever seen such arrogance and non concern by a politician in our lifetime, I know I have not.
God surely chose the right man for the job. It seems strange to me in a way, that as full of himself as he is, he does not realize he is being used by God for God’s ultimate good, and one day he will be shown I guess. We should pray for the man, it won’t be allah he has to answer to, tho thats what he thinks now.
Very thankful we have this insight.
    God Bless us all,
    Joni

The two videos about Israel were very interesting. 2014 is shaping up to be a very interesting year. Hope it is the year the church leaves this world. The reprobates are on the rampage in the US. Unless God gets the church out, a civil war in America is going to happen, imo.

The Federal Reserve was created in December 1913, soon to be 100 years. I’m not sure those who created it thought they were creating a scheme that would have no ending, or whether they thought it would eventually self-destruct, but it is going to fall, and likely soon.

  3. Irene C says:

There is so much I want to say, but I’ll keep it as short as I can.

@Joni – I couldn’t have said it better. I saw that arrogance when he was first campaigning. I couldn’t understand how no one else could see it. The comparison with the Emperor and the new clothes is a good one. But then again, I could also see how people could fall under the spell of deception.

Brother John – I watch the financial news a lot during the day. Although I have nothing at stake (no money here) I like to know how the high rollers are thinking. Have you heard about or mentioned the bitcoin? (I might have missed it if you did.) The stock price in the bitcoin is rising rapidly. This is something that could be valuable in a cashless society, especially if and when the stock market crashes. This could be promoted by the NWO. (Of course the NWO will be shockingly surprised when the Antichrist takes it all over.)

Also, I believe that God provides for everything we need. I have seen this first hand considering the financial problems we have had for the past year and a half. But, now I have this instinct/feeling (whatever the right word is) to stock up on some food and supplies. Although I also feel that our Lord is coming for us soon, He might tarry. On one hand I don’t want to feel like I’m depending on myself because I know where our provisions really come from. On the other hand, although I’m not the “breadwinner” of the family, I’m the “bookkeeper” entrusted with the finances and God has put me in the position to make sure the money is budgeted right, the bills are paid, and food is on the table. I don’t believe in the “doomsday prepper” mentality that I often read about, but is it wrong to be a prepper? In my own mind I would love to help my neighbors if/when things get rough, however I would also love to leave gospel messages (and your tracts) behind with the food when we go Home. Our finances are very slowly turning around (Thank you Lord) and I have been praying about this. I would appreciate prayers concerning this.

Still praying for peace for Jerusalem. Maranatha

There’s so much going on, I’m not sure what to comment on! I will mention that I saw that article earlier from another source about the “atheists mega churches”, I thought to myself, “what a joke”, and lo and behold there it was in the article “this is no joke”! The atheists are also bent on tearing down the 911 cross from the beams left standing from that horrific day! They don’t make very good atheists if just seeing the cross gives them a headache and other ills. I believe they can’t tolerate it because they know deep in their souls that the cross represents that Jesus died for our sins, and if they believed that, they would be held accountable on judgement day. That’s what really makes them ill, is the possibility that they are wrong. What a tragedy for these people if they do not repent! 🙁

  5. Patty says:

I agree with Joni with regards to Obama’s arrogance. I feel that he will continue to go full steam ahead with Obama care and the fall of America and will do everything he can to destroy Israel. Of course, God himself will intercede where Israel is concerned. I feel Obama is evil, and like Pharaoh–in fact in Israel they refer to Obama as Pharaoh Obama–they detest him—all the comments on the newspaper sights are regarding how much they loath him and Kerry. Mr. Mcternan, you stated that you were going to comment regarding the blood red moon, i.e. 2014-2015–but not until early next spring. John Hagee has done a wonderful job already. Can’t you do something earlier? Whatever you decide, we will enjoy hearing your analysis. Something is going to happen–we have that one year period——-thanks.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

I want to sense the political economic situation early next year as I write about the blood moons.
I have a very different angle to present this.

  6. Pat says:

we are commanded to pray for him and all our leaders, whether we like them or not. Who knows if God will turn him around at the last minute and give him a “Damascas” moment. Is anything too hard for the Lord? But, it won’t happen if we don’t pray and stand in the gap, and pray God removes all the ungodly “counselors” around him

Excellent comment by Joni. Sin blinds people to their wickedness; Obama is a perfect example of this.

