Israel at War: The Day of the Lord is Near: November 28, 2024
Obadiah 1:15
For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done (to Israel), it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
About 30 years ago, I begin to preach about the Day of the Lord is Near as found in the Book of Obadiah. In my best selling book As America Has Done to Israel, I included a chapter about the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord is a reference in the Bible to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Obadiah gives a clear indicator to the immanent Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The key event is when Israel enters into an all-out battle with the Palestinians in which none of them survive.
I believe the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, and the subsequent war was the trigger for the battle described in Obadiah. This blog will keep you on the cutting edge of events leading to proving the Day of the Lord is Near and soon Second Coming of Jesus Christ. This can be proved by the Bible.
Obadiah 1:18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.
Hamas even named the attack and war they started. It was call: Operation Al Aqsa Flood! This means the Temple Mount in Jerusalem! All the wars triggered by Hamas’ attack are heading towards Jerusalem where God will bring his final judgment on Islam. Incredible events are soon about to unfold, but if you understand Bible prophecy you know how it is going to end.

Zechariah 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
ISRAEL: Latest Update (The * is for the latest postings)
*Amsterdam ‘Jew hunt’ triggers push for Dutch Jewish migration to Israel The Lord wants his people back in the land of Israel. The Muslims are his agents to get the Jews home for the end times prophecy.
From article:”Maaike Smole, a 48-year-old college policy worker from the central Dutch city of Amersfoort, no longer has any hope that there is a future for Jews in her country. “It’s too late. The Netherlands are schluss,” she said, using a Yiddish term for “closed,” or “over.” “Education has failed, integration [of Muslim minorities] has failed. Respect for us Jews has disappeared and will never come back. There are simply too few of us, the other side is so much larger and more aggressive. All that’s left to do is to count down to our aliyah,” Smole said, using the Hebrew term for immigration to Israel.”
*Israel’s Thanksgiving Message: ‘Thank You to the United States of America’
From article:”Israeli government spokesman David Mencer wished the American people, and the U.S. government, a happy Thanksgiving, adding that the State of Israel was thankful for the enduring support of the American people. “We are very grateful for the ironclad commitment and friendship and union with the United States of America,” Mencer said. “They have stood by our side in difficult times and in good times, none more so than in the last 419 days.”
*‘Palestinian’ Orthodox archbishop excoriates Huckabee, rejects ‘Christian Zionism’
From article:Huckabee stated,”“Zionism is a racist and terrorist movement responsible for the disasters and setbacks our people have faced”? Has the archbishop ever heard of Islamic jihad? Of course he has, but he doesn’t mention it at all, and is not known for calling it out. Why not? His people live among Muslims, and he knows they’ll be attacked if he says anything about jihad. He also knows that he can criticize Zionism all day long and he will not be in any danger for doing so.”
*Israel Announces Ceasefire in Lebanon as a Gift to President Trump
From article:”Israel announced on Tuesday a ceasefire with Lebanon in their war against Iranian-backed Hezbollah. Israel authorities called it a gift to Trump. An Israeli official spoke with President Trump and Jared Kushner at Mar-a-Lago before speaking with the lame duck Biden White House.”
*What Does the Israel-Hezbollah Agreement Say?
From article:”• Hezbollah and all other armed groups present on Lebanese territory will refrain from conducting any offensive actions against Israel.
• In return, Israel will not carry out any military offensive against targets in Lebanon, whether on land, in the air, or at sea.
• Both Israel and Lebanon recognize the importance of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701.
• These commitments do not waive Israel’s and Lebanon’s inherent right to self-defense.
• The Lebanese security forces and the Lebanese Army will be the only entities authorized to carry weapons or deploy troops in southern Lebanon.
• The sale, provision, or production of weapons and related material in Lebanon will be supervised by the Lebanese government.
• All unauthorized facilities related to the production of weapons and related materials will be dismantled.
• All non-compliant military infrastructure and positions will be dismantled, and all unauthorized weapons will be confiscated.
• A committee approved by both Israel and Lebanon will be established to oversee and assist in the implementation of these commitments.
• Israel and Lebanon will report any violations of these commitments to the committee and to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
• Lebanon will deploy official security forces and the Lebanese Army along all border crossing points and the defined line for the southern zone, as outlined in the deployment plan.
• Israel will gradually withdraw from the southern zone of the Blue Line within a period of up to 60 days.
• The United States will enhance indirect negotiations between Israel and Lebanon to achieve an internationally recognized delineation of the land border.”
