  2. You may have already covered this but i just saw again the video clip of obama at his inaugaration where he talks about gays being included in everything. What struck me was his comment that. We should be able to love anyone we want. He didnt say they. He said we. Which would imply that he included himself as part of the gay community. Did anybody else notice this???

  3. Catherine says:

Is anyone else physically sickened by this?

It literally makes my stomach turn. Are there any others who feel this way?

    • JohnMcTernan says:

I have great sorrow in my heart watching the nation melt away because of sin.

  4. Catherine says:

Thank you, Dr. John, for speaking the truth.

  5. Lori says:

I have been grieving the America that once was!!! I’ve mentioned this before, but my husband and I mainly watch the old 50’s show on DVD, and they represent a much moral society….I have nice memories of those days, even though I wasn’t born until 1957. Last week I was posting a few scriptures and commenting on an article about same sex marriage, and one of the people there said I sounded like I have violent tendencies, and compared me to the Son of Sam serial killer, WOW….was I ever shocked to see that said about me. It all draws me closer to the Lord though, so that is the good coming out of it in my life! I always pray for you all here, may this all draw us closer to Him, Lord bless everyone here.

  6. Lori says:

John, I certainly agree that it’s a great possibility!!!!

  7. sylvia says:

How do you know this he is bisexual??? and does she his wife know ! What a sick society and I just wish God will intervene soon! I am so sad about all of this Please God do something from Sylvia in Australia!

  8. joyrosy says:

Breaking news from Australia: the Australian Labor Party right when they’ve heard that they are so electorally unpopular that there would be a landslide against them, have got rid of our current Prime Minister Julia Gillard (atheist, feminist, unmarried, childless and living with boyfriend Tim) and replaced him with our former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd (evangelical Christian and family man). I am thankful that we have a Christian leader for our nation, if only for the few weeks before the election. The Hard Left in Australia is only allowing a Christian to be leader because of their desperate situation in the polls.

  9. Cynthia says:

Just heard that the Supreme Court has ruled that DOMA is unconstitutional:( Like you Brother John, I have great sorrow in my heart.

  10. Jennifer says:

I’m crushed that the Supreme Court ruled DOMA Unconstitutional. God help us. Everyday this nation gets further away from the godly truths on which we were founded.

  11. Nancy says:

With the headlines just in ‘time is no more for America’ does not surprise me at all!
Obama said he was going to shove it down our throats!

  12. Peggy says:

    Hi Lori,

I was born in 1943, so I have a great many memories of when this country was a great place to be. Those were good days. Too bad I didn’t realize at the time that I should have been appreciating them more. Never dreamed that things would ever get to be the way they are now. Like everyone else, just figured that things would just go on, same as usual. My heart aches for my grandsons, growing up in this day and age.
I’m not in the least surprised by the Supreme Court’s decision, but am beyond saddened about what will come next. We are way past the point of judgement, and the Lord’s patience must be stretched to the max.

    Come Lord Jesus

  13. Lori: Don’t be so defensive per the comment by the one who accused you of “sounding like you have violent tendencies.” Your response, in love, could just as easily been…”your rely to me sounds rather pointed, accusing and without evidence. How is that any different?”

  14. Melany says:

Yes, Catherine, I feel physically sickened by all this, also. It’s like a lead weight all around. ‘Just watched the documentary “Agenda: Grinding Down America.” They also express total shock over how quickly this has happened (the deterioration of our culture), and that this is war with God. I am praying every day for strength and protection. As it seems we are looked upon as 2nd, 3rd, or 4th class citizens anymore, please remember David had similar feelings (Psalm 37). Our hope is in Heaven, not on this earth.

I’m surviving this by getting rid of as much junk in my life as I can and staying close to God. I am a sheep and there is only One Good Shepherd, and I have to commit to following Him. We are at the end of world history and there is much stress. Honestly, there are some days I don’t want to get out of bed in the morning! Keep following our Good Shepherd. We are headed to the most beautiful, glorious destination.

