Outrage against Christians: Public schools in US shun Christianity, welcome Islam

My pastor has said, “I will probably go to jail, but mickey mouse could do a better job in the white house than the reprobate we have there now.”.

I would hate to see my pastor go to jail for speaking the truth, and I know that other pastors in our community would not stand with him. Too many of the pastors and churches in our area are eliminating Sunday School, mid-week service and Sunday evening service. On Wednesday evenings on my drive home from church there are five ‘Christian’ churches that have empty parking lots and the churches are dark. Why?

Jesus must be so grieved by the indifference to His love and command to ‘gather together’.

    Hi John,
I am bewildered at the lack of outspoken outrage by our pastors as well. It is as if a sleepy, anesthesia-like spell has been cast on the church. …everyone wants to be comfy. I did pray openly at a church prayer meeting repenting and asking forgiveness on behalf of the nation and was brushed off; I felt an air of discomfort-I was apparently very out of step. I did have a pastor declare from the pulpit that as Christians we ought not get involved in “worldy” affairs and cited Romans 13 and 1st Peter 2:12-14. He further said we should be like the early church model and spend our energies spreading the gospe. And this is at a very well known Bible teaching “non denominational” church franchise. This seems to be the common opinion. There is a lie in there somewhere – could you elaborate?

I want to vomit when I hear this.
I see it as cowardliness in the face of God’s enemies.
He would fit in real nice with the church under Nazi Germany.
He would not stand against slavery.
When the jack booted government thugs have a bayonet at this throat, then don’t look for help and endure the punishment.
His statement shows a huge lack of the fear of God.

What you stated sounds like a new cult that is sweeping America. It is called “Ancient Future Faith”. Their motto is to not get involved in politics and worldly affairs and they have eliminated traditional music with heavy metal; they have eliminated Sunday School and Bible Studies. It is a growing cult in California and is spreading. Their claim to fame is that they want to draw in the ‘young people’ and the traditional, Bible teaching is outdated.

They are going back to the ancient times and claim the Bible is obsolete in it’s teachings.

When I first heard it advertised on one of our Christian radio channels, The Holy Spirit really opened my mind to the false teaching that they were proclaiming. It is the last days,

I think you should run away from that church as fast as you can. I pray that God will lead you to the church where He wants you to thrive and grow.

I was in a church that was dead, I felt like I was sitting in a morgue. Finally, out of desperation I went home one Sunday after church and said, “Lord, I am not going back to church until you show me which one you want me to go to.”

That Saturday, I came home from shopping and found a Tract on my front door. It was from a Baptist Church that I was not aware of. I went to that Church and have been there since that day. The teaching is strictly Bible and the people are so loving it is hard to explain. So you see, God answers prayer. Ask Him to point you in the right direction and He will answer.

The below article is when I first understood Islam had U.S. EDU in their cross hairs.

Many public school administrators have sold out their community for money {REGUARDLESS OF WHERE IT COMES FROM} in the name of BETTER SCHOOLS.

From my Desart Shield expierence I learned GREEN usually is tied to Saudi Arabia/Islam. For the last two years in SW Florida I have seen green shirts/jerseys on a few grade school ball team members. One young fellow allowed me to read the sponsors message. It was for the outreach of a local Muslim charity. The young man didn’t know or care what it meant – but super happy for all the freebies.

P.S. When I got back from Desert Shield I went thru my closet and deleted every GREEN garment! Still refuse to go green or buy anything suggesting “GOING GREEN”

I see another kind of sword coming, and its really been here all along: “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law” (Mt 10:34-35).”

Britain and N America, among other nations, too, would not have been as we’ve known them, if it hadn’t been for the Reformation Martyrs, or rather, the God who empowered them to be faithful unto death. Even so, all along, every person born again of the Spirit finds themselves cut off by that sword from even their closest relatives and church acquaintances: but the Lord graciously allowed time for the gospel to work in our midst, and to go to all nations through our much blessed countries.

Given all the other signs now rapidly falling into place, it would be very strange indeed if things carried on as they have done for the past 450+ years, re the balance of tolerance between Church and State. God’s basic edict to the world throughout all that time has been ‘Repent, and believe in my beloved Son, Jesus Christ, for he has risen from the dead and is coming to judge the world (Ps 2; Acts 17:30ff). To quote: “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

So, it seems its time for Him to act. The ‘giving over’ process is setting the scene for Jesus’ return. New Age spirituality and all the other signs of apostasy are now irreversible: if the Bible is true, God must surely have an eye on his prophetic clock, and the time of reckoning is emerging into view right now. Oh, and uh, his saints are not going to be exempt from persecution, and if they lived godly lives, they never really were, although its been fairly mild hereabouts in recent times.

A lady I know kindly responded to the sight of a children’s book I’m writing about the natural world (its for ‘children of all ages’) by saying, ‘we need this in the schools’. She is, I would say, a nominal Christian, but went on to tell me her little son goes to a Church of England school, but for p/c reasons, the children are taught about all the other religions and end up confused: this in a remote part of rural England!

The typical modern liberal citizen in charge of our children is going to be interested in ‘Diversity’ and ‘Inclusion’ – even if they have Christian cultural leanings, they are not going to have the spiritual knowledge and conviction to buck the trend. Even in my own 1940-50s childhood, it was ‘Christian’, but only nominally so. In my view, its only God’s Church, as individuals, working within all levels of society, that we are going to see what we all want to see: a clear, biblical, godly perspective, designed to be life-changing in Christ. That must be our focus – if nightfall hasn’t already descended upon us – it must be pretty close!
