Wow!!!!,brother John.I can connect the dots as re;Leviticus 18;24.God is NOT mocked as the mockers and the ‘false church’ will find out. This could be the real church’s finest hour as we were born specifically for this time.We do not relish the ever increasing judgments or their implications on the unbelieving.Of course,as long as we are still here,it could have varying degree’s of implications for us as well.God haters are also those who have little use for us as His kid’s as well.We are in the Lord’s hand.Seeing as we were ‘born for this time’,let us seek the Lord’s guidance so we may be used by Him,as opposed to the world’s ruler who just uses, then throws away his shills.God bless each of you who love and serve Christ, our maker and redeemer.

    Brother John,

Recently I read an article about ‘grave suckers’ who are functioning in Portland Oregon. This is supposedly a new ‘church’ where the congregants go to grave yards and find graves of dead Christians. They lay down on top of the grave and suck the faith out of the bones buried in those graves. They actually believe they can do this.

Brother, the sickness in this nation is almost too much to take. Will a major quake really wake those up who live through the shaking? Will the scales fall from their eyes? Will God shake them awake? I wonder……….

  3. Catherine says:

I know that you tried to speak up for the unborn in Harrisburg. Have you seen the new video on “Planned Parenthood” selling unborn babies’ body parts? How much longer will the Lord put up with this?

  4. Kristi says:

Dear Brother John. I am a regular visitor to your blog and always look forward to your posts. I am always challenged, encouraged, convicted and informed by each one. Today’s post stopped me in my tracks and brought me to my knees. I am a third generation Seattleite and dearly love my hometown and the whole northwest. I haven’t lived there since 1994 and scarcely recognize it for all the sin. TODAY I returned home from Seattle from an extended visit with family and friends. My family owns coastal property in Washington, very near Copalis, the city mentioned in the article where the “ghost cedars” were discovered. I took my daughter to spend several days exploring the coastal rainforest and beach a week ago. She loves it there. We even looked at property for sale. I had even contacted a realtor. My blood turned to ice reading the article. I felt sincere dread in my soul and feel warned away from proceeding with the purchase. My daughter is unsaved and would likely spend significant time there if we owned our own lots. I met with old friends while visiting. I shared tracts with them. I feel an urgency I’ve never felt before to be a witness for Christ and to pray for the souls of the lost.

Oh, if you would please pray for the salvation of my children: Hannah, James, Elisabeth and David. I do have one faithful daughter.

Love to all in our Lord Jesus Christ!

I think these “grave suckers” originated in California..I heard about them about 6 months ago..there are also some churches who have painted all their windows black and play rock music and do the harlem shake which is a provocative dance, they say it is to entice the young to church. I say it is demonic. This is happening because the church is weak and of no avail.

  6. Norman, UK says:

These are serious developments, and reflect many layers of iniquity at every level, throughout the world. Also, why, in enjoying the good things, we must not tarry in them at Haran, as Terah did. For the Lord had said ‘Get thee out!’

I have just listened to some teaching on the Kings of Judah. Re Manasseh, who God allowed to reign for 55 years: “And the Lord spake by his servants the prophets, saying, because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols: therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle” (2 Kings 21:10-12) (Manasseh practised child sacrifice, offered to idols through fire – how unbelievably terrible was that?)

Although, through calamity, Manasseh himself ultimately repented, and availed himself of the amazing mercy of the Lord, the wider judgement had eventually to come, timed according to the words of Jeremiah, re the land being desolate until she had enjoyed her Sabbaths (2 Chron 36:21). (Agree with Johannes, re God’s timing.) In Isaiah 62, it is written of Zion: ‘Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married’ – interesting that Manasseh’s mother’s name was Hephzibah. Incredible though it may seem, it appears Manasseh will be found among the redeemed.

Everything written in Deuteronomy had to be accounted for – every jot and tittle. Likewise, every sin in this world has to be accounted for, and there is only one who could paid the price for each of them – the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Hence the Lord has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained: whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.’ (Acts 17:31)

The Gospel, the Gospel, the Gospel! encourage each other to live it, breathe it in Holy Ghost prayer, and by his much-needed wisdom and strength, proclaim it (remember those beautiful feet! – Rom 10:15). It may be that many will yet do as Manasseh did, and turn from their wicked ways – “For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them” (Lk 9:56a).

