The church is weak and anemic in America. I believe our Lord is separating the wheat from the chaff in the church. Of course that will also happen by persecution. It is inevitable, unless we return to seek the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul. Yet this will not sheild us from persecution ” Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution 2 Timothy 3:12
Stay strong in the Lord and, as we used to say in the Navy during rough weather, ” Stand bye for heavy rolls.”

It appears NYC “may” be in the bullseye for this superstorm, according to the latest gfs model:

    • JohnMcTernan says:

WE just have to watch and see what happens.

    • Mary E. says:

I have been watching this, too and the Weather Channel has said that if this storm hits the mid-Atlantic coast,it will happen on the anniversary of the Perfect Storm of ’91. First, a hurricane hits NO on the anniversary of Katrina and now it may happen again on the East coast. This bears watching and prayer is a top priority.

I am struggling with voting this time. I know where the current administration stands (on every subject) and how they REALLY feel about Israel.
I know Romney is an old friend to Netanyahu and said he will stand with Israel, but yet, he says he supports a 2 state solution, like Netanyahu does. (…if it would bring peace, but we know it never could–so do they REALLY support a 2 state solution?)

I REALLY don’t want to see Obama get the presidency again, but is it wrong to vote for Romney, just to vote AGAINST Obama? I feel like if I DON’T vote for Romney, it will JUST like a vote FOR Obama.

I know Romney is a mormon and that he believes completely different than us. I reason with the fact that in the past, we’ve had to vote for men of good character, yet who were non-Christians…would this be different?

Finally, I am also struggling that if I do vote for Romney, (and even if he really wins) that the election will stolen…then all of my struggles would have been for nothing.

I know the election will barely make a difference on the final outcome for our nation or Israel, but I do wonder if it will help things not be as bad, as fast. I realize that we are living in the last days and that no election results will stop the plans of God.

See how much I am struggling? Please give me your opinion on this.
I just want to do the right thing and when I stand before God, I don’t want Him to be disappointed in me in any way.

@K.A. Yes…i feel exactly the way u do!!! I know I will have to give an answer for my vote…i honestly dont know what to do.

This storm is looking like a massive judgment….they are calling it ‘frankenstorm’ and the ‘perfect storm’…

k.a.~ I am struggling with this election, too. I can never accept a two-state ‘solution’. I also can’t accept homosexuality, abortion, attack on Biblical marriage, etc. To be truthful, I may not vote at all. I’m still praying about this. Hubby and I having many late-night discussions.
John, thank you for posting all these news stories. I’d never find them on my own. Re: the first story (Anti-Zionists Stage Trial Farce) – I read that, looked at the people involved, & saw the same hands that pick up the rock to throw & maim; the same hateful decisions made to launch rockets into Israel. Evil can’t be dressed up & made to look civilized. Evil finds its own group and bands together.
I don’t know what we’re going to go through in this world together before Yeshua comes, but I am praying with all my heart that I never compromise my principles; that I stand for what is right, no matter what it costs me. God has been so good to me. I make many mistakes in this life and I’m trying to correct what I can and forgive myself for what I can’t, but I will always believe God’s Word, I will always stand with Israel and God’s people, and I will always keep looking up for His return because …”My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:2)

      I am struggling also.
I will vote for senator etc, but still up in the air about president

I wonder when this storm was named and were there any significant anti-Israel/unholy things that may have caused it.

    • Mary E. says:

The names of the storms are picked before the hurricane season starts, starting with A-Z. I have been searching or anything that may tie into this particular storm, but have found nothing so far. Maybe things are going on in secret that we are not aware of,yet. Watching the Weather Channel,I also found it interesting that they say they have never observed the forming of a system like this. The hurricane of ’91 never hit land directly. This system may combine a nor’eastern with a hurricane that will make land fall. We may be watching history in the making.

Forgot to add in my last comment that it is being reported that this storm could interfere with the Presidential elections.

I too have labored in prayer. The one thing I keep going back to is that I have to do whatever I can to protect babies. Romney may not help, but if President Obama is re-elected, I fear he may find a way to legalize partial birth abortions and that is too horrific for me to even consider. I personally feel I have to do anything I can to at least keep this ground we’ve won. The one thing God knows is my heart in this, so even though it concerns me that Romney is a Mormon, I have to stand up for those babies. This is my conviction as well as Romney’s determination to stand with Israel, even if he’s misguided now. Even if he isn’t in a position to hear from God, the leaders in Israel can change their minds and I think he’ll go with them. This is my heart, but each person has to follow how God is leading their’s. God bless you all for praying and determining to follow Him!!

Libya exposes the cold character of Obama, despite all the smiles, theres a cold heart in there. This is how Obamacare if allowed will ultimately be run, with the same coldness of its originator. There is no loyalty or love for America in him, only cold indifference, but on the other hand a warm, fondness and loyalty to Muslim people. Anyone can see the difference, its so obvious. Everything about Obama is obvious, but purposely hidden and ignored. God help the elderly, because he has no mercy. Contrast with M Romney who has gone out of his way to help others, being lead by a compassionate heart. When his partner’s 14 yr old daughter went missing He closed down the entire firm and asked all 30 partners and employees to fly to New York to help find his friend’s daughter. Romney set up a command center and hired a private detective firm to help with the search. He established a toll-free number for tips, coordinating the effort with the NYPD, and went through his Rolodex and called everyone he knew in New York, and asked them to help find his friend’s missing daughter. Romney’s accountants put up posters on street poles, while cashiers at a pharmacy put fliers in the bag of every shopper. Romney and his employees scoured every part of New York and talked with everyone they could – prostitutes, drug addicts – anyone. Long story short, they found the girl and she was returned to her father. Contrast that with how Obama handled Libya, actually going to sleep in the midst of it all. Can you see Romney doing that? Is this who we want overseeing the affairs of our loved ones? Or fellow Americans? This man needs to get out of America. He’s a liar and a fraud, and dangerous to the freedoms we hold dear. We can do something, we can pray and we can VOTE!

To those of you who wrote that you are struggling with this election, we have to get this vile, traitorous monster out of office. we’re not voting for a religious leader or pastor we are voting for a head of state. we are going to give an account of how we treated Israel and if we let the current administration stay in power we will answer for it. the choice is clear
