Israel at War: The Day of the Lord is Near: March 9, 2025
Obadiah 1:15
For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done (to Israel), it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
About 30 years ago, I begin to preach about the Day of the Lord is Near as found in the Book of Obadiah. In my best selling book As America Has Done to Israel, I included a chapter about the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord is a reference in the Bible to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Obadiah gives a clear indicator to the immanent Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The key event is when Israel enters into an all-out battle with the Palestinians in which none of them survive.
I believe the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, and the subsequent war was the trigger for the battle described in Obadiah. This blog will keep you on the cutting edge of events leading to proving the Day of the Lord is Near and soon Second Coming of Jesus Christ. This can be proved by the Bible.
Obadiah 1:18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.
Hamas even named the attack and war they started. It was call: Operation Al Aqsa Flood! This means the Temple Mount in Jerusalem! All the wars triggered by Hamas’ attack are heading towards Jerusalem where God will bring his final judgment on Islam. Incredible events are soon about to unfold, but if you understand Bible prophecy you know how it is going to end.

*Iran Issues “Final Warning” To U.S. and Israel
From article:”The government of Iran has issued a “Final Warning” to the United States and to Israel concerning the likely pending attack by those countries, against Iran. The Iran government said “An attack on Iran is tantamount to the destruction of all US bases in the region and the destruction of all Israeli nuclear facilities.” This comes just days after US President Donald Trump sent a letter to the Ayatolla Khameinei seeking to engage Iran in nuclear negotiations. According to Trump, the letter made clear that if Iran does not enter negotiations, it may get bombed.
Iran REJECTED Trump’s reported offer, saying Iran will not negotiate while it is being aggressively Sanctioned and threatened by the United States. With today’s “Final Warning” from Iran, the stakes are now crystal clear. Iran does have the missile capability to reach and smash US bases throughout the entire Middle East region, and to attack all of Israel, including its nuclear facilities at Dimona. Complicating this situation dramatically is that Iran is a military ally of Russia. Nothing about this situation is good. If the US and Israel attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, it seems clear that Iran will strike back. If/when Iran strikes back, it appears – at least on the surface – all hell is likely to break loose. This situation could literally explode onto the world — without any warning — within days.”

The group of Christian Zionists believes that Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank would foster other biblical promises, such as an apocalypse that brings about the second coming of Jesus Christ, the Times reported. “We Christians are calling on our beloved President Trump and his team to aggressively remove all barriers to Israel’s sovereignty over all the land, including Judea and Samaria,” said Terri Copeland Pearsons, a pastor and president of Texas Bible College, last Thursday at the National Religious Broadcasters convention in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs.”
Trump: ‘We’re down to the final moments with Iran’