*The returning threat: How the IDF disabled Hezbollah’s ability to rearm – analysis
From article:”“We degraded Hezbollah’s launch capabilities, struck its strategic assets, eliminated its leadership, and damaged its command and control chain,” IDF Spokesperson R.-Adm. Daniel Hagari said Wednesday. “We have also targeted its ability to rearm and resupply, and we have severely disrupted its ability to carry out its planned infiltration into our territory – a plan it had meticulously prepared to carry out.”
*Here’s how the US and Israel could thwart Iran’s nuclear efforts under a new Trump administration
From article:”Trump has said he does not want Iran to have nuclear weapons, but has not laid out how he would stop it from doing so. “I’m not looking to be bad to Iran, we’re going to be friendly, I hope, with Iran, maybe, but maybe not. But we’re going to be friendly, I hope, we’re going to be friendly, but they can’t have a nuclear weapon,” he said at a New Jersey press conference in August. Last month, Trump suggested Israel strike Iran’s nuclear facilities. Following the Iranian missile attacks, he suggested Israel should “hit the nuclear first and worry about the rest later.”
37% of Senate Dems Voted for an Arms Embargo on Israel
From article:”Sen. Bernie Sanders, a socialist with a history of sympathizing with the USSR, Cuba and other Communist dictatorships, and of militantly opposing Israel and pandering to antisemites, introduced several resolutions to implement a partial arms embargo on Israel. Only 31 Senate Democrats voted against it. 19 voted for some of them. Sen. Tammy Baldwin did not vote. 37% of Senate Dems, more than a third, voted for an arms embargo on Israel. This is where the party is at.”
From article:”
- [A]fter 13 months of futile ceasefire negotiations, many Israelis appear to have trouble realizing that if Hamas and its backers, Iran and Qatar, so wished, the hostages would be home by now.
- If the priority of Israeli progressives were to rescue the hostages, they would demand that Hamas release them. “The slogan for freeing the hostages,” wrote British journalist Douglas Murray, “… should never have been ‘Being them home.’ It should be ‘Give them back.’ Now.”
- Murray has also noted that for years, the Biden administration has put all its efforts into trying to oust Netanyahu when it would probably have been better off putting all its efforts into ousting the Iranian regime.”
Turkey hosting Hamas signals resurgence of Muslim Brotherhood ideology
From article:”According to Israel’s Kan public broadcasting corporation, senior members of Hamas’s leadership relocated to Turkey following their recent expulsion from Doha. This report was confirmed by a senior Arab diplomat. These reports came after American sources confirmed that Qatar had expelled Hamas leadership, which had been hosted in the country since 2012. On Tuesday, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari confirmed these reports at a press conference, stating, “The leaders of Hamas that are within the negotiating team are now not in Doha. What I can tell you very clearly is that the office of Hamas in Doha was created for the sake of the negotiating process. When there is no mediation process, the office itself doesn’t have any function.”
Haaretz publisher calls Palestinian terrorists ‘freedom fighters’ in newly revealed speech
From article:”In his October 8 speech, Schocken stated: “The Netanyahu government wants to continue and intensify illegal settlement in the territories that were meant for a Palestinian state. It doesn’t care about imposing a cruel apartheid regime on the Palestinian population. It dismisses the costs of both sides for defending the settlements while fighting the Palestinian freedom fighters that Israel calls terrorists.” “A Palestinian state must be established, and the only way to achieve this is by applying sanctions against Israel’s leaders and settlers in the occupied territories.”
Trump Team Already Preparing Steps to Challenge ICC
From article:”Actions have consequences. President-elect Donald Trump’s team is acting on that ethos and preparing to challenge the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague with sanctions after it initiated arrest warrants against Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.”
Hamas Must Be Defeated, Not Legitimized
From article:”The Biden administration chose to turn a blind eye to Abbas’s efforts to legitimize Hamas. The US offered it a lifeline. A terror group committed to the elimination of Israel should have no role in any Palestinian government — not in the West Bank and certainly not in the Gaza Strip. Such a group should be completely destroyed militarily and politically, and not invited to join any Palestinian government. As long as Iran’s regime remains in place, torturing both its own people and others… there regrettably will be no peace. That is the only way to secure a truly peaceful future, not only for Israelis but for Palestinians and the Free World.”
