Obama interviewed BEFORE the 2008 election…
    Question to Obama:
Define Marriage: “I believe marriage is a union between a man and a women. Now for me as a Christian, it’s also a sacred union…you know, God’s in the mix.”

Later as president, he conveniently “evolved” to support homosexual marriage.

God’s moral law is eternal and doesn’t evolve!

President Obama is in for a rude awakening one day soon. I listen to him when he has one of his press conferences (yes it is difficult and I can feel my blood pressure rise) and his arrogance still amazes me. I sometimes wonder if he knows how disliked he is. God may be using Obama to judge America, but one day Obama will have the face his own judgement, as will all those who oppose God.

I read this today and thought it was an interesting twist.

Report: Mossad working with Saudis on contingency plans for potential attack on Iran

    http://www.jpost.com/Iranian-Threat/News/Report-Mossad-working-with-Saudis-on-contingency-plans-for-potential-attack-on-Iran-331961

‘Sunday Times’ quotes diplomatic source as saying Saudis “furious” over Iran nuclear deal on table and are willing to give Israel “all the help it needs” on military option.

Then I came across this article.

Russia: Very Good Chance For a Deal with Iran

    http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/174083#.UohXF9KsiSp

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Saturday that there is a “very good chance” of reaching a long-sought deal on Iran’s nuclear program, reports RIA Novosti.

Speaking to Russian television, Lavrov said that the world powers and Iran have no fundamental disagreements.

The National Weather Service is officially predicting a tornado outbreak for Sunday. This is turning into a very dangerous situation and I am asking for prayer for all of us,especially in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky, who will be in the path of these storms.

OT Israel was/is the foreshadow of the NT Israel (Church).

when OT Israel enters the next war…….will NT Israel (Church) enter a (Spiritual) war?

Israel became a nation in 1948………..the USA Church’s SUNDAY SCHOOL attendance reached an all time high…at the same time…….

BUT now that the whole world wants to murder OT Israel,,,,,the whole world wants to murder the Church also.

“Pax Romana”….I haven’t heard that in a long time.

    A follow up…

Brother John, I ran across this article from The BBC about the spiritual “condition” in the Philippines that you, Brian, and myself, discussed a few days ago. From the article, it appears this storm has strengthened their faith. We can only pray it continues to do so and they will find peace in The Holy God of Israel.

Thank you Mary E for posting this. Storms don’t bother me. I find them rather exciting. But this one has be a bit nervous. It seems like IL will get the worst of it with a 90% chance of large-track tornadoes. (Think Joplin and Tuscaloosa). I’ll be posting this prayer request on my prayer groups too. Stay safe.

  7. Josh says:

John – I made a typo on the Obama quote…shud be “man and a woman.” Thanks

    Isaiah 59:18
According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

  9. Mary E. says:

Thanks Irene. I am a storm chaser and this one has me nervous, too. So far you are correct. As I write, this Illinois has multiple tornado warnings.

  10. Boy oh Boy Kudos to John McTernan for predicting this entire series of events that would befall the America that elected Obama as El Presidente. Little did we know how bad things would get but here we be. God Bless you John I remember so many people that mocked you for daring to say that a Holy God would hold us accountable for the unmitigated actions of a rouge homosexual president. You were correct on every point.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

It is not over, but as he keeps his metal to the metal for sin, the Holy God of Israel is matching it with judgment.

So excited today as a Brother from Tel Aviv came to worship with our congregation in Charlotte N.C. He shared his testimony …born into a Jewish family, served in the Israeli Air Force, then travelled to America where he met Yeshua as Messiah & Lord. He is a pastor and a director of a Messianic Outreach Center in Israel. He came to tell us of the miracles The Lord is doing in these Last Days and how He is
Preparing His Bride and bringing in the Harvest !! He came to tell us about many Arabs as well as Muslims who have recently accepted Christ !! They praise the Name of Jesus together, break bread, and wash each other’s feet. He couldn’t tell us enough about the Goodness of God. It was truly refreshing to be in God’s presence today & worship the King with all our hearts in one accord ! Revival is breaking out everywhere as God pours out His Spirit , both here & throughout Israel as well . Shalom my friends … It won’t be long … It won’t be long at all !!