  9. Irene C says:

@ Lori – it’s possible that these atheists are getting sick because they’re demon possessed. The demons definitely know what the cross stands for. That could also be the reason why they have such an intense hatred for anything Christian.

Brother John – I know that you want to wait until early next year to comment on the blood moons, but just maybe we won’t be here by then. But then again, if we’re Home by then, it won’t matter to us.

@ Pat – yes we are commanded to pray for our leaders, but I agree with Brother John. We need a time of national repentance since we are under judgement. Instead of a “Damascus” moment, it has to be a “Nineveh” moment – if we can find a true preacher of the Gospel to go among the people.

However, I’m afraid that it’s too late for the U.S.; we have kicked God out of our nation and fallen too far into sin and depravity. The verse that keeps coming into my mind is Jeremiah 11:14 – “Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.” I still pray though, but I also believe that we are getting closer and closer to our going Home and I also believe that there is no U.S. (as we know it) during Daniel’s 70th week.

  10. James says:

I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ. I am a defender of his Church. After reading all of the above I believe we must watch what and how we assume what GOD is going to do with the world and his people. There are many people that try to cause GOD’s people to believe the world is coming to an end and soon. This type of person always lives in state of thought that Satan is somewhat in control, they forget that only GOD is in control. HE may allow events to take place that causes this type of person and Satan to believe they are able to know what GOD is thinking and is going to allow to happen to this world and mankind. GOD made this world and mankind, and only HE has to the power to cause events and judge the world and mankind. People have predicted the end of the world though out the beginning of time. Because GOD is in command of all things, I listen to HIM not the people who continue try to out think and out smart both GOD and Satan. I believe God will continue to bless America as long as there a 10 good and just people to stand up and defend Jesus Christ as the SON OF GOD.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

It appears that you are directing this comment to me.
I always point people to the fear of the Lord as the judgments are being unleashed on America and the world, ACCORDING TO HIS WORD.
Leaders are raised up by God and Obama is judgment on America for a church that has lost the fear of God.

Isaiah 3:1-3 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
Isa 3:4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

Also, since you volunteered your opinion of us, I would like to offer you my opinion of your comment.
You appear to be living without a deep true fear of the Lord and without knowledge of what triggers God’s judgment on a nation.
If you did, you would join us in repentance for America for the homosexuality, abortion and interfering with God’s prophetic plan for Israel.
God is in the process of destroying the nation for wickedness and you think He is blessing us.

Psalm 107:33,34 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

@Irene and Joni ~ just told my daughter a couple of weeks ago that this whole scene reminds me of nothing but The Emporer’s New Clothes !! That story kept coming back to me over and over again. Many people cannot even see what only God could have shown us so long ago .. They are absolutely clueless !! Don’t people know that he has done this on purpose to create social unrest ? Thus, he then gets to declare “Martial Law.” Hmmmmm … Gee, what a concept. Keep passing out those Last Trumpets and listen close for the real one to blow soon! I will be happy to finally meet all of you there ~ Shalom my friends 🙂

  12. Jenny says:

Someone said a few days ago that Obama is POTUS and a dictator. We should just call him “Potator!” LOL!

I love the story The Emperior Wears No Clothes! It’s perfect!

Lori, excellent point about the cross and atheists. If it didn’t bother them they’d ignore it!

John, once again, no nonsense commentary! ((((high five))))
Last week we made a trip to the army base near our home. Can I just say I was shocked at what I saw! I could not believe how in your face the homosexuals were! In uniform!! I told my husband I was actually concerned about going to the ladies room alone. A lesbian carrying an M-4….not a good combination! I needed eye salve! I know they have probably always served. But the love of country seemed priority. Now, I got the sense they were there just to prove they could. Defiance if you will. I was terribly grieved. Our nation’s finest has gone to pot.

  13. Jenny says:

Brother John, is there any significance to the timing of the new movie called “Noah?” Is it ok to post the trailer? Your decision, of course.