Terrorist Convicted of Murdering Jews Teaches ‘Social Justice’ in Canada
From article:”The Jerusalem Post on Monday reported a Lebanese professor of sociology named Dr. Hassan Diab, convicted by a French court of involvement in a 1980 bombing that killed four people at a synagogue in Paris, is teaching a course on “social justice in action” at Carleton University in Ottawa. Diab is not just one of those radical university professors with some dark business in his distant past – he is an active fugitive from international justice, with an outstanding warrant for his arrest from France on terrorism charges.”
Iran focused on Syria as lynchpin of ‘resistance’ axis – analysis
From article:”Velayati went on to say that “Syria has played a critical role in the fight against the Zionists and stands as the principal link in the chain of resistance.” Syria is part of Iran’s growing power in the region, which includes ties with Iraqi militias, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen. This gives Iran an arc of allies across the region. Syria is the jewel in the crown in many ways. Unlike in Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon, where Iran has proxies, in Syria, the regime is close to Iran. Therefore, Syria serves as a nexus for trafficking weapons to Hezbollah and as a free zone to traffic drugs.”
US rejects ICC’s Netanyahu warrant, Hamas celebrates as reactions pour in
From article:”The United States rejected a decision by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue arrest warrants on Thursday for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense chief, a White House National Security Council spokesperson said. “The United States fundamentally rejects the Court’s decision to issue arrest warrants for senior Israeli officials. We remain deeply concerned by the Prosecutor’s rush to seek arrest warrants and the troubling process errors that led to this decision,” the spokesperson said, adding the US is discussing next steps with its partners.”
Has Netanyahu developed a new doctrine to finally strike Iran’s nuke program for real? – analysis
From article:”Moreover, he said he would consider directly attacking Iran once Trump was in office, even though he contradicted Israeli military intelligence when he said that Iran is a long way away from figuring out how to deliver a nuclear weapon. This last statement finally also explains why Netanyahu has been mostly silent as Tehran continues day after day and month after month to enrich more quantities of uranium to 60% levels and to cut off more of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s UN nuclear inspectors from checking up on the nuclear program. Netanyahu simply does not feel threatened yet. He does not like Iran’s uranium progress or its more apparent concealing progress from the IAEA.”
Israel’s strategy in Lebanon is choking Hezbollah into submission
Pete Hegseth called on Muslims to Stop Denying Jewish Connection to Temple Mount
From article:”Hegseth told the rabbi, “Muslim leaders and groups deny the temple of the Bible? Why deny history? Worse, why destroy history (as has been happening on the Temple Mount in recent years)? Because if you deny (and destroy) Jewish claims to the Temple and the old city of Jerusalem, you can justify denying Jews further influence in the city. By denying the Temple, you deny the State of Israel. By denying the Temple, you rally the outside world to see Israel as an ‘occupying force.’”
Who attacked Israelis in Amsterdam? Some Dutch politicians can’t bring themselves to say
From article:”At that debate, the religious and ethnic backgrounds of the youths who attacked Israeli fans in the streets of the Dutch capital were mentioned only by a handful of center-right and right-leaning council members. There were frequent references, however, to genocide in Gaza and Islamophobia as causes for the unrest in the capital — though no Muslims were targeted in Amsterdam before, during, or after the attacks.
The emphasis on provocations, hate speech, and violence on the Israeli side is in stark contrast with initial reports by the mayor and local law enforcement. These clearly laid the blame on those who were labeled “youths on scooters” and “taxi drivers” who carried out “hit-and-run” attacks on individuals or small groups of Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters.”
UC Berkeley advertises Lit course which praises Hamas as a ‘revolutionary resistance force’
From article:”The course, titled “Leninism and Anarchism: A Theoretical Approach to Literature and Film,” states it will explore the genocide of the “indigenous Palestinians by the Israeli Occupying Forces.” The course seemingly praises the “anarchist” practices of Hamas and other groups, saying they help “envision a better tomorrow.”
Trump admin. plans to bankrupt Iran with ‘maximum pressure’ policies – report
From article:”US President-elect Donald Trump’s administration is preparing to reinstate its “maximum pressure” strategy against Iran, targeting Tehran’s economic stability and its ability to support militant proxies and nuclear development, The Financial Times reported on Saturday, citing sources close to the transition team. The sources revealed that the administration plans to impose stricter sanctions, particularly on Iran’s oil exports, which serve as a critical revenue source.”
