May YHWH have mercy on us all !!!

    Psalm 6
1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?
4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. Psalm 147: 11

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Psalm 149:4

It’s tragic, John. It really is. Is it worth mentioning at this point that the 2nd blood moon of the current lunar tetrad cycle just occurred in this same time period? Do you have a position on this or see any possible connection?

I believe it is a general sign of God’s judgment.
When it falls on Biblical feast days as these moons have, it is a sign.

Thanks for your comments and observations brother John.

Last Wed night I visited a church that reminded me of a nursing home I used to attend. (To visit the shut in’s)

The fire had gone out of the lives and they were just going thru the motions markin time talking about THE GOOD OLE DAYS.

I went home crying! About this time last year I had an encounter that indicates,
The United States of America shall lie a ruinous heap -BEFORE “DAMASCUS SHALL LIE A RUINOUS HEAP”

I lay claim to Psalm 91!

  5. Joe says:

Gods long-suffering amazes me when you look at history now 6,000 years and what God has to put up with (I’ve been one of the worst) His grace is Astounding its about to run its course. Jesus said when you see the fig tree bud (Israel) that will happen in the last generation the people born around 1947 is that generation so a generation is 70 to 80 years that takes us to 2028, if 70 years 2021 and then you have the 7 year Tribulation to fit in there so lets realize we may only have 5 to 6 years left until…. D Woodward in his new book The Final Babylon makes a good case for America being the final Babylon its a good read. When you read Ezk chapters 26 and 27 and Jeremiah chapters 50 and 51 its looks exactly like America, we where exactly like Tyre with all there merchandise and trafficking. It a shame but people will go shopping and they do not need anything but they just have to buy something but ask them to give to the Kingdom and they won’t, Most peoples houses I go into I don’t like it there houses are so filled with junk its unbelievable . I really believe the reason most Americans believe they are on this plant is to see how big of a mortgage they can pay off and how many cars they can get in the driveway. God is the furthest thing from there mind.
Thank you John for keeping us up to date.

Note that on Columbus Day 10-13-2014 The the name of the nurse infected with Ebola in TX was revealed as Nina Pham. You will remember that Nina was the name of one of Columbus’ ships.

I have a question for John, and for anyone else who would like to offer an opinion. I have a friend who says that if only Christians would get involved in politics, run for office, and vote, we could turn back the tide of homosexuality, and pretty much all the other wickedness that is engulfing our nation. I would like to know, do any of you agree with him?

My opinion is that we have been voting for a long time, and things are worse now than ever. Most Christians do not have the money, the time, or the desire to get into politics. And even if they did have the money and the time, they know that politics is a messy, unpleasant business, rife with corruption and evil people with whom most Christians would rather not engage. So, does the answer to the wickedness that plagues America lie in changing government, or is my friend just wrong?

    • JohnMcTernan says:

What is needed is repentance and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to defeat the reprobate mind.
      Anything else is useless.

  8. Sandra says:

I just heard that they are monitoring another ebola case in Richmond VA and the hospital workers are in full haz-mat attire…in Chesapeake VA there are 4 CDC trailers and when the local news questions them about it, and wanted to see inside them, they were told that there were people doing a survey inside them..Yep and I was born yesterday..

  9. Sandra says:

the local news just posted that the woman in Richmond tested negative for the ebola virus..(I want to make sure that what I post is truthful and I do not want anyone to get upset because the info is not correct).

  10. Dan.w says:

In regards to Gary’s question…..not to sound over simplistic,I personally believe we are to be salt and light in this culture, some may feel led to go into politics. But I believe it’s a fool’s errand to try and fight, dollar for dollar against reprobates, only to be overruled,i.e.the courts, when our higher calling is to get the Gospel out.We can supply lost people with all the facts or evidence on things in hopes they ‘see the light’.However, they rebel because they have a different ‘papa’.It takes a [new heart],to see things as the Lord see’s them.If we can win their heart to the Lord, the rest will take care of itself……Note.I am not saying we can or should reclaim a culture, only God can by a true full-on national repentance…and that seems highly unlikely. We are,as a nation, whores for football, reality T.V.ease and easy way outs.We are reaping the crop we have sown,God bless you all….the real believers.Jesus IS coming soon.and I await.

Thanks to all who answered my question. I have another. The federal judges claim they are legalizing ssm because the Constitution requires them to. But, there is nothing in the US Constitution that requires marriage of any kind to be legal, much less same-sex marriage. They usually claim the 14th Amendment requires equal treatment. OK. But homosexuals have always been allowed to marry under the same qualifications as heterosexuals. The same rules have applied to all. So where is this violation of equal treatment under the law.

It is clear to me that there is no constitutional reason for the federal judges to be legalizing ssm. THEN WHAT IS THEIR REAL REASON??? Anyone have an opinion?

  12. Denise in MI says:

Maybe they are waiting for Sharia law to come here and the point will be moot.

  13. Dan.w says:

‘Our constitution’ was written by and for morally constrained people…..but now it is in the mouth of fools,i.e.activist,rogue,unelected,unaccountable judges. They reflect the will and desire of a base and debased populace. They willfully deny the obvious, and read into the document anything opposing original intent.Remember, the scribes and pharasee’s [sorry for the spelling],were notorious for trying to use a proverb out of context to attempt to deceive or trick the Lord.,so it is with our modern day [little god’s].Homosexuals are so named because of their sin. They,in fact have the exact same rights by true law to marry whomever they wish, just as you or I,as long as it is of the opposite sex. They have garnered ‘special rights because for us,it is sin to join to one of the same, they have raised themselves to a special status where moral restraint is cast aside for ‘public opinion’,..In their mind, they become god’s,and the final arbitor of their destiny..and we are along for the ride.We live in ‘their dog and pony show now,and unless the Lord return soon for us… know it won’t be pretty.Everyone has a ‘hill yo die on’.Make sure when you draw that line in the sand, you stick with not do so would shame our Lord.God bless each of you as you contend for THE faith,.Remember.We all have an appointment with Jesus. As Savior,or as judge.
