And still the church is silent…Come Lord Jesus..

So when you say “the church”, who are you speaking of? Do you expect the leadership of an organization to speak to the press? Who in your estimation is “the church”? If “the church” to you is those buildings where Sunday entertainment is provided and there may be readings from The Bible as though it were a book of spells to a self serving god, then you are right, that “church” is indeed silent.

Every group of Christians I know is praying for the coming of our Lord Jesus, for peace in Jerusalem, for the Children of Israel. My Church is certainly not silent. But indeed, Come Lord Jesus.

You live in a blessed bubble if every Christian group around is praying like you said.
Count yourself blessed and this is NOT the state of the vast majority.

With events heating up in Israel, I thought I would pass on a link to an online English speaking tv news site, in Israel. I no longer depend on the US media to give sufficient or un-biased coverage where Israel is concerned.

  4. Danielle says:

Tx to Mary E. For that link … The US media is …well… I really can’t say it out loud … grrrrrrr ! Be blessed, not stressed and keep looking up people. Just hold on bc we will see HIM soon 🙂

the news today was not good… Abbas from Gaza (the land we made Israel give back) is raining bombs on Jerusalem , God needs to take out at least the east wing of the white house and the supreme court building (killing babies) (storms over the white house) because our country the good old USA, told Israel to give back the land won in the war, Gods going to put on your head what we have done to Israel, I pray that God will either save these people or take them out of office, lets pray that God of Abraham will save us and get this nation to REPENT, I do not think most Americans really know just how ungodly this USA is. We are going to be more accountable than any other nation in the past because we know the BIBLE. At least we think we do (know the bible).

  6. Sandra says:

Jill.. WE are the church but it seems too many in leadership have compromised their beliefs. Chrislam is rampant..Pastors are looking for numbers and are turning their church buildings into country clubs..Seems it is no longer “nice” to talk about sin and repentance. I have heard Pastors on TV say there are many ways to get to God.. even the Pope says that even atheists are going to heaven. They have taken Gods love out of context and forgotten Gods justice. Pastors are saying that homosexual marriages are fine and even marrying them. At least one denomination has a homosexual Bishop. Some have taken the Bible and made God a female. There is one denomination that does “grave sucking” they lay on the grave of a believer and try to suck up the Holy Spirit powers of their dead bones..

They have made the Cross irrelevant and of no avail.

Sure there are some good churches but it seems they are getting harder and harder to find.

  7. Dan.w says:

Yes,there are good churches out there, but unbelievers don’t check in or tune in,so its like ‘preaching to the choir’..and if we as the church, leave ‘it there’,and not take our Christ to the streets,or marketplace of idea’s..it has little to no effect on the world around us.There really are great teachers and preachers…but the laypeople have got to stop ‘laying’,and get to work.I’m not satisfied keeping Jesus to myself, and most of you out there are not either.Christian is an action word. Please preachers and teachers..get the ones who have fed on milk long enough,on their feet and give them marching orders, show them the pew is not a place to live, but a temporary seat to get equipped to do spiritual battle. We are supposed to help the pastor with the heavy lifting…He’s not a babysitter for those who refuse to grow up and eat spiritual meat..Amen,anyone?……..God bless all you pastors and teachers who don’t back down, and tell it like it is,Dan.w

We are the church. Those of us who know Him and are His followers, WE are the church. All those you described clearly are not the church, as we can know by their fruit. The believers I know, my church, are definitely not silent. We are small, but not silent.

  9. Brian says:

Jill (Post No. 10) makes a good point here. The “church” is NOT a building or a particular denomination. The church is a group of people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. They have accepted His sacrifice on Calvary’s cross and understand there is nothing we can do to merit His love. But God, in His great love and mercy for us, has paid the penalty for our sin that we could never pay, and reconciled Himself to us through Jesus Christ our Lord. As His followers, it’s up to us to live out our faith, being salt and light in this dark world. We cannot atone for the sins of others that go on around us. What we can do, though, is be the light of Jesus in their lives and let the Holy Spirit convict them of their sin and bring them to saving faith in Christ.

    Amen, Dan…..well said.

  11. Dan.w says:

    Amen,and 100% correct,Jill and Brian.God bless you both.As brother John might say…Christianity is not a religion,but a person…Jesus Christ.

There is still church’s that preach the whole council of God in the cities but, more are in the rural area’s w/out 501(3)c’s! It may be worth driving that extra 40 – 60 mile’s, or start a home church while rotating 10/20’s. Also carpool (less car’s in drive or street) & trust the Lord at His Word. We’ll be forced underground, when thing’s go further south, Christian’s have to congregate, we need to encourage one another, especially those young in Christ! The Body always grows under persecution, the world watches our action’s during these times. It’s a powerful tool for the Lord’s Kingdom!
*Remember, the Body of Christ is made up w/a variety of personalities w/unique gifts, we nee them all!
*My grand daughter’s wedding (last weekend) was totally awesome w/several ethnic sisters & brothers in attendance (some wealthy, some not so) but the pre wed music was Heavenly, so was the wedding and the love of all was of God.
*It’s sickening that we have those who want to belittle this institution the Lord has made! Pastor Kelly, well, we all remember, the unions of man & woman is of God!

