The American Reprobate Mind
God’s Judgment on America
Romans 1:27,28 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
What really caught my attention was the mindset of the National Football League (NFL) promoting the homosexual agenda with the drafting of Michael Sam. He is the first open homosexual player drafted. It seems the entire sports media and Hard Left were elated over this. Sam even was compared with Jackie Robinson the first black player in Major League baseball.
Roger Goodell and the leadership of the NFL were activily promoting Sam and even wanted teams to give him special consideration because he is a homosexual.
God is completely out of mind of these people. They are reprobates, while money and football are now an idol to them. In fact, football and sports are idols to vast numbers of Americans.
It really does appear that God has now judged the idol of the NFL and pulled the cover off how corrupt it is.
The timing of this domestic violence scandal and trying to force Sam and homosexuality on teams is incredible. There was about a week between the two.
Report: NFL Officials Asked Teams To Consider Signing Michael Sam To Practice Squad 09/04/14 I played high school football and other sports. It is inconceivable that an openly homosexual man can freely mingle with heterosexual men in the locker room. It is like having a normal man roaming freely in a women’s locker room. There are privacy and team cohesion issues that are serious.
Homosexual men look at other men as women, and heterosexual men have the right to be protected from this, but the NFL did not care. What was most important to the NFL was the promotion of the homosexual agenda.
“The Rams waived Michael Sam, the first openly gay player trying to make an NFL roster, he was unemployed for two days,” King said. “During that time a league official contacted multiple teams asking if they had evaluated Sam as a probable practice squad player.” “Now Sam and the NFL avoided a nightmare situation when he signed with the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys.” This report, that is surely to upset other players vying for NFL practice squads around the league, was initially reported by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith on yesterday’s edition of “First Take.”
“According to sources I have in the NFL, the league did call a few teams. They did want teams to take Michael Sam because obviously we see what kind of movement they’re gearing for, and what they’re support of Michael Sam, who we all know, came out, acknowledged he was gay before the draft and ultimately something Roger Goodell and the NFL supports and they want their teams to support. But other teams weren’t too receptive to taking him on once the St. Louis Rams cut him,” reported the ESPN talking head.”
Roger Goodell: ‘The Same Mistakes Can Never Be Repeated’ 09/19/14 I think Goodell had normal players forced into “sensitivity training” because they would not accept Sam and his homosexuality. We can really see how the spirit of sodomy has now descended over the nation. This is because God’s Holy Spirit has left.
Now Goodell and the NFL are about to receive “sensitivity training” from women’s groups about domestic violence, which he did not previously seem to care about. What was so important to Goodell was protecting the football idol.
To me, it is joyful to see Goodell get a dose of what he did to normal men who opposed an open homosexual in the locker room.
“Commissioner Roger Goodell says the NFL wants to implement new personal conduct policies by the Super Bowl. Goodell was short on specifics at a news conference Friday, his first public statements in more than a week about the rash of NFL players involved in domestic violence. More defiant than contrite as he was hammered with questions, Goodell said he has not considered resigning. “Unfortunately, over the past several weeks, we have seen all too much of the NFL doing wrong,” he said in his opening statement. “That starts with me.” The league has faced increasing criticism that it has not acted quickly or emphatically enough. The commissioner reiterated that he botched the handling of the Ray Rice case. “The same mistakes can never be repeated,” he said”.
What happened to the NFL is a picture of the entire nation. God will judge all of America’s idols just like the NFL. He might start with Wall Street and idol of money.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