  15. Jenny says:

I believe and have often stated that everything coming out of BO is do to something in his past…ie illegal immigration (I don’t think he is eligible for Pres for various reasons). Changing LGBT laws for more inclusion (his sexuality and tranny nanny). His unwavering support for single mothers (his dad was absent). His gutting military (disdain for all things honorable). I’m guessing he was tormented as a child for being biracial, unathletic, abandoned…he is making us pay for his hurt. If it were not for Jesus, we may be in his exact same reprobate mind.

It’s off the cuff right now but I believe we are dealing with his personal demons as a nation. When/if he is found to be I eligible for POTUS, it won’t matter bc he will be a legal status thanks to immigration bill rammed down our throats.

This is pure speculation. I’m so thankful that my citizenship is in Heaven and my Father is LOVE. This circus act is almost over.

Begging for God’s Mercy today seems grossly understated.

  16. GaryB says:

It is a great day! God’s judgment on amerika is advancing. The wicked are closer to Hell than ever before. We are closer than ever to the return of Jesus for His Church! Amerika might be finished, but the Saints are about to all be at home with God!

    • JohnMcTernan says:

Please line your heart with God’s and then you will have His power as a witness.
      Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked;
but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

  17. Ryan Thomas says:

Hi everyone, At one point, in the not so distant past, if the rapture would have happened, it would have really impacted the world, and especially the US greatly, just by the number of people instantly gone, that were all over the place. Now with fewer and fewer remnant saints, and the feverish pace of purging us from lots of areas, like the military, government, schools, corporations, banks, Boy Scouts, all sorts of jobs, even churches, our disappearance might not appear to be a big event anymore. It could much more easily be explained away now. Like, oh good, that dyeing breed of haters is gone now.
It might be a rather smooth transition now. That might be one reason satan has been working so hard to purge saints and conservatives from everything, so when we’re called up, there won’t be many empty spots in his control system.
It’s like they are training new personnel for the soon coming retirement of others, like businesses do.
Today, we still have some love, and some truth, what an ugly place it will be, with very little of them.
Just some thoughts I had today.
    Love to all.

  18. sparrow59 says:

For those of you having a hard time believing Obama is gay, check out Hillbuzz website. It’s run by a gay conservative, but he pulls no punches when it comes to Obama.

  19. Brendon says:

Look at what Obama said the following after the Supreme Court decision on gay marriage. We are not in a moral freefall, folks. We jumped off the cliff tied to a two ton boulder!

“I applaud the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the Defense of Marriage Act. This was discrimination enshrined in law. It treated loving, committed gay and lesbian couples as a separate and lesser class of people. The Supreme Court has righted that wrong, and our country is better off for it.”

Tell that to Sodom and Gommorrha, Mr. President. America as we have known it is gone, folks. Read Romans Chapter 1. It is the timeline of a society who rejects the truth of God for a lie.

I am grieved and fearful over our nation and the deserved judgements that await us. We have reached the tipping point and are now beyond the point of no return.

  20. Barbara in VA says:

Ryan and others: Your comment has just about confirmed for me that there is a book I must recommend. I hope that John will not object to this. You mentioned the impact of perhaps millions of people instantly gone with lots of speculation about what happened to those people. This implies a rapture that will leave people to wonder what happened to these missing people–somewhat like in the Left Behind books.

The book I want to recommend is “Earthquake Resurrection” by David Lowe. The author of this book is definitely pre-trib rapture as I am and have been for years and years. So, this book does not argue against a pre-trib rapture. He does, however, present a very different picture than most of us have been led to believe about what will happen at the rapture. Based on very deep Biblical study, the author has come to an amazing conclusion. According to Biblical records concerning resurrections, there were earthquakes involved. From his studies, the author concludes that when those saints who are “asleep” are raised, or resurrected, it will cause world-wide earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, etc. with devastating results, such as described in Rev. 6:12-17. This would mean that there would be so much death and destruction just from the resurrection of the dead that possibly nobody would even think about that this may be the rapture.

I’ve developed a totally new opinion about what will happen at the rapture because of this man’s study. The sad thing is that it means there will be no second chance for salvation for so very many people. That means that today and now is the time to make a decision to give ourselves totally to God’s will for our lives and to be a witness while there is still time!

