WARNING: Real Church in Grave Danger in America

Making speech illegal will be the last straw. The one that breaks the camel’s back, so to speak. Woe be unto anyone who arrests any Christian for telling the truth about sin.

  2. Matt says:

    John,
The hard left still have a long way to go as Christianity is still very much part of everyday life in America. There are Churches in every City. Thanksgiving is a Federal Holiday honoring God. Christmas is a Federal Holiday honoring the birth of Jesus Christ. The stock market is closed on Good Friday, in remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ. In God we Trust is on our money. One nation under God in our Pledge. Nearly every politician takes an oath on the Bible. Crosses are in many military cemeteries. 10 commandments are nearly on every courthouse.

If the hard left start demanding that Thanksgiving or Christmas be done away with, I assure you that it will backfire. I invite them to try to take these aforementioned items and you will see a huge uproar from Christians.

Accceptance of homosexuality is merely a symptom of the grave sins of society these past 50 years, i.e. birth control, fornication, adultery, no-fault divorces, pornography, abortion, drug abuse, suicides, and destruction of family.

I agree that we need to all pray that the Holy Spirit descend on the people and the land.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

Matt, when I read this response I had a great sadness.
I don’t think you realize how evil and dangerous the Hard Left is and just how much they hate you, yes you.
Right now, they are in power right working out their agenda and turning society against you.
They want to destroy you, yes you.
They are progressing step by step to strip you of your rights and destroy you, yes you.
I have been posting this progress for a long time and now their agenda is accelerating right in front of your eyes.
You really don’t see the danger you are in just as the Jews did not see it in Europe.
I think you represent the overwhelming number of Christians.
Because you and people like you don’t see the danger, there will be no fervent cry to the LORD for mercy and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit,
and thus the, reprobates gain more and more power and come closer to destroying YOU.

  3. Raewyn Barnes says:

Im not sure if it is that the church doesnt care or if its the teaching we receive in church that God is a good God not a God of judgement so it all becomes very confusing to the people.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

Look what false teaching about the true nature of God has done to America.
The bottom line with God is that He is holy and we are to walk in the fear of Him as the Bible
      describes fear.

  4. Judy Haught says:

Excellent truth being written. Thank you for the exposure of what is happening in the Church and in the secular world. I believe this is truth that must be told, yet on Christian Site I am on has all this info I share, and it is amazing how few believe this is possible. The Site is open world wide, so those outside our USA,
are usually replying like this is not true. A few Christians in our Country believe but don’t want to accept it and mock what we try to warn them is about to happen. I believe. I am so glad I met you John.

I just finished reading your book, As America Does to Israel. It was a new lesson for me. I had not heard about America being first to open her doors to the Jewish in order to spare their lives.

God bless you and I am praying the Lord does return soon. Yet I know it is important to get the Word out. Thank you.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

I am delighted that my ministry is such a blessing to you.
Christians in America are the now the Jews of Europe in the 1930s.
If you understand how evil the Hard Left reprobates are then it is easy to see where this is heading.

  5. sdavis117 says:

They may never come against Christianity, but they want to be the ones defining and changing it to fit our progressively evolving society. What will be outlawed will be those that believe the Bible is the true word of God and want to follow it. They have made enormous progress in making those of us that believe the Bible, the enemy…even the enemy of “Christianity”. They are brainwashing, especially the younger generations, to believe that we are full of hate and intolerance and must be forced into submission or be punished. Brother John is absolutely right that we will be facing persecution whether it is losing our job or if Jesus tarries, losing our life. Please strengthen your relationship with God because it’s going to take great faith to stand against it. There’s no doubt it is coming unless there is a great revival and outpouring of the Spirit. Sadly, with everything happening in the Middle East and the signs of the times, I believe there will be an outpouring, but not one that will turn this country around. I think it will be the last of the gentiles to be saved before the rapture and tribulation. The signs are there if your heart and mind is open to seeing them. We all need to be close to God and about His business for the time is short! God bless!!