J C Ryle’s ‘Expository Thoughts on Matthew: ‘Those who try to do good to souls must not expect to fare better than their great Master: “The disciple is not above his Master, nor the servant above his Lord”‘ (Mt 10:24) If it was hard in Jesus’ time, and also in Ryle’s day (1850’s), how much more so today! But if we keep close to the Lord, he is ever with us to assist. (Agree with Dan at #1.)

PS: A much neglected Big Gun, which should be our own long-attended, tear-soaked wailing wall: The Lord’s Prayer! This accords with: ‘Even so, come, Lord Jesus’. ‘Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day.’ (Cf Is 16:5; 2 Pet 3:12)

Could I trouble you all for some prayers? I haven’t been feeling well, which is probably why I am letting things get to me. All of the world news is over whelming me some. Every day on FB, I see animals that people just throw away. I already have 8 dogs and 5 horses, so I am pretty much maxed out. God is in control and I can see things lining up. Jesus can’t come back soon enough for me. I know how selfish that sounds. Please, can someone stand in the gap for me until I can get my feet back under me again?

  9. Arlene Klocek says:

    Dear John,
I have your book ,”As Israel goes so goes America,” excellent reading and true.
Thank you Lord that You are in Control.
I also say,”How much longer,God, can you tolerate this sin and in your face lies of Sodomy and Abortion, Greed, deception, hatefulness. etc.???
    How long?
    Maranatha, Come quickly ,Lord.

  10. Cynthia says:

Just another example in Germany of homosexuals mocking God. The police in this article sided with the homosexuals and asked the Christians to leave. They hate God and all he stands for and it drives them insane. It is no different here in America. What I cannot wrap my head around is how easily the American peoples minds were transformed. I don’t understand that really. Brother John I mentioned to you some time back that I presented your teaching on homosexuality vs. God’s holiness to my teen sunday school class and feel a need to present parts of it once again as a reinforcement. I told them I will be doing this because they are going to be saturated with this abomination through tv and whatever means they can use to sway them. They will also be under greater pressure than at any other time in their lives and we will become a small minority. I want to put great emphasis on the part of your teaching that states “supporting the homosexual agenda shows a deep rebellion against God and classifies that person as a reprobate. To God there is no difference between an active homosexual and a heterosexual who condones this act. They both are linked to the reprobate mind.” It is so important that we get them to understand this. I think many people are deceived into thinking that it is ok to accept this behavior as long as they are not doing it themselves. I know this teaching was written before the Supreme Court decision so I will have to adjust some of it. I also plan to start presenting your teaching on KJV vs. other translations. I am going to present some verses to them this week and ask them to take them home and look them up in the NIV translation and come back next week and tell me what they found (these verses have been omitted from that version). We will then read Revelation 22:18,19. I say all of that to say this. Thank you Brother John for sharing your teachings, for your courage to stand on the word, and for keeping us informed but most of all focused. God’s Blessings rain down upon you. A link to that article stated above:

Wow, I am so delighted that you could use this teaching and help youngsters!
      God bless you.

  11. Cynthia says:

Also…can you think of any questions a teen might ask me in reference to the homosexuality vs. God’s holiness teaching and how I might respond? I want to be prepared to answer. Thanks:)

    Izzie: Will pray for you.

  13. Joni says:

Kristi, I was born in Seattle, and lived there 54 years.
To me it was the the most beautiful place to call home.
I left, based on John’s studies, 4 years ago, and have not stepped foot back.
I am not happy where I am, I cry sometimes, I miss my hometown so much.
But in 4 years I have heard it has become unrecognizable to me.
The homosexual marriage, the pot, the money, the real estate prices, the attitudes.
The air is even dirty now, and it was unexplainable to me before, salt water, evergreens, and fresh rain all combined. I can only hope Heaven is way better, because growing up there was heavenly to me. The mountains, the Sound, there is nowhere like it.
You have HUGE decisions to make.
The Lord sent 2 homosexual women, to buy my home, one mile from the Ferry Dock in Edmonds, on the 311th anniversary of the largest earthquake known to mankind, the one spoke about here that left trees in Grays Harbor.
    I didn’t call that a coincidence.
I have watched, and read, the population explosions there, for the money the jobs are paying. The lifestyle, its drawing people. Its the fasted growing populous anywhere. In my mind, that can only be God drawing people there, for the wrong reasons, so he can show His hand. Please read John’s teaching on the Ordinance of the Ammorites.
    Please reconsider….it’s difficult, I know.
But understand the seriousness of this.
You have come to the right place for prayer.
    God Bless you, Joni