    Psalm 91:4
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

  21. Ryan: Your comment today is likened to the rear view mirror on the right side of our vehicles, “the object behind you is closer than it may appear”:) Your thoughts are not off base.

    Dr. Jstark

  22. Jenny says:

I keep checking back here with you guys today. I’m just overwhelmed with grief that I want to be with those who are like minded. I just can’t wrap my mind around the ugliness. The absolute in-your-face rebellion we are witnessing debilitates me.

Barbara…I found that point of view about the rapture causing earthquakes absolutely fascinating! Thank you for sharing!

  23. Jenny says:

Ahhhh…hubby just walked in (sad day that I have to specify I am married to a male…anyway…) I shared with him the idea about the rapture causing earthquakes, tsunamis… And it reminded us that every time something breaches our atmosphere “canopy” albeit a rocket, satellite, meteor etc…within a few hours to a few days, we have a massive earthquake! Awesome!

  24. Cyndi says:

Clearly, Jesus’ words are coming to pass more everyday. As Christians we know that the wicked will wax worse and worse before He returns. Praise God we are closer to seeing The Lord! This world is evil, but our hope is in Jesus. God is on His throne with almighty power. He knows what is going on and is allowing it. In my heart I knew this was going to happen. Because things WILL get worse. We have an evil leader with an unclean spirit full of lies and deceipt. He had a spirit of antichrist. Yes, we are grieved in our spirits over what is happening because God said we that love Him will hate evil. And our society at large has become grossly evil. But we have a blessed hope Christ, our Lord, Faithful and True will comfort us and give us a peace that this world could not understand. Lets endure with confidence that we will be with our Savior and we will come back with Him when He destroys satan and the wicked. We have victory!!

  25. Deeann says:

Barbara, add to what you said all that we know about the “Ring of Fire” of volcanos, the possibility of a Supervolcano like Yellowstone, and the San Andreas Fault line, and I can see many people gone in an instant. The Left Coast may very well be gone soon, esp. now that CA has this SCOTUS ruling. I remember someone asking why San Francisco, Seattle, etc. haven’t had an Oklahoma City-like disaster, but as this is a huge moment and all eyes are on this region, perhaps now is the time. They are financially and morally bankrupt.
I do, however, believe that there will be a 2nd chance for salvation, but these “Triblation Saints” will have to suffer greatly and then ask, “How long, O, Lord?” until their blood is avenged. But if a disaster kills you before you’re saved, yes, it is too late. Better to Accept and Believe in Christ (as easy as ABC :)) now, don’t you think? All bondage, including LGBT can be overcome..”The Truth will set you free..” but many are too comfortable in their sin and don’t want to hear/believe the truth, so they stay in bondage. It’s a Stockholm Syndrome, where they defend/justify/finde loopholes in the sin, rather than try to escape it. We all do it when we are in sin. I am so thankful, so in absolute AWE of Him, Who forgave me of my sins. (Our society has so overused “awesome” and “amazing,” and I HATE the OMG-it’s His name in vain!) I pray that many in these last days will come to know the One Who can save them and see what “Awesome” truly is. Dear LGBT friends who may stop by this blog: I love you. I know there is deep hurt and feelings of rejection in your life. These are the devil’s tools, not God’s. I don’t judge you or hate you, but like a loving mother who has to sometimes tell her child “no” for the child’s own good, our Heavenly Father says no to this lifestyle. He formed you in His Image and He loves you enough to sacrifice His Son for you. He does not want to be separated from you, but, ultimately, He is Holy, and, while all sexual sin is sin, this specific sin is called an abomination. He made you for a purpose, male and female, He created us. When we g against our nature and His plan for us, we hurt Him.It’s like having the scupture telling the sculptor s/he’s made a mistake. He is the Potter; we are the clay. He wants to give us so much, but, like a toddler we want our own way, and there is now a conflict. When we turn away from Him, like the ancient Hebrews, we have chaos and confusion, but when we return to Him, He runs to meet us and calls for a celebrations, so much does He love us and wants to reconcile with us, bless us, forget the past, and have an intimate relationship with Him. The hard part, in all our human-ness, is loving ourselves. We feel guilt and shame and self-loathing (beentheredonethat)until we finally realize, “Hey, He said He made me a little less than the angels, in His Image. I am the mirror image of I AM! He lives in me. Wow! AWESOME!AMAZING!!!
Remember to, that with Him, we are “more than conquerors”and can do anything through Him and in Him, including turning our back on sin. God Bless

