I believe that when the Temple is built it will unleash an era of unprecedented prosperity for those who bless Israel, just as Solomon’s Temple heralded unheard of prosperity for Israel and those of his era who blessed Israel.

      Yikes, no!
There will be a false peace and prosperity for only a short time and then the Tribulation.
This will be followed by the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the real peace and prosperity.

There is a war before Ezekiel 38. It is the Psalm 83 war and this is forming right now.
I write about this in my book, As America Has Done to Israel.

is jerusalem going to be divided, or allowed to be divided by God? I don’t understand how the Gog/Magog war where Israel takes huge amount of land, etc. etc. if palestinians are living in judea and sameria and jerusalem is divided.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

It is the Psalm 83?Obadiah war in which Israel takes the land.
In this coming war, Jerusalem is not going to be divided as we are looking at the end of Islam.

When finally built- this will be the Temple that the Antichrist will desecrate (the abomination of desolation; see Daniel 9:27 & Matthew 24:15)- because the chosen people rejected their Messiah, our LORD Jesus Christ! ‘zionsgate.wordpress.com’

  6. Was wondering about Joel 3:2. Is that referring to Jerusalem?

As I was reading this thought struck me!!! As we know . . . so many things in the OT are types i.e. shadows of coming events. At the moment the “Dome of the Rock” is currently situated on the Temple Mount . . . the highest point in Jerusalem and is situated there to indicate that allah is bigger and better than Jehovah which is just what the OT believers in Baal thought.

Well . . . this is what our Jehovah God has to say about that!!!

    Leviticus 26:30
And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

i still find it hard for there to be the obediah war with president obama as president–he is handcuffing netanyahu—what starts the war–the division of israel or the attempted division? thanks for explaining it to me. yet it says re: gog/magog war that the Lord’s fury will come up into His face and then in Ezekial we have the huge earthquake, and everything else. I guess I don’t understand the sequence: Jerusalem goes to get divided and it’s obediah, then Israel expands, then the gog war? at what point is the temple rebuilt? thanks again!

Sailing on the Sea of Galilee, getting Baptized in the Jordan River , praying at the Wailing Wall , walking in Nazareth & standing on the Mount of Olives. the best part ever was looking out across the Valley of Megiddo & knowing the next time I was there, I WOULD BE WITH HIM !! Shalom ~ Be Blessed

The Israelis should have torn down the Dome of the Rock and the Al -Aqsa mosque after the 7 day war, when they had the upper hand..