  14. Bailee says:

Good article! I have a view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountain Range. Not everyone can just up and move… where? You move somewhere else and there are going to be problems and potential disasters there also. The earth is groaning and the antichrist is close to rising. I leave it all in God’s hands. We could all be living in fear, moving here and there like rats….I can’t do that.
It’s good to be informed anyway. Thanks for all your great blogs…I do appreciate them so much.
    God Bless You, John McTernan

  15. Mary E. says:

It would be selfish if you felt you didn’t need to ask for prayer. The Lord requires that we stand with our Brothers and Sisters, in support, during trials and tribulations. I can confidently say that the people who regularly comment here are PRAYER WARRIORS to the max and we are here for you. There isn’t one person here who hasn’t felt overwhelmed by the prophetic events unfolding, so we can relate and pray accordingly. Since I have a rather large brood of cats and dogs, I understand how hard it is to see them suffer. It was not part of Gods original plan and so, we must do the best we can for the ones He puts in our care.
I have been a prophecy watcher for 42 years and one thing I have learned from the Lord is this, there are times when you must be on full alert and there are times when you need to shut it all off. When things become overwhelming, then it’s time for a break. The Lord will refresh you during this time, if you will seek Him out. Even batteries need to be re-charged…Amen?
If you are able, it might be a help to listen to John’s weekly radio show, when he prays for those with illness, anxiety and depression. There will be many listening who will be able to pray for you.
Hope this helps and let us know how you are doing.

  16. Melany says:

Izzie: I will agree with you in prayer, for your physical healing and for spiritual, emotional strength to get through the remaining days ahead. I volunteer with shelter dogs and I see the worst and the best in people there. I pray over the dogs and tell them that their Creator is coming back. I will help to stand in the gap for you, along with others that I know will be praying for you also.
“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
    (Matthew 11:28)

  17. Lori says:

Kristi and Izzie, I will remember to pray for Kristi’s children, and for Izzie’s health and your animals. Lord bless you both with his peace which passesth all understanding.

  18. mrs. CJB says:

God Bless You Izzie. I ask in Jesus’ name that He will lift the burden that you are overwhelmed by. I pray in Jesus name that every emotional and physical need be met, Amen

  19. Dan.w says:

Father God.I pray for our friends here, for their loved ones who do not yet know the Lord..make an inroad into their hearts and minds..that they may see Christ in His glorious light and be drawn to Him and His salvation. To my overwhelmed friends,Jesus is our intercessor, able to stand in the gap for each of us.Even now,He prays on your behalf at the Fathers right hand. The Bible has many passages which calm the spirit, ease the heart and give healing to our being. There is no peace found in secular news, but Jesus is our peace. We know what is to come, but it is far better to trust the overcomer, than fear bad tidings.Above it all, stands the Lord of History,Jesus, our creator and lover of our souls. We are His.You are safe..and secure in His tender care.Trust Him…….He is worthy of it.God bless you all into eternity,my friends.

  20. Lori says:

Cynthia, I too read the article you shared, can’t get over the vile behavior that was acted out by these homosexuals. Lord bless the hearts of everyone here!

  21. Loretta says:

Kristi & Izzie, You are in our hearts and prayers. There is not one of us that haven’t stood where you are. We are children of the True and Living God, saved by the precious blood of Jesus; we are hidden in Christ and He is in God…. no safer place in all the world.
Love and blessings to all of you.

  22. Joni says:

My heart aches, for the ones who belong to Jesus….who are mocked and rejected, and do not even know where to live in this mess we call the world now.
I never thought it would feel so bad, and I know it may get way worse before we get out. And my heart aches for the animals. Real bad. The 4th of July, which we had no reason to celebrate in my mind, traumatized my new puppy. She has not recovered. It has imprinted on her according to a Trainer i sought help from.
    Today its the vacuum.
Please Lord Jesus, give us courage, and wisdom, and hope, for time’s as these. Please protect our animals hearts too. In Jesus name, Amen.

