Obama is a key catalyst behind allowing Islam to come to power. God has allowed him to be relected in order to bring judgement on Islam as well as America. Of course, his administration will, in turn, be judged as Asyria and Babylon was. Do not let fear of what is coming. The worst they can do to Jesus followers is kill us. Allow what’s coming to drive us toward Christ. Job said, ” Though He slay me, I will trust in Him.”

Brother John I would really like to know your take on this article, I do NOT feel comfortable with it at all. It cements the concerns I had for my son being part of a force to go up against Israel:

Obama’s pledge of US troops to Sinai next week won Israel’s nod for ceasefire:

Now I just read this, something is not right:

‘Satellites show Iran moving quickly to rearm Hamas’:

    • JohnMcTernan says:

I have confirmed about US troops in the Sinai.
It could happen, lets wait on it.

Thank you so much for this article. Like you,I am not comfortable with our troops going into the Sinai and quite frankly,I don’t trust anything that Obama does, especially when it comes to Israel. I got that “check” in my spirit as I read the article and something tells me we need to increase our prayers for Israel and our troops,if they are deployed.

  3. Watched the video calling for Jerusalem to be Egyp’t new capital. As you put it, this is the Morsi that Obama and Hillary lauded for negotiating the so-called ceasefire. How serious is a cease-fire coming from someone who wants to make Jews and israel extinct? So, America voted for four more years of calling for Israel’s destruction. It should be interesting. Is Psalm 83 around the corner? Can’t wait to see what Obama will do.

My son is in the same boat Cynthia. I just tell him to never hurt Israel no matter what.

Some insights I found worth testing.
    Daniel 11:31
His armed forces (Islam) will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress (believers in the bible are often called the temple of God) and will abolish the daily sacrifice (believers daily sacrifice is their praise & worship to God). Then (Islam) will set up the abomination (they begin the persecution that creates rebellion/denial) that causes desolation (those fleeing the city).
Thus, the setting up the abomination IS the persecution of believers. So the believers will need to flee! Those in Judea will be first affected.
This parallels well with much of the Muslim world regarding the coming of the Mahdi, their Messiah. They say that Jesus comes and creates an army for the Mahdi to conquer the infidels.
See Daniel 11:32. With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him. The anti-christ will Favour those who rebel against the Holy covenant. See Daniel 11 33-35
Those who strive to keep Hods covenant today will be taken to a place prepared for them and kept out of reach. Revelation 12:6, 13-17
Interesting that they’re calling Mursi, Pharoah. Could this be a sign that we will shortly see the second exodus and all that goes along with that? As God seems to work in cyclical patterns.
    Matthew 24:6 (wars, earthquakes etc)
On January 25, 2011. The revolution of Egypt began. Many nations in the Muslim world followed suit in their riots against their governments. The revolutions and unrest are still active in these Muslim nations. Then we had the huge earthquake in Japan 2 months later.
Birth pains come and go but they come back harder and faster! Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith!

    • JohnMcTernan says:

The way I see the prophetic word is that God is about to destroy Islam.
Entire Muslim nations are about to disappear.
Islam is not going to take Jerusalem which is a literal city, but they are going to be destroyed.
This sets the stage for the antichrist who is not a Muslim, but according to Revelation 9 is a pagan as this is the end-time world religion.

Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

      • Keith O. says:

What will happen countries like Indonesia or Pakistan? If they’re not involved in the fighting, will they just renounce islam and search for another god since their’s just got defeated by Jehovah? They would all have to renounce islam together, otherwise those who don’t give it up would kill those who did. I’d be interested in hearing possible scenarios on this.

I don’t understand how Egypt can be desolate for 40 years….is this during the millineum? How can that be? God will make a new earth. the tribulation is only 7 – when do the 40 years come in?

    Blessing to you,

They will be scattered during the early part of the Lord’s reign and He will then bring them back.

  7. I knew it would not take along for Egypt to come up against Israel. It was a trick to reload for war. Israel wants peace so bad they seem to believe the enemy .
Israel needs to just go in and take care of business. I felt they should of never stopped and just destroyed Hamas while they were already in.
God be with Israel and protect His people and all the born again believers

On the video of Egypt the flag they are flying shows a fist and the no’s 15 and a 5 below it. What do those numbers mean. The Lord has showed me that 5/15 and 15/5 have meaning. Can you explain?

I am wondering if the Coptic Christians in Egypt will be saved when Egypt is destroyed, or will they be martyred. They have had much persecution already. I pray for their strength and perserverance. We in the US are spoiled, not having to hide our faith or risk our lives for it. Currently, though, our religious freedom IS being eroded, and I pray that we will stand strong and that there will be a revival of faith in our nation.

The verse in my heart today is Paul’s, “To live is Christ; to die is gain.”I think of how the early Chritians were jailed and crucified, yet they kept believing. Sometimes God intervened and an angel opened the doors, but other times He did not come to the disciples’ rescue.[ I prayed for 2 (Christian) friends who had colon cancer. One was healed, but the other passed away.] I don’t understand His will, but I am trying to believe it is all for good. His will be done. Amen.

I wonder how Revelatiion 12 is interpreted? Perhaps the Antichrist (serpent) tries to wipe out physical Israel (If Israel is the woman who gave birth to Jesus). And because God supernaturally protects Israel, the antichrist is furious and so goes after spiritual Israel (Israel’s offspring – believers in Jesus in the rest of the world).
    Revelation 12:13-17
    The Woman Persecuted
13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Obviously eschatology is an area where Christians may legitimately differ, as long as we stick to the Bible, not the latest world developments, as our sole authority. To a certain extent, we look on end-times prophecy “through a glass darkly.” But in Gods word, Peter assured Christians that in the first coming of Christ, we have the word of prophecy made more sure – substantiated, proven, and made absolutely clear – by its fulfillment (2 Peter 1:16-21).
The same will be true for the second coming of Christ and the end of the age. The true and full meaning of end-times prophecy will only become clear in its fulfillment, from the perspective of glory. But as we wait and watch, of one thing we can be absolutely sure: God always keeps His promises. Jesus is coming again to receive His own and to judge the world. Glory awaits the believer, and everlasting punishment awaits the unbeliever.

Many times I have cried over the US’s stance on Israel as well as the US itself. The Lord always reminds me ALL THINGS are in His hands and in
His timing; so I rejoice and again rejoice. He taught me many years ago to always praise Him no matter the situation–good or bad–because it gives Holy Spirit the freedom to move in every situation. The Lord, alone, is our hope and our salvation.

A friend said “I don’t see much likely hood of a ground invasion happening in December which would be required for the Ezekiel war. December is winter and it is usually cold and wet. Spring is the time “when kings go out to war”. (2Sa 11:1 & 1Ch 20:1). The seasonal considerations may be one of the significant reasons why Israel didn’t launch a ground offensive part of Operation Pillar of Cloud. The risk of literally being bogged down would be a growing consideration, especially for a protracted campaign”.