  6. ICollier says:

I find that picture of “affection” OFFENSIVE!!!

  7. Nancy Burleson says:

Sent for training huh? they can train God out of our being. these guy spokesman’s are mean nasty bullies who want rights but deny us of our right to disagree. Do they think if they can stomp God out of the equation they will be safe and not have to worry about thier eternity> i believe they are petrified and if every one comes over to their side God will have to change his mind. I would be afraid also if I were them. they will never change me so that I can be put in their sinking ship beside them. i agree if they could get by with it now they would kill us. this is a supernatural hate and someone dying over this is going to happen. At least we will be in a place where the King loves us and is true. that is my greatest joy,

  8. Barbara in VA says:

@sdavis117: Thank you for expressing so clearly what so many of us believe to be happening in today’s world regarding the true meaning of Christianity and what the “world” sees as Christian. Just the past year, reading the comments here, it is obvious that some still think that accepting people as they are is the loving thing to do. And then there are those who refuse to see the extent to which our government has gone and is going to in order to quiet those who would protest against the right to free speech, free expression of beliefs, objection to government intrusion into all areas of our lives, etc., etc.

I also found that picture to be highly offensive when I first saw it a few days ago! And what the NFL did to one of it’s players for remarking about that situation shows the scary direction that anyone in authority is taking against those who express their opinion. I was so excited yesterday though to hear someone stand up and declare her beliefs against homosexual relationships in a loving, caring but strongly Biblical way! It was an hour long presentation with text from Matthew 24 concerning the “lateness of the hour” given by Anne Graham Lotz. First time I have heard her speak–wow! what a woman of God! And as a friend of mine remarked, “she is not hiding in the tall grass”!

As sdavis said: “Please strengthen your relationship with God”. I feel the time may be soon upon us when that is all that we will have to sustain us!

    Psalm 25:5 (KJV)
    5. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

    Maranatha!

    • JohnMcTernan says:

I debated with myself over posting the picture, but I felt it was needed in connection with the football player being fined etc.

  9. Gary B says:

It seems like most people have an unbiblical view of who and what God is, or, they deny His existence altogether. This unrealistic view of God leads to either a mischaracterization of morality, or a denial of morality. But I find that even among the atheists, they don’t want to give up morality. They just want to use it how they want. When I tell them that if there is no God, then there can be no morality, I almost always get an argument. They insist that morality is invented and defined by people, and can change whenever enough people agree to change it. And they often confuse civil law with moral law. I try pointing out that only God has the authority to define morality, and the ability to enforce it, but it is rare that any of them will agree.

The atheists who have figured out that if there is no God, then there is no morality, no purpose for anything, and no meaning in anything, all become nihilists. Life for them is just to do what pleases them and they see death as the end of their purposeless existence. While most atheists see death as the end of them, most of them still want to believe that life has some meaning, even if it is just what they give their own. It is hard to get them to face the logical conclusions of what they believe. I suppose the truth is too painful for them to face.

Those who promote homosexuality and homo-marriage, but claim to be Christians or at least theists, think of God as a loving person who made everyone as they are, and who won’t condemn anyone, except people who actually believe what the Bible says. Real Christians are seen as the bigoted, mean-spirited enemy. If there is a hell, they say that “fundamentalist Christians” will be the ones who go there.

So those are the people who are pushing evil on America. They hate real Christians, and I have no doubt that they will harm us, if they can.

  10. PJC says:

Thank you for your sobering messages. You remind me of David Wilkerson who was truly a voice crying in the wilderness…. the time is short

    • JohnMcTernan says:

It is very short as God has given America over to the reprobates as the church refuses to stand.

  11. Barbara in VA says:

When I commented that I found the gay’s kissing picture offensive, I did not intend to criticize John for posting that picture. I should have been more careful with my words–I was offended the first time I saw that picture several days ago. I was offended that those men were openly displaying their lifestyle. I was offended because the NFL is evidently supporting them over and above a player who chose to say how he felt about it. I am offended that the NFL would go against free speech and fine that player and have him attend “brainwashing classes”. I am offended that anyone who speaks against the homosexual lifestyle is punished in some way by their employers or their banks, etc. If anything scares me today, it is the hold that the enemy now has over the right of anyone, Christian or not, to express their opinions about anything!

