    Greetings everyone!
My hubby told me there was a show on PBS recently that discussed stress. I may be slightly off on the statistics, but stress for men and women in the 70’s was around 5%. Variations continued until today stress is being measured in the 50%-plus range for both sexes. I’m not sure what the template for the actual stress is, but from what I’ve seen among my son’s friends (ages 34/35), not many of them read news – not even online. They don’t know what’s going on(!) Among my peers (age 60 & up), … most of them are pinning their hopes on the next election; believing the world system to change and bring resolution to the problems in this country, let alone the rest of the world.

What I’m meaning to say is ~ people have no idea what kind of stress lays ahead. If I did not know Yeshua as my Savior, reading “Update: The Road to World War 3” would upset me greatly. I feel so badly for those who do not believe in Jesus Christ, want nothing to do with His message of love & salvation, who say to me “….that’s not the way I believe…” Things in this world continue to escalate and so many are not prepared. If one nuclear weapon hits one of our cities, many people are going to lose their minds.

I, too, dread what the Supreme Court will decide. I’m cognizant of a great many souls who believe this life to be all there is…who place their hope in an ideology, a political party, a religious leader, etc. ….who believe themselves to be basically “good” people, and everything will work out in the end. My Dearest Abba, please open their eyes, and if You would so bless us with a Word to say to them….to make them think…reconsider their stance…question their traditions & beliefs…so that their eyes be opened and their arms would outstretch to you — “Oh Lord, save me! I give my life to You!” Please, Father, bless us with a Word and the opportunity to share it. In the end, we can take nothing with us except other people, and there is so much at stake here.

Great post, Melany, and good to hear from you. I agree with you. The “kids” are too busy establishing their families and careers, and the mature generation are afraid NOT to trust in the gov’t. I think of people on Social Security and what could happen to our financial system very soon, but I also believe God will take care of His own. Many were excited when the Republicans won so many seats last fall, but they haven’t done much to impress me. I pray for godly leaders, but I don’t see that happening. Progressives in both parties are striving for the NWO. From Preppers with their bug-out bags to billionaires with their lavish bunkers, people delude themselves into thinking they could survive a nuclear holocaust. We must put our trust in God and not man. I agree with you in prayer, “Lord, open their eyes.”

Oh Melany! Do you realize there are others who feel exactly as you have stated so well? Just yesterday I was thinking about my saved children who still have no idea what is coming because they don’t even want to discuss prophecy! Plus the older grandchildren are busy with their own lives and families and getting an education and just not seeing what is ahead. They don’t want me to insert warnings into conversations, so I’ve just quit trying–praying a lot for them though and hopefully there will be time when something really bad happens to get them to listen and to want to understand what else is coming.

So, I would repeat your prayer! Thank you for the right words. God bless you and everyone in this “Fellowship”! I thank God for all of you and for your insightful, thoughtful, comforting comments. And I thank John for being God’s humble and faithful servant to inform and exhort us.

Yes, I too fear the Supreme Court’s decision on legalizing homosexual marriage. Although, my gut tells me that it will win. I think the LGBT’s are anticipating a vote which will favor their deviant lifestyle. I live in Los Angeles and have noticed more and more transexuals being open about their perversions; there is no shame.

America has lost the fear,[respect for] of God.We have forgotten how to blush and be truly ashamed for our sins. When we instead call them mistakes and not sin,it removes the reason to repent of them,.we just go .oops!Father God,forgive me for my sins, and let me stand in the gap for my family here and at home as I should.Let me not pass blame to others but accept responsibility for myself in all things.Purge from me,any unclean thing so our fellowship remains strong and unbroken..In Christ’s great name,Amen.