    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FRTlT3DEydU&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DFRTlT3DEydU

My family has not seen a movie in 15 years so I’m out of the loop as far as Hollyweird goes. But just watching this trailer really shook us up. Having a child at home, we feed her the “children’s version” and therefore miss the violent impact of this catastrophe. And it was a violent catastrophe! Could God be using this (and yes, He can use all things for His purpose) to shake the world as to what is about to unfold? He promised to not flood again but what about fire/war…? I never imagined Noah and his family facing the type of persecution this movie portrays, and I only saw 2 minutes! Could it be an encouragement for us to obey?
**i know the can of worms I’m opening here. No flames, please, it’s Friday:),

    • JohnMcTernan says:

I know nothing about this movie.
I watched the trailer and it dramatizes the Biblical account, but looks acceptable.
      God bless you

  14. Irene C says:

To anyone who is interested, I have been doing some reading on the new movie “Noah”. It is definitely a Hollyweird version. From what I have read, the reason for the flood was because man was destroying the environment and over population. What appears to be Nephilum weren’t really bad guys and helped Noah. The only “sin” is against the planet, not God. So, unless they have totally changed the script, this is a non-Biblical, liberal version of the flood and should be avoided by all means. I would recommend doing some serious research on it. IMHO

  15. Jenny says:

My opinion of course, James, but I’m ready for heaven because this world has nothing to offer me…nothing. I have no desire to have grandchildren. I have no need for adventure in traveling. I’m not loyal to sports teams or wine clubs…you get the idea. But what I do long for is unhindered worship with those who LOVE Him and others. Those who’s thoughts I’ll already know because there is no fear of rejection. Imagine, the galaxy as our playground! No more uncertainties or MIGRAINES! You’ll be surrounded by perfection and at any time you want to relish Jesus or hug His neck, or share a meal ~ He’ll beam from ear to ear. This place is NOT my home. EVEN if He tarries, this place will never be the same…tyrants, wealth redistribution, Fukushima, LACK OF LOVE! Our days of freedom are over and it makes me all the more glad bc there is nothing to desire left. When I clean lettuce from my garden, I immerse it in a bowl of water. I have to change the water frequently or the lettuce does not get clean. Nothing will fix this place and it is His Mercy that He throws out the water and starts over. PTL for our new Glorified bodies! (((Can I get an Amen!??))) ask yourself if there is a hold on your life keeping you from seeing the lateness of the hour. You might be surprised it is wrapped in fear. JMHO. Blessings!!

Right before the civil war Abraham Lincoln called the country to fast and pray, and repent. Would to GOD we had a leader who would do the same.

  17. Patty says:

I’ve been reading on several websites that people don’t think Obama will step down after his term and maybe his purging of the military and the replacement of his guys will keep anyone from removing him. I’ve often wondered how Obama will ever be able to walk away from the power he loves and his determination to destroy us and also Israel. Well, I guess, or rather know, that the Lord will remove evil Pharaoh when He chooses.. Mr. Mcternan, what is your opinion of some recent authors who say that the United States is the Babylon of end times? Thanks as always.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

America is now Babylon with its sin.
I believe the final Babylon will come to power after this coming all-out war in the Middle East.
This coming war is going to change everything on earth.

From a must-read commentary by Jerusalem Post columnist Caroline Glick:

“The developments in the six-party nuclear talks with Iran in Geneva last week signaled the end of American world leadership. Global leadership is based on two things – power and credibility. The United States remains the most powerful actor in the world. But last week, American credibility was shattered.”

  19. Irene C says:

@Jenny – you get a definite AMEN from me. So many of us are “uncomfortable” and that’s a good thing. There’s nothing left for us here anymore. We should ALL be longing to go Home. And yes, I do imagine the galaxy as our playground. 1 Corinthians 2:9 – “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

  20. Irene C says:

I just had a frightening thought that I pray I’m wrong about. As Kerry is pressuring Israel and cosying up to Iran, Dr. Greg Forbes from The Weather Channel is warning us that the month of November is considered a second season for tornadic activity. Severe storms are forecasted for Sunday, November 17, and there is currently a 50% chance of tornadoes in the Ohio valley (which includes where I live). I’m just thinking that this might be something to keep an eye on.

  21. inhisservice says:

    #13 – James

Just some frank comments about your post.