For at least two years (or more) now I have watched in horror as our elected government is following Hitler’s “playbook”. For those who have never bothered to learn about what happened in Nazi Germany, you will not see the resemblance to that and what is happening in our once great nation. It is like the frog in the pot who did not know the water was getting hotter and hotter until it was too late! I think John said it or wrote it–until there is a Kristallnacht against Christians and political dissenters here in the US, and then it will be too late!

    God bless and protect us!

    Psalm 91:3-4 (KJV)
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

    Maranatha!

  12. Dan.w says:

I believe each of us will have our opportunity to stand and give witness to our faith,it’s that late. This society is like a rerun of the mid 1930’s,when denial by the average german citizen of what transpired in their midst, was at it’s peak.We are watching mass denial on a grand scale.Real and false Christians never has been so easy to tell apart. We have been born for such a time as this. It’s name it and claim it…or no other Name.

  13. Lori says:

John, I believe everything you say that is already here and intensifying as far as Christians being persecuted verbally, physically, and the authorities will back it up. It didn’t happen overnight, but it’s gaining force like a hurricane. It’s frightening to think about and I truly grieve for this once great America. This might sound kind of odd, but when I hear and see these things coming to pass, it makes me feel more comfort that the Lord took my mother home to heaven, she wouldn’t have wanted to be here to see it all. She got to where she couldn’t watch the news for at least the last 4 years. I’m truly enjoying your book “As America Has Done To Israel”, can’t believe how much I’m learning about the Jewish people, it’s great!! Lord bless you, Lori

  14. Denise says:

I used to teach an in-depth unit on the Holocaust, and the comparisons you are making our so true–except the Nazis killed their homosexuals. They also killed the young, the old, the mentally ill, and anyone who politically disagreed with them. They forced abortions, too. (Did you see woman in the news, Emily Letts, who filmed her abortion? Some say it was a stunt, but, still, her callousness toward life made me ill.)

We’ve already seen euthanasia in other countries and similar cases here (i.e.,Terry Shaivo).
Sarah Palin was mocked for talking about Obamacare death panels, but the Veterans’ mistreatment proves this isn’t far away. Just think about what’s going on with Justina Pelltier, taken from her parents who have no say in her medical treatment. She wasn’t even able to see her mom on Mother’s Day.

Bystanders let the Holocaust happen. History is repeating itself. However, Nuremberg will look like a picnic when the judgment comes.

    Maranatha

    • JohnMcTernan says:

The Nazis went after effeminate homosexuals but not the ones that appeared masculine.
The Nazi party was riddled with homosexuals and Hitler was bisexual.

  15. Gary B says:

On the way home from church tonight, I happened to hear two non-Christians who lean conservative politically discussing the status of the USA on the radio. They both thought things were bad. One of them said he thinks it will take a financial catastrophe, or another civil war, to get things back on the right track. It seems a lot of people are expecting some very bad things to happen in the near future. But the non-Christians believe things will go on. They don’t expect God’s wrath. They don’t expect the anti-Christ. They expect some serious problems followed by a do-over. And they are not looking for Jesus to return.

  16. Dan.w says:

I see the downhill slide..[freefall],in America, and worldwide morally, and it’s a heartbreak.I remember some years ago reading a book I believe was called ‘Death of a nation’.It showed the cycle of nations, and how they tended to go one way..downward….It went something like this…monarchy,republic,democracy,anarchy,chaos..repeat.I believe the author was named marshall.I wonder..has anyone else read this book? Please brothers/sisters…do not lose hope.In the end Christ is victor, and He has work for us to do,now, today.Father God,give us the resolve to be the church, without reservation or apology…Let Jesus shine through in each of us to His glory,Amen.