Trump said to lift all military restrictions on Israel on first day in office according to reports
From article:”The assurance from Trump’s team came as Israel is considering a 60-day cease-fire with Hezbollah, which would provide a window until Trump takes office and implements the promised changes. Sources indicate that this commitment from Trump’s administration clarifies Israel’s willingness to temporarily halt military actions, with the understanding that support will resume without delay once Trump is in office.”
Israel Expands Strikes to Syria in War on Hezbollah; Israeli Leaders Nix Talk of Northern Ceasefire
From article:”In the north, the war against Hezbollah has expanded to Syria, where it manufactures weapons for Hezbollah. IDF Chief Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari declared, “We will attack any attempt to transfer weapons from Syria to Hezbollah and we will attack any infrastructure we identify in Syria that is intended to produce weapons for Hezbollah.” The IDF also attacked the military headquarters of Islamic Jihad in Damascus. It also released intelligence of the extensive military infrastructure Hezbollah built along Israel’s border. The infrastructure was designed to launch an even greater attack on northern Israeli towns than Hamas achieved in Gaza on October 7th, 2023.”
An Anti-Semitic ‘Tsunami’- Jew Hatred Explodes Across Europe
From article:”In Britain, the number of reported anti-Semitic incidents has more than doubled, and in a nation that has been a safe haven for Jews, some have raised the specter of 1930s Germany. Comparisons to Nazi Germany are overused, but there are some disturbing parallels for British Jews. Because of threats, some Jewish organizations now have secret addresses. Virtually all need security. Gideon Falter, Chief Executive of Britain’s Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, told us, “We are seeing the radicalization of society. We are seeing young people who believe that they are doing a righteous thing by discriminating. We see graffiti. We’re hearing from Holocaust survivors who say, you got to be really careful about this stuff.” British Journalist David Collier, a Jew, is very pessimistic about this issue. He does not believe the situation for Britain’s Jewish citizens will get better because of how the influx of Muslim immigrants has changed perceptions of Israel and Jews. Collier described today’s Britain as “completely different.” He explained, “It’s a different country with a different demographic, a different outlook. Everything about it is different.”
The Intifada Was Globalized in Amsterdam
From article:”The U.S. has a stake in stopping this violence: the call to “globalize the intifada” is not limited to Europe. Those who advocate globalization are inciting violence against Americans of Jewish heritage. The incitement may be too general to be denied First Amendment protection against criminal punishment, but the single standard demands that universities apply the same standard to calls for intifada than they would to calls for lynching of blacks or assaulting of gays. The real difference is that no university student or faculty member would ever call for the latter, and if they did, they would be disciplined or expelled. Yet today it is entirely acceptable, indeed expected, that radical students will call for the lynching and assaulting of Jews and Israelis. That, after all, is what an intifada entails.”
Pentagon ‘Shocked’ By Houthi Arsenal, Sophistication Is ‘Getting Scary’
From article:”We harbor no illusions about Israel’s intentions in Lebanon or the region. We believe it must withdraw from every inch of our country and cease to violate our airspace. But we are convinced that we will not achieve this by force, and certainly not through Hezbollah. Accepting this reality is essential if we are ever to escape this grim escalation, which leads only to suffering for both those who endure it and those who support it. This is our only path to avoid division and perhaps even civil war. To rebuild Lebanon not against Hezbollah, perhaps not even without Hezbollah, but necessarily with a different Hezbollah.”
From article:”Riots broke out in Amsterdam on Monday evening as hordes of young men dressed in black set fires, threw rocks, and shot off makeshift missile fireworks, just days after a “Jew hunt” in the city following an Israeli soccer match. Chaos continued in the Dutch capital on Monday as riots erupted in the borough of Nieuw-West. Videos on social media showed young men waving Palestine flags and others shouting, “Cancer Jews!” Broadcaster Nederlandse Omroep Stichting reported that the youth rioters pelted cars and a bus with rocks and heavy fireworks. They also set fire to a tram in the area. During the violent outburst, chants of “Free Palestine” could be heard.”
Emerging agreement: Hezbollah to retreat, Lebanese Army to dismantle terrorist infrastructure
From article:”Hezbollah will withdraw its forces north of the Litani River and will not renew its military presence in the area between the Litani and the border with Israel. The IDF will pull back from Hezbollah’s current first line of positions in Lebanon, returning to the international border. The Lebanese army will dismantle Hezbollah’s remaining infrastructure in the area between the border and the Litani within 60 days of signing the agreement. The agreement will include international guarantees from the US and Russia to prevent Hezbollah from rearming in Lebanon. As part of this framework, Syria will be responsible for stopping any weapons transfers from its territory to Lebanon… In any instance of a violation of the agreement… the IDF will have the right to act in response…”
Iran wants war with the United States This is a very good article.