  26. Cynthia says:

Thank you Barbara for sharing that as I have often wondered if people who were left behind would truly know what happened to the people who suddenly disappeared. If that were the case that people would know the rapture happened, of course it would open MANY eyes and change people in an instant. However, I too do not believe that it will be so obvious to those whose hearts were already hardened. I’m sure satan will have a very good explanation as to what happened to the “missing” people. I think God will hand them over to believe a lie because they made that choice in the first place. I’m just speculating here, maybe there is something more concrete in the bible about this.

  27. Cynthia says:

The rate that our religion freedoms are being stripped is much quicker than I ever imagined (and I imagined what I thought was the worst):

  28. Bruce says:

In my home city of Pittsburgh, there were some bad storms last night…and there was a rally downtown today for people to celebrate the DOMA strike down…coincidence? NO!

  29. Barbara in VA says:

Hi Deeann: I also believe there will be a second chance for salvation during the tribulation period. I think we are on the same page there. What I intended to point out is that if the earthquakes/etc. scenario does takes place at the rapture, many people who have not yet asked Jesus into their hearts will be killed in the disasters. No second chance for those people. That is why I was emphasizing that now is the time to witness since we have no way of knowing who may survive these possible disasters. That is what saddens me so–those who may be on the verge of accepting Christ, or repenting of those horrible sins may not live for that second chance!

  30. Barbara in VA says:

Cynthia–I did not see your comment until after I posted my response to Deeann. After reading this book (am working on the second reading of it), it suddenly dawned on me that in the event of the earthquake/tsunami, etc. disaster during the rapture, that not only would Christians be missing but maybe thousands of people buried under rubble, washed away in a tsunami, so much so that missing people would not be a surprise. Again, this is what breaks my heart–to think of people losing their lives without another chance in this type of event because they were putting off making a decision to follow our Lord.

Also, Cynthia, I want to say that you are such an inspiration to me. God bless you my sister in Christ!

ABOMINATION: National Cathedral Rings Bells to Cheer Gay Marriage

One more sign we are moving quickly toward the “end of the age”…

Today, Satan is also rejoicing as he continues to destroy God’s family unit as described in His word.

Keep looking up, the King is coming.

  32. Cynthia says:

A slap in God’s face (when Brother John says the church is dead, he has been spot on, this article will chill you):

National Cathedral Rings Bells to Cheer Gay Marriage:

WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — The National Cathedral is pealing its church bells, along with some other Washington churches, to celebrate the Supreme Court’s decisions on gay marriage.

Cathedral spokesman Richard Weinberg said the bells rang at noon Wednesday for 45 minutes to an hour. Bells also rang at other Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian, Unitarian and other Christian churches……..

Barry Soetoro (aka bho) being bisexual is a stretch! More like a 100 percent Fairy!
    The ‘lifestyle’ is repulsive!

  34. rjnvpn says:

If anyone doubts Obama’s sexual leaning then listen to the archived interview on the Hagmann and Hagmann Report. It was with Larry Sinclair, an admitted homosexual, who details his fling with the Pres. of the U.S. before he was elected. I believe the radio program was 6.13.13; you can read the show details, but look for the interview with Larry Sinclair. He also authored a book about it, the title is something like “Sex, Lies and Murder”……There’s plenty of other evidence to prove that Obama is definitely Bi – no doubt about it.

  35. Melany says:

Ryan Thomas ~ That was very interesting! I’m sure the ‘world’ will be more than glad to see us gone, and I will be more than glad to be gone! All I know is Jesus is right on schedule. It goes through my mind sometime ….. how long will we be free to even post on forums such as this. This is the country that I’ve loved with all my heart!! I’m a big fan of talk radio and love hearing other people’s comments/opinions. If something is disagreeable to me, I don’t listen. Now I’m seeing this country in a great divide. Satan is a liar and a murderer, and he wants to destroy as many lives as he can before his time is up. He takes everything that is good & decent and perverts and sullies it. He has hated marriage and the family from the very beginning. He knows he can’t ultimately win but he will take down as many with him as he can. I believe we are facing severe judgment as a nation. I am praying fervently that as many people as possible see through the lies and deception & look to Jesus as their stronghold and help. I know my life will never go back to the way it once was, but that’s ok. All of us are here at this time in history because God wants us here. Abba, Father, please fill me with compassion for those who don’t know you. This world is dying. Jesus is light of the world. ‘Praying that many more find Him as their Savior. We are almost out of time.