  17. I wonder what the moral outrage was from true believers when no-fault divorce and abortion were legalized. Is homosexuality another of those sins that eventually the lukewarm church will cave to and put behind them in the way they now think of abortion and adulterous relationships born of no-fault divorce? Will this release the pressure the Hard Left feels they need to apply to us since true believers will have been sufficiently marginalized as to render our threat negligent? Seems like the path of the remnant throughout history.

By the way, I read your book, “As America Has Done to Israel” too, great book. Also loved “Ordinances of the Amorites”, a compelling read. I do see the pattern of judgment for sin. Is homosexuality enough to push God to action? It could / is going to get a lot worse.

Just some thoughts, wondering what you think.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

You are 100% as the slide did not just begin.
The church has been in full retreat for decades now.
We need a real bonifide revival from on high and now.

  18. Jackie B. says:

I applaud and support everything you have said! I am tired of people saying and acting like this abomination is just fine. To these gay and lesbian groups DO NOT ASK ME TO DENIE MY GOD ,MY LORD AND SAVIOR, MY RELIGIOUS AND MORAL BELIEVES TO ACCOMIDATE YOUR LIFESTLYE OF PURE SIN….AGAINST THE WORD OF GOD, I will not bow down to these people ,….I will die if I have to but I will die preaching and believing the word of God! These people need to wake up….Gods wrath is very near.
I thank God that my eyes are wide open and iam fully spiritually awake….thank u Jesus! May God have mercy on us all

  19. Debra Lukas says:

Mr. McT. I had to move into city and I cannot find a church where the pastor has a passion for Christ. I have visited many churches and none of them pray for Israel, pray over the people of the church or the tithes. I cannot find a godly church and it makes me sad that I have no place to worship. I agree with you the churches are not like they use to be. I get more out of pastors on tv and that is so sad.Pastor Tim at cornerstone church in highland is truly a man of God and I miss him so. He has a passion for Christ and his people. One church had no cross so I just left.
    Debra Lukas-Mich

    • JohnMcTernan says:

This is all over the country.
The church seems to be melting away.
The closer to the Lord’s coming the colder it seems many are becoming, but NOT US.
We will stay hot for the Lord until the very end.
      God bless you.

  20. Sandra says:

    John..

I was also dismayed when I read Matts post. The left has already ,almost taken Christ out of Christmas. It is now a winter celebration and they have even demonized frosty the snowman equating that with Christ. Thanksgiving once was a Christian holiday with everything being closed. Stores now open all day Thanksgiving for early shopping. We have organizations trying to get “one nation under God” out of the Pledge of Allegiance and also off of our currency. ( I think they would succeed. but they would have to print more money).

A fact is that Christians watch porn and gamble on the internet as much as the secular world. Divorce is as rampant with Christians as much as it is with “the world” .

Remember when a bible study was disrupted and told they could now meetb any more? I can’t remember why, but I do remember the incident.

Every Christian here could go on and on as to how Christians are demonized, and I don’t see any (but a few) standing up for Christ.

  21. Gary B says:

John, bush appointed judge jones just ruled that sodomite “marriage” is now legal in Pennsylvania. Yesterday, it was ruled legal in Oregon. This process is going fast now. Every state is under attack. All of the federal judges are fully in the homosexual camp. Might see the entire country legalize this filth before the year is out.

If it won’t get through congress, I expect Hussein Obama to issue an executive order this summer making opposition to anything homosexual a crime. And I expect the courts to uphold the legality of his order. There is a big rush to promote all things homosexual, so I expect all of this sodomite filth to happen within the next few months.

  22. Matt says:

    John,
Don’t be saddened by my post. Sandra don’t be dismayed by my post. All is not lost. Jesus, himself, promised in Matthew 16:18 that the gates of Hell will not prevail against my Church. The Hard left has been trying to destroy Christianity for for centuries but have never prevailed. God will not permit it. I assure you that Churches, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Good Friday, will continue to be celebrated in America and the Gospel will continue to be spread to all corners of the World.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

Try telling this story to Christians who survive the Nazis, Communists or the French Revolution.
You really do not have a clue of what is coming.
God does not want us slaughtered but with the current attitude of so many Christians that live without the fear of God and intercession,
the slaughter is on the way.