  23. Izzie says:

Thank you all. I can’t tell you how much better I feel. God is so good. I am keeping you all in my prayers as well. Have any of you been reading about all of the things that are supposed to be coming together this fall? Seems the globalists have something afoot.

  24. Maria L says:

Norm, abortion is making your sons to pass through the fire.

2Kings 23:10 “that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.”

Those innocent babies are fed into the mouth of that demon when their parents abort them. Molech still exists, he has not been cast into the lake of fire yet.

Ezekiel 20:31 “For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day:”

    Unto this day means today.

2King 17:17 “And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

I repent for the sins of this world.

  25. Norman, UK says:

Maria – in effect, it is the same, albeit dressed up in modern ‘frills’. Why did the ancients turn to idols? Because the ancients were more religious or superstitious about it – but their idols pandered to the same fallen motives of flesh and ‘self’ – in effect, the same evil god of this world. And they did these things, right alongside their faith in the God of Israel – idols were even set up in the temple, as well as around Jerusalem. It is amazing that God put up with it for so long, and still showed mercy when they repented – and according to the prophets – will yet show mercy, even though its set to happen again (the ‘Abomination of Desolation’).
I understand more babies have been aborted in modern Israel, than the number of children killed in the holocaust. Also, that homosexuality is being promoted there, and that some want to make it the ‘Gay’ capital of the Middle East! If this is true, it is almost too painful to contemplate. Jeremiah 9 is so relevant (perhaps that’s what you meant by ‘I repent for the sins of this world’).
Since my own conversion in 1970, I’ve observed that the unregenerate mind is blinded, even when it’s religious. That’s why I say the Gospel is the only hope. But with the Genesis foundations all but destroyed (as they think), it’s difficult even for the righteous to know what to do, other than to take refuge in the Lord, and to pray – and especially for the ‘Peace of Jerusalem’ (‘Thy Kingdom Come, Lord!).
The Holy Spirit is still here with us, but are the conditions right for him to work, or must judgement come first? We can seek him about all such questions. But we’ve seen a lot of false ‘moves’ around, which make matters worse – ‘healing the hurt of the daughter of my people lightly’.
Our dear Lord Jesus did warn us this state of affairs would come. After 2 or 3 centuries of respite, it seems the NT pariah status of the Church is becoming the new normal – it fits everything we read about the times that precede Jesus’ glorious return (e.g. Ps 2). Yes, I am ‘pre-trib’, but that doesn’t mean we shall not have tribulation in this world, and probably a lot more of it than of late. It’s time to choose whom we shall serve, and to build only upon the Rock! The storms and floods may assault that house, but by God’s grace, it will stand!

  26. Norman, UK says:

It may be unpalatable to contemplate the same worldly, liberal trends we see in our own countries evident in the Holy Land. On the plus side, is freedom – the fresh air that allows us to express ourselves, and to live as we choose, within the law. No other ME country enjoys this.
To put things into context, I attach the links below: the one, a lovely Israeli Pro-Life charity; the other, a Jerusalem Post article on the Jerusalem Gay Pride march. The last few lines of the latter short article are quite revealing.
Seeing this in the context of modern Jerusalem, one wonders if much has changed since Jesus’ day. One reason the establishment despised him, was because he associated with those regarded as sinners who were beyond the pale – unaware that they were also sinners. Jesus’ approach was compassionate, corrective and restorative, in a spirit of love. Are we still learning? Are the fields yet ‘white unto harvest’? And despite the militant provocation, at an individual level, are we ready to follow Jesus’ example?

  27. Dan.w says:

I agree with you brother Norman, that while we both believe in a ‘pre-trib’ position,we are in for tribulations with a little ‘t’.They won’t seem little as they happen, but will pale compared to the ‘Big One’.Also,as for the Nt Church,I believe we are witnessing the real Church and the false one, growing up,side by side.and quite frankly, without the Holy Spirit’s help, many do not have the discernment to tell the difference. The world cannot, and that is part of why they have a strong distaste for God,because they see a pretend christian or group do something no real Christian would want to be part of,and attribute the ‘deed’ to Christianity, and then say…That’s why I’m not a Christian! I pray the Lord will use us where He has placed us for His glory.God bless you brother Norman,Danw