BARACK GIVES US A BAD NAME

Oh! He smokes too much pot or he’s just insane–Barack gives us a bad name, bad name.
Deceptive smile is what he sells–media’ messiah from heaven is a demonic creature from hell.
His snake oil charm to some is entrancing–because homosexuality’s his passion and they can’t break free.
My Father’s Dream author; some think he’s the one and great–but from the very first election he’s proved to be a reprobate.
Benghazi-red blood drips from his fingertips, Islamic insurgents blood-thirsty evil cry, while this nation asks questions he pretends to not know why–he committed murder when he deliberately let Americans die.
Chemical bombings in disputed Syrian neighborhoods, guess who he wants in power–his friends from Al-Qaida–the Muslim brotherhood.
International pariah with no credibility when he spied on his ally Merkel from The Federal Republic of Germany.
Oh! He smokes too much pot or he’s just insane–Barack gives us a bad name, bad name.

  14. Tom says:

KERRY GIVES US A BAD NAME

Oh! Kerry’s a retard he has no brains, Swift boat Veteran with dubious claims. Kerry gives us a bad name, bad name.
He negotiates peace while threatening Israel with war–lizard-tongue liar is a media whore.
Insults Veterans, claims their Genghis Khan, killing innocent babies with M-16 rifles and gooey napalm.
Self-proclaimed hero, caught in so many lies, while real soldiers were wounded–many have died.
For little or no effort, he’s awarded a purple heart–for what? For self-inflicted sand in his eyes.
Oh! Kerry’s a retard he has no brains, Swift boat Veteran with dubious claims.
Kerry gives us a bad name, bad name.

In reference to the storms Mary E warned about, they just said that they had the first E4 tornado in November in Illinois. The damage looks extreme.

  16. Tom
I understand your motives for writing the poem BUT its also very offensive to those who were/are labeled retarded . You think you could use another phrase ?
For many its not just a word used to insult but its the implications -some of which you even say in your poem. Many people who are nonverbal have been labeled “retarded” and treated like dirt because they could not communicate and even told to their face that they were incapable of thinking. And in this day of Obamacare it won’t take long before many people with communication and mental disabilities will be thrown back into institutions because the group homes they live in cannot afford to function. If people absorb the attitude that you imply (that these people are unable to contribute to society) there will be very few fighting to keep them in the community. and if you think I am overreacting the group home I work at is having discussions about how long we can stay open if Obamacare goes into full swing.
I am NOT criticizing your message – I agree with it completely. Just choice of words can cause people to lose respect for you and your message and whatever you say after this.

  17. Irene C says:

Thanks Mary E. I’m not a chaser (getting too old and no vehicle) but I am a member of SkyWarn, so I’m a backyard storm spotter. We made it through pretty good. Had one thunderstorm come through but we didn’t have any damage. Haven’t heard about the surrounding area yet. Still a bit windy here though. Did you make it through okay? I was praying for you. I was watching the live feed and video coming out of Illinois and Indiana and did a lot of praying for those people, especially for those who don’t know Jesus yet. I just want these people to have one more chance. Also, I just heard that Illinois just tied or broke a record for tornado deaths (5 so far) for November.

Oh my – while I was typing this, I was watching a new video that came through The Weather Channel. This man was recording the tornado in IL as it was going through his neighborhood. While he was taping, he was praying out loud, asking Jesus to forgive our sins. His voice was steady and calm. (Not sure mine would have been with a possible EF3-4 going through my neighborhood.) What a blessing to hear prayer on a national program.