From article:”The Trump years were very different. As President, Trump had trashed Barack Obama’s irrational nuclear deal and piled on economic sanctions. He went on to order the elimination of Qasem Soleimani, chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force, the organisation responsible for terrorism across the Middle East and around the world. Trump’s return to the White House therefore represented a clear and present threat to the continuation of the regime in Tehran.
The Supreme Leader couldn’t tolerate the return of his nemesis to the White House, and that is why the regime ordered Trump’s assassination in September. On Friday, the Department of Justice revealed charges against an Afghan immigrant to the US, Farhad Shakeri, who was allegedly tasked by the IRGC to murder the then US presidential candidate. There is no question that Khamanei and the IRGC meant business. The regime has successfully carried out multiple political assassinations since it came to power in 1979, and has attempted to murder many others.”
Hezbollah Targeted Israel’s Trump Heights The Day After Election
University educator wants youth to ‘unlearn Zionism’
From article:”It is now common among so-called progressives, including academics, to condemn Israel for racism, apartheid, occupation, genocide and settler colonialism. These accusations form a political anti-Zionism ideology that concludes that Israel is illegitimate and ought to be eliminated.”
Anti-Israel actions taken by the Biden administration in the wake of the Oct. 7 massacre This is an excellent article and make sure you read it!
From article:”Here is a list, in no particular order, of some of concrete ways the Biden-Harris administration has undermined Israel and encouraged the Iranian axis, even in the months after Oct. 7, 2023—and how the Trump administration can swiftly rectify them.”
‘Pogrom’ in Amsterdam: five in hospital, 62 arrested, police say
In One Day, Two of the Biggest Brakes on Israel’s Netanyahu Disappeared
From article:”Gallant, reflecting the view of Israel’s military, had been pushing publicly for the prime minister to accept a cease-fire in exchange for a hostage release deal, bring in Palestinian leadership that could replace Hamas in Gaza and begin discussions over a cease-fire in Lebanon. Netanyahu, who calls for “total victory” in the war, has said that Israel can’t stop fighting in Gaza until Hamas is destroyed. He has rejected pressure domestically and from the U.S. to accept a cease-fire deal that would bring the war to an end.”
Iranian militias in Iraq could take center stage against Israel
Iran Vows on Election Eve to Attack Israel ‘with All Our Might
From article:”Baghaei, the Foreign Ministry spokesman, addressed the possibility of another Iranian attack against Israel on Monday, asserting that his regime “will definitely respond” to the IDF airstrikes, according to the Iranian state propaganda outlet PressTV. “Supporting national sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries is a principle for us and we have proven this in practice,” he was quoted as saying. “We will use all our material and spiritual resources to respond to the aggressions of the Zionist regime (Israel) and will use all our resources with all our might in this regard.”
Iran Tells Region ‘Strong and Complex’ Attack Coming on Israel Iran doesn’t appear to be living in reality. If Iran attacks Israel, the retaliation might be so fierce, it might stop functioning as a nation!
From article:”Iran has told Arab diplomats that its conventional army would be involved because it had lost four soldiers and a civilian in Israel’s attack, the Iranian and Arab officials said. Involving its regular army doesn’t mean its troops would be deployed but that the paramilitary Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that normally deals with Israeli security matters wouldn’t act alone in this case.”
From article:”Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has promised a “teeth-breaking” response to Israel and the United States after Israel targeted Iranian military sites in retaliatory strikes late last month. “The enemies, both the US and the Zionist regime (Israel), should know that they will definitely receive a teeth-breaking response for what they are doing against Iran and the resistance front,” said Khamenei, referring to Iran-allied militant groups including Hamas and Hezbollah.”
‘End of the War’ in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran? Not Quite Yet
From article:””After Iran’s Oct. 1 missile attack, Mr. Biden told Israel not to attack Iran’s nuclear program. Mr. Trump replied, ‘Isn’t that what you’re supposed to hit? It’s the biggest risk we have, nuclear weapons.’ He reportedly told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ‘Do what you have to do’… [Trump] tells Israel to do what it needs to do to end the war quickly in victory. Ms. Harris piles on restrictions and insists a cease-fire lead to a two-state solution disconnected from reality.”