  36. B. Ross says:

In the Church in America today, we have tolerated injustice and crime through ‘weakness’. We tolerate sin by excusing it and making light of it. Every unpunished murder in our country ‘must’ be punished in blood. Every injustice must be overturned. God’s justice demands this. If what we see out in the world does not harmonize with what we see in the ‘WORD’, we (America) are headed for judgment. This judgment must begin at the house of the Lord.

1 Peter 4:16-17 says, “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”

It seems that much of American Christianity is under the judgment of God. The ominous sign of this is that our [Church] leaders show no disposition to be sorry for sin. Sin in the church is not judged or condemned; rather, it is excused. I believe we are living in a generation that is un-rebuked. Have we come to the point in this generation where we no longer can be ashamed by anything? This generation is among the most un-chastised, arrogant and presumptuous people. Everyone does that which is right in his own eyes.

    Excerpts from A.W. Tozer (1897-1963)

  37. Mary E. says:

Thanks to my dear friend, Barbara in Va., I too, have read the book “Earthquake Resurrection” and it shook my world up…no pun intended! I have studied prophecy for 43 yrs. and I have to say, the book totally change my perception of the Rapture. I have come to realize that we must see prophecy through God’s eyes and not our own interpretations. God desires to show us His plans, if we are willing to step out and receive it. This is why I am so thankful that the Lord led me to this blog over 3 years ago and to other’s who are standing for truth and the correct interpretation of prophecy.

  38. Chad says:

If you are interested in viewing earthquake activity, may I suggest using the USGS web site that tracks earthquakes at the following link: as you can view a map of the world and set the level of earthquakes by selecting various options. The number of earthquakes in the past couple of weeks has been low (~60) after previously being somewhat high (~90) and according to the map around the US earthquake activity has been eerily low. I’m using the options to view the world map at 4.5 magnitude over the past 7 days.

  39. Irene C says:

Thank you Brother John for standing up for the Truth. I would have posted sooner, but we’ve had storms coming through that I was keeping track of. There seems to be a lot of storms lately. I also grieve for what we’ve lost here. I remember the 50’s and still watch the shows and movies from that time. But I believe that maybe our Lord is making us uncomfortable in this world so that we will be longing more for his coming for us. I know that I so long for Him and that I want to go Home. Maranatha.

  40. Pamela says:

To add to this idea of the Rapture coming with global natural disasters…. There will also be MANY “Christians” that aren’t taken up. There are many many people going to these churches that are pro homosexuality, pro gay marriage, pro abortion and anti Israel whose members won’t be going anywhere. Truly, it will be hard to verify the event as the Rapture under these circumstances for anyone but real believers.
God bless and keep looking for our Lord’s appearance,

  41. Mary Ann Labreche says:

Thank you John and all who posted. I downloaded the book Earthquake Resurrection via Amazon Prime, so I can borrow it for free. Its a bittersweet thing; exciting knowing at any moment we are going Home but then very sad knowing many loved ones left behind along with countless others. Reach as many as we can while we still can, amen?
In His amazing love & grace,
    Mary Ann

  42. Ryan Thomas says:

Thanks everyone, I highly value the thoughts, comments, info, testimonys, words, and lives of other saints. Love to all those that call Jesus Lord.

[…] “Transgender people have served this nation with pride, honor, and distinction – and continue to do so in the hundreds, if not thousands.”Really? Somehow, I find that difficult to believe. How many soldiers have you seen who are a mix between a man and a woman? John McTernan is absolutely right in stating that the Lord has raised Obama up as a tool to bring judgment on America for its open rebellion against Him, and it is indeed very painful to watch.