    God love you
    all, if His people
    only could see
    the invisible (angelic) world,
    we’d all be out there
    on the front lines!!!!!!!

    …Heb 13:6…

Thank you Mary E for that link. I was sitting in a doctor’s office waiting room (for my Mom’s appointment) and the TV was on CNN. They were covering the Middle East crisis. I wanted to scream at the TV but stifled it. Didn’t think anyone else there would appreciate it.

Just thought I would share this article I read today which ties into Brother John’s 666 surveillance system teachings:

Remote-Controlled Chip Implanted Under Woman’s Skin Could Deliver Birth Control For Up To 16 Years:

“a chip has been developed that is capable of being used as a contraceptive or for other drug administration purposes once placed under the skin.

As part of the Bill & Miranda Gates Foundation Family Planning program, a team led by MIT’s Robert Langer has proposed that the chip be used to deliver birth control to women.

The company MicroCHIPS in Lexington, Massachusetts developed a chip that is a 20 x 20 x 7 millimeter reservoir array which could be used to deliver birth control to women for 16 years once placed under the skin.”

Ever since the headlines about Ashkelon and Ashdod being attacked by rockets from the Gaza, and reading someone’s comment about the prophecy in Zephaniah 2:4 (KJV) “For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.”, I have not been able to get this out of my mind. Will this be the result of what is happening in Israel right now?! Not knowing where Ekron was, I searched online and found this website that gives this info: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Archaeology/Ekron.html

For quite some time, I have been “looking up” and longing for Jesus to come for His bride. And that is still my hope and our Lord and King, Jesus’ is my joy! But when I think of the carnage that is to come my heart just mourns for those who will be the victims of the wars that are coming and also for the victims of what is happening right now.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEyujOSEexM I think this video was made in 1990. I had never seen it before today. Whether or not you care for Johnny Cash, this seems to have been very prophetic–title of the song “Going By The Book”!

    Revelation 22:20
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Hello Dan, she seems to have gotten some sort of dementia and allergies from a rabies shot that was legally mandated. She is about 14, and thats old for her breed. But this came on very fast. She is sensitive to noises really bad now. She hates blogtalk, the neighbors sprinklers, my sprinklers, the children playing in the area, and the fireworks were the worst. Her skin bothers her and she is chewing her fur off of her legs. She even can hear my fingers on the keyboard. So she scratches at me to try to get me to stop. I am supplementing her diet, flax oil, probiotics, etc. I cant even wind the clocks that chime!!! She has to be by my side 24/7 as her anxiety is sky high. I am not sure what to do for the winter. It will be too cold for her to go out I think. I may have to make a decision soon, and I dread that day.
My son was in High School when we got her. Now he is 30. I bathed her in an apple cider vinegar and baking soda bath last week, all 40 lbs of her, and it seemed to give her some relief. She and I didnt have a lot of fun, but the result was good. Thank you for asking, and praying.
    God Bless us all,

LOL Irene….been in the same situation!…Unrestrained at home.

Barbara in VA – thank you for the link to that Johnny Cash song. I have also never heard it before and I’ve listened to a lot of his songs. Very prophetic. Yes, that trumpet is going to sound soon and we had better be ready.

Mary E – I had to chuckle when I think about both of us (and probably many more) yelling at the TV simultainously. I have been known to make my cats jump and my mom and husband come running.

    God Bless and Maranatha

  22. Mary E. says:

So sorry about your dog. For high stress situations, I personally use a supplement called, L-Theanine. Just recently, I was looking in a pet catalog and noticed L-Theanine for canine use. It may be something to check out. One of my dogs goes nuts when my cell phone rings and will pace the whole time I am on the phone, so I am considering the supplement for her.

Irene, my cats are no longer fazed by my loud (and appropriate) reaction to the msm…lol!

  23. Joni says:

@Mary E, Thank you I will look into that.
I was introduced to it once in a health food store in something called matcha tea I think. I will see if I can get it in powder form, and sprinkle it on their yogurt.
The animals are feeling the world fall apart and decay too I think. They will be relieved to be free of this mess too, in my mind anyways.
Pastor Don’s book has a very interesting chapter about the animals in the end days. How they have become very violent to mankind. The shark attacks, bears, even dogs. The local police in my town, a lush resort town really, shot and killed a man’s lab mix through the window of his van the other day, all while the man was in a restaurant having breakfast. The story was heartwrenching, as the dog was not really able to get out to attack the officer. Nor was the dog a pitbull as the first reports indicated.
I think we are all ready to go home.
    God Bless us all,