Seems to me you lack a true understanding of what the “Word of GOD” is really saying. So, you think people here are setting dates? You need to refresh your knowledge of the signs which Jesus said would be present prior to his second coming… They are all around us and getting more frequent every day (birth pains)…. The Bible is clear that we are commanded to “know” the signs of his second coming. While we are not supposed to fix a date or hour, we will know the season.

Remember, GOD does not change… He’s the same yesterday, today and forever.. While GOD does love all of his creation, by His word, he most definitely hates all the sin we are seeing in the world today. The Old Testament has many examples of His judgement on both Israel and their enemies.

So, do you believe homosexuals should be married in a church? How about the church having a homosexual pastor? What are your feelings toward Israel? Do you believe that Israel is still the “apple” of GOD’s eye? Do you think that 6 year old children should be taught about “sex” like some schools are forcing them to learn. How about abortion?

Satan is not active in the world today? Who does the Bible say comes to rob, kill, and destroy?

Do you really consider the United States is still being blessed? Have you been following the events which are happening in the world every day? Violence is increasing, the Earth is in travail, weird weather, etc. Signs of the times …

By your statements, you seem to be one of those “doubters” which the Bible says will appear in the latter days saying “where is His return”.

    Consider the following verse:

    Ezekiel 33:6 (KJV-1611)
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

Keep looking up, the King is coming soon… :->

  22. Mr. Clean says:

Amen… well said Jenny and Irene.

Looking not to kings and princes of this world, but up to the “Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. (Rev 17:14)

    Pro 25:5-7
    (5) Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
    (6) Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men:
    (7) For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.

  23. Joni says:

@Tim Shey, my hair nearly stood up on end to read about the Scholastic Book co. erasing Israel off the map. Wow. It keeps becoming apparant that each time I think I cannot be surprised anymore, I am. Surprised. Again.
@ Jenny, agreed. About this not being our home. That is why I spend little time, if any, worrying about a cancer reoccurance. At the very beginning, after being called “clean” the big worry seemed to be, “for how long?” I now am at peace with any thoughts like that, if they even enter my mind, which is not very often.
Funny how The Lord can solve those pesky problems when we ask….Amen.

I’ve been a weather watcher for years and I completely agree with your statement. I live in So.Indiana, along the Ohio River and it looks like we are in the bulls eye for the storms. I have lifted this area up many times, as we tend to have severe storms and our most damaging tornadoes, November thru January. The Lord has shown mercy more times than I can count. During severe weather I stay glued to various sites, one called, Chaser Tv and Doppler radars. I will be praying for you on Sunday and other’s who will be affected.
    Blessings….

  27. Get Smart says:

What’s Wrong With Christian Reconstructionism? As the world becomes more immoral and lawless, we see in all the major religions – Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, a strong tendency to believe that there is safety in religious law. Even within evangelical Christianity (in the conservative right) the response of many sincere Christians to liberalism, corruption by the media, and immorality, is to believe that the legalistic aspects of the Bible, particularly the Old Testament law, are a God-ordained place of security. The law, they say, represents God’s instructions to Christians. Such applies not only to raising godly families but also toward renewing, or reconstructing society in anticipation of the return of Christ.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

Before the coming of Jesus Christ the entire world is going to be given over the anti-christ.
The Lord will destroy the beasts kingdom and set up His own.
There is no such thing as Christian Reconstructionism.

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Brother John and anyone else who is interested. Pertaining to the comments about the new Noah film, I just read this article from Christian News. This reiterates what I was saying. I am still praying that they change their minds about the script but I do believe it will be a flop if they show it as is. There are a lot of people who still want to see honest Biblically-based movies.

New ‘Noah’ Film Starring Russell Crowe Flooded With Controversy

    http://christiannews.net/2013/11/17/new-noah-film-starring-russell-crowe-flooded-with-controversy/

A new Hollywood epic on the life of Noah has stirred controversy among Christians, Jews and others who have pre-screened the film, as they state that the movie largely leaves out one important foundation: the Bible.

Noah is the brainchild of producer Darren Aronofsky, who says that he has wanted to make a film about Noah and the ark since his childhood. With a $1.25 million budget, the film is said to be more of an edgy action epic that depicts a man who fights off his enemies as he prepares for a coming apocalypse, rather than a story of a “preacher of righteousness” who calls the world to repentance from sin.
