God in the 4th of July
Psalm 144:15
Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
Commentary
I would like to remind everyone that in the Declaration of Independence their are four references to God. America’s independence was based upon the Lord and the founding fathers actually called on God for his blessings and help. Please keep this in mind, and let no one try and strip away our Christian heritage. The Hard Left literally hates and despises our Christian heritage and is trying all they can do to strip away our Christian roots. They hate anything and person that is connected to the Lord.
We have a special heritage anchored in God as shown in the Declaration of Independence.
The four references to God were connected to:
God controls the laws of nature.
God is the Creator and has given us unalienable rights. (Our rights do not come from the Supreme Court or the government but God)
God is the Supreme Judge of the world and does what is right.
God is our Divine Providence and thus our protector.

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…

Since I was a kid, I loved the 4th of July. There always was a parade with lots of fire trucks and marching bands with flags and the red, white and blue bunting. The family always got together. There was a barbecue and we played horse shoes. It was summer and I loved the heat. I think my favorite was we always had a huge watermelon which is my favorite fruit.
Things have not changed since I was a child. I still have a big soft spot in my heart for the 4th of July. This current holiday is special because Obama is gone, and President Trump is in office! We have a our nation back.