@Danielle – thank you for that wonderful post. It brought tears of joy to my eyes. I have read many accounts of Muslims coming to Jesus, even if it will/may cost them their lives. Some had received supernatural revelations. Yes, there is revival breaking out, unfortunately, it isn’t happening in the U.S. anymore. A verse I like is Luke 21:24 – “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” Put together with everything else I’ve studied, I believe it means that there’s a certain number of Gentiles that God has ordained for the Church, and when that number is reached, we go Home. It’s like the old sailing vessels – when the number that needed to be aboard was reached, the ship sailed. Of course that is IMO and I would appreciate Brother John’s comment on it. Maranatha

It feels like home again, Tom’s jingles, it’s been to long Brother Tom…..don’t stay away so long from now on ok?

  21. Tom, I find your decision to use the word “retard” offensive. As a Mom to a precious child who has many mental and physical challenges, it hurts to read your poem.

  22. Tom says:

I deliberately used the word RETARD over the word moron to evoke a response. What if I called Kerry “Wheat bread”, would you take offense and excoriate me because your child has celiac disease?

At what point will you stop considering yourself a victim? If Christ is in you, then you are in Christ and you are not a victim but a victor. Yes, You are a victor in Christ, you have power as a child of God over Satan, you have The Holy God’s provision, you have His promise–The Great I Am is enough!

God gave you a precious gift that no one else in the world has; your gift is so incredibly precious that he entrusted her to you and only you–and no one else. Yet you act as though you are burdened.

    In His Service,
    Tom

  23. Tom says:

I agree with you on all but one point, and that is the use of the word RETARD. I deliberately used it to see what kind of response I would get as a pejorative directed at Kerry to see if any Liberals would come slithering out in his defense–none so far. What if I wrote “mentally challenged Kerry” would it have the same effect–evoke the same emotion? How about “poopie pants Kerry” would I insult those in diapers and be censured?

I use satire as a way to poke a finger in the eye of the absurd and sublime all the while garnishing a laugh at the expense of the absurd–in this case evil and slime.

The whole world mocks Barack O’Kerry, I’m just joining in the fun, it’s what they deserve for trying to divide The Holy City of Jerusalem.

  24. Mary E. says:

Thank you, Irene and all who prayed for those of us in the path of yesterday’s storms. Irene, I did pray for you, especially when the system entered Ohio. Despite the terrible damage along the storm front, the Lord did answer prayer. I spent the day glued to radar and watched as the very first tornado warning appeared near Rockford, Ill. After that, the radar exploded with Doppler indicated tornadoes, starting in Wisconsin and traveling all the way down to So. Illinois. These were individual super cells, not a solid line and that’s what made it so dangerous. I have never seen anything like it. Many of the tornadoes were long-tracking, in the F-2 to F-4 range. As the storms approached S.W. Indiana, there were 3 cells, with tornadoes, heading toward my area. As I watched local weather coverage, one cell moved to the northeast, one went to the southeast and one headed straight toward my town. This is where the praise report comes in. The cell that was heading toward my area completely dissipated before it entered my county. Not only did we not have a warned storm, but all it produced was about 10 minutes of rain and then the sun came out! All I could do was praise the Lord for His mercy. I’m sorry to say, the other tornado cells around us, intensified, going on to hit several areas. I continue to pray for those affected.

  25. Mary E. says:

I wanted to add that I have no doubt that the Lord continues to try and get the attention of His people. I expected all along that this would be a destructive day and I’m not ashamed to admit that fear almost got the best of me. It is a comfort to know we can pray for each other.
I also found it interesting, that two towns that received direct hits from strong tornadoes, are Washington, Ill. and Washington, Ind.

  26. Tom, What a great response to those commenting is your use of the word “retard”. I did not take it any other way than what it was meant to be; (a jab at Kerry) and nothing else. People need to thicken their skins and not take things, (words) so literally. By the way, loved your poem. A former veteran..