  23. Sandra says:

    Matt…

Would you have believed as little as 5 years ago that homosexuality marriage would be legal in almost every state in this once Christian country? And I believe it soon will be illegal to oppose it.

The Gospel will get preached but it may not be from the USA..In order to spread the “good news” we need to know and believe it.

Chrislam is rampant in this country and being preached from the pulpit in many churches.

The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom. No fear…no wisdom.

  24. Gloria Curry says:

Evil prevails when good men do nothing!

  25. Mary E. says:

    Debra,
I know how you feel. I’ve been looking for a good church for quite awhile. Until that happens, I have found a great Pastor on You Tube. His name is J.D. Farag. He pastors a church in Hawaii and keeps up on prophecy. Just type in his name on YT and go to his page. If you subscribe you will get notices of his latest videos. Between Pastor Farag and John’s radio shows, I feel I am well informed. By the way John, my buddy Barbara just emailed me today to say Pastor Farag gave your book, As America Has Done To Israel, a big endorsement on his latest video.

  26. sdavis117 says:

Matt, what about the Christians being slaughtered in the Middle East, Africa and China? Why do you think that the Christians in the US will be protected, especially since this country has turned it’s back on God in so many ways. It’s also turning against Israel too. We’ve been protected for all these years because we honored God, His Word and His people. Now the country as a whole is turning it’s back on all three. Many in the Church have become lukewarm and the one thing that intensifies passion the most is persecution. It was the vehicle that helped spread the Gospel in the early Church and it may be the thing that brings the final move of the Spirit before Jesus comes back. The Church won’t be fully defeated, but persecution is a very realistic possibility.

    • JohnMcTernan says:

His thinking is typical American Christian and this is why we are trouble with the Lord.

  27. Dan.w says:

As far as the Nazi/homosexual connection…homosexuals were both hunted and the hunter in that era.Hitler had his homosexual soldiers, and they were barberous and exceedingly cruel.Hitler, like the devil, played both sides of the fence.About the true believers and the coming persecution,We will NOT lay down for New Sodom.I realize Peter denied the Lord thrice before the rooster crowed,…but I believe all who love our Lord and take Him and His Word seriously, will take a stand…even if the ‘hill’ to die on comes to a believer near you….It may be you or me,and this train of evil is coming so fast,it may be easier to take a stand, than to try and jump out of the way.I try and be led to share my faith with all…homosexual or otherwise. Some have said all sin is equal…in that it offends a Holy God ,yes…but sexual sins, and sins against children really grieve God at His heart, and unless repentance is in the mix, pity the one who has not repented. Our God is a patient God….but the stench has reached Heaven..and He has to act, based on His Holiness.Thank you Father God for Your Son,Our Savior, our only Hope…Jesus.Don’t let us hide in the tall grass…cut it down if you must,so Your perfect plan and will be done,Amen. Dan.w

  28. Matt says:

Sandra, homosexual marriage is legal in only 18 states and not all States. I am a Catholic and Chrislam is never preached at the pulpit. John and sdavis117, Americans are armed to the teeth as opposed to Arabs, Russians, Chinese, French, and Germans, who are defenseless.

  29. Barbara in VA says:

Matt: I am totally blown away by your comment #40! Are you thinking that “armed to the teeth” is going to protect all Christians in America? Do you really believe that is going to keep our Holy God from sending judgment to this country (starting with the churches probably) when our nation has accepted as OK all forms of unholy behavior from abortion to homosexuality and when our government is even trying to make it a crime to speak out against these immoral things?

When I was a child (about 9 or 10), I was told something in Sunday School that I have never forgotten. The teacher said that America will probably not ever be taken by an outside enemy, but would fall from within. It was years before I finally started understanding that statement. Matt, we are there! Open your eyes, man, and consider the whole picture outside your little comfort zone. Read the Bible (KJV) and try to understand prophecy! Just for example, think of the thousands of old widow ladies (like myself) who live alone. Are your guns going to protect us if there are riots in the streets and the raiding of private homes from starving people who are looking for food? Just to make something clear here–I am definitely pro-2nd amendment rights, but those guns are not going to help the spiritual battle that we are in.

As John has been reminding us again and again, our protection and our shelter is in our most Holy God! We need have no fear of what is happening, but we surely do need to have our eyes open to know and understand what is happening and what is coming!

May God bless you and all of us!

    Titus 2:13 (KJV)

It will be rough and trying at times, but in the end it will be so wonderful, for eternity. Praise God…

  31. Barbara in VA says:

Just now, I was looking through some papers piled up on my desk and I found the bulletin of a church I had visited on Nov. 6, 2011. I had saved this bulletin for what was written on the back. I don’t know the author of the article, but it was so timely:

    Can It Happen Here?

“Some thirty years ago Leon Jaworski, greatly disturbed by what he heard and saw as chief prosecutor of Nazi war criminals, asked himself, “Could these horrible things happen in America?”

He said, “I could not help but wonder whether my native land America is immune from encroachment of moral deterioration that might threaten its very foundation. Apathy and indifference to the wrongdoing of political leaders and acquiescence in their evil practices can prove to be as harmful as active assistance. No nation, no matter how powerful and great and whatever be its form of government, can long withstand the stranglehold of moral deterioration in its people!”

There was another paragraph, but the above shows that even thirty some years ago there was someone concerned about the signs of moral lapse in our country. Sadly, what Leon Jaworski said has turn out to be prophetic.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Galatians 5:13 KJV

    Maranatha!

  32. Mary E. says:

AMEN, Barbara! I assume Mr. Jaworski is no longer with us and sadly if he were, he probably would not be surprised.

  35. Dan.w says:

Sister Barb,#40 post is very well said.God bless you,Dan.w

  36. Matt says:

    Barbara,

Jesus tells us to prepare even with temporal things, such as money and provisions (food, water, supplies) for the end times. He even suggests that some persons should buy a weapon (for self-defense).

    [Luke]
{22:35} “When I sent you without money or provisions or shoes, did you lack anything?”
{22:36} And they said, “Nothing.” Then he said to them: “But now, let whoever has money take it, and likewise with provisions. And whoever does not have these, let him sell his coat and buy a sword.
{22:37} For I say to you, that what has been written must still be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was esteemed with the wicked.’ Yet even these things about me have an end.”

  37. Barbara in VA says:

Matt, I know all about having an extra supply of food and water for emergency situations. I’ve even encouraged people to store food and water. As for those verses in Luke, I am familiar with those also, but have not studied them in context; so I have problems with using those verses as a reason to have guns. The thing that bothered me was your “armed to the teeth” statement as though that were the solution to any problems that may arise. Things are already bad and Christians have really been ridiculed and marginalized for years now in the public schools, at work, etc. But we haven’t seen anything yet! And the guns are not going to stop what is in full motion already against Christians, and real Christianity.

What I suggested to you, Matt, is that you look beyond your local church and neighborhood, and definitely beyond the national news, etc. to see the whole picture. If you are new to John’s blog (I think I’ve read your comments on another blog), then you will have a lot of catching up to do to know what is happening in the world to indicate that time is short and prophecy is being fulfilled regardless. We can pray for God’s mercy on His children, but we will not stop nor delay God’s plan for this age. Also, I believe in self-defense, but I would still ask the question: How many people are you going to shoot dead to protect your “things”?

The good news is that, as God’s children, saved by the shedding of His only begotten Son’s blood on that hateful cross, we have His promises to be with us in all things. And most exciting of all, we have The Blessed Hope!

    Titus 2:13 (KJV)
    13. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 (KJV)
    17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

    18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

    God bless you, Matt!

    Maranatha!