‘Orders to come from Iran’: Iraqi militias pose growing risk to Israel
From article:”“The pro-Iranian militias,” Zeidel said, “are not numerous; essentially, only two militias are actively involved. They have created a kind of deep state within Iraq, resistant to interference and ignoring the government, security forces, and any authority they can defy. This plunges Iraq into cycles of violence and the risk of war. They act as they do because they consider their orders to come from Iran.” “They disregard Iraq’s prime minister, the Iraqi army commander, or the defense minister,” he continued. “For them, only [Iranian Supreme Leader] Ali Khamenei and [IRGC Commander] Hossein Salami issue the orders.”
‘Discourse of destruction’: Iran expert says Iranian retaliation guaranteed
From article:”“The level of the threats Israel has been receiving in recent days is rising,” he explained. “Initially, it started with low-level parliament members, but now it has reached the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps generals. The level of threats is rising very fast. In Iran, they are saying they will prepare a response that Israel can’t withstand, that Israel will be defeated. The discourse of destruction is returning, and they are speaking as if the state is on the brink of collapse.”
‘Built to accommodate 1,000 terrorists’: Uncovering and destroying a Hezbollah tunnel system
From article:”Their innovative tactics, reminiscent of operations in Gaza, led to a breakthrough. Military sources involved in the operational details said trust between the Shin Bet coordinators and the Paratroopers and Yahalom commanders—built over previous joint underground operations—facilitated seamless collaboration on the ground. After four grueling days of combat, all shafts were identified, and the tunnel system was exposed. “Without the Shin Bet, we would never have found the entrances. This success is thanks to intelligence working hand in hand with combat forces,” sources told Walla.”
Iran warns US, Israel of ‘crushing response’ as Pentagon ups forces in ME
From article:””Enemies, including America and the Zionist regime, should know that they will undoubtedly receive a crushing response for what they do against Iran and the resistance front,” Khamenei said.”
US to Iran: Avoid strikes or face unrestrained Israeli retaliation
From article:”Recent Israeli intelligence assessments indicate that Iran is preparing to launch an attack on Israel from Iraqi territory, potentially within days and possibly before the US presidential election. Officials in Israel stated that this potential assault could involve Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps collaborating with Shiite militias using drones and ballistic missiles. American sources confirmed the likelihood of such an attack in the short term.
‘Fully coordinated with Iran’: Iraqi militias seek to ally with Islamic Republic on Israel response
From article:”He added that “the Islamic Resistance has not ceased its operations targeting critical sites within the entity [Israel].” He predicted that in the next round of blows, “the resistance will use more advanced missiles, in line with the anticipated escalation.” Another unnamed political official told Al-Ahkbar that “Iran possesses the capability to retaliate against Israel from anywhere, and it is by no means incapable.”
Gen. Keane: The damage to Iran is beyond what’s being reported (Video)
Israel passes landmark law ending UNRWA activities
From article:”The legislation, passed in its final reading on Monday, was spearheaded by MK Boaz Bismuth, who emphasized that “UNRWA is not a refugee aid agency; it is a Hamas aid agency.” Bismuth cited the involvement of UNRWA employees in the October 7 attacks, referencing “chilling images” of Jonathan Smarno, who was held hostage by an individual identified as a “social worker” for the agency. This decisive action reflects Israel’s determination to sever ties with an organization accused of enabling terrorism, despite facing international pressure to reconsider the bill.”
From article:”Iran threatens revenge after Israel strike devastates Iran’s ballistic missile production, possibly for years, and destroys air defenses in Iran as well as in Iraq and Syria; former US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman tells CBN News the strike sends a powerful message to Iran that it can hit Iran’s nuclear program, and Dan Diker of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs says Israel’s attacks show Israel is emerging as the strong horse in the Middle East; Chris Mitchell talks about how Israel’s strike makes it harder for Iran to attack Israel again, and makes Iran more vulnerable to future Israeli strikes, how Iran’s oil and nuclear facilities are vulnerable to attack, how Iran could try to strike back at Israel, and the future for Israeli peace deals and trade agreements in the Middle East; how Iranians, including exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, oppose the current Islamic regime, and hope Israel military action will bring down their government“
From video:”As the Middle East descends into chaos at the hands of the apocalyptic regime in Tehran, will Israel soon carry out another direct strike against Iran? Meanwhile, the Iranian military is brazenly threatening the Jewish State over its latest strike, by saying Israel will face, “bitter and unimaginable consequences.” Is a full-scale war between Iran and Israel now inevitable?”
Israel’s strikes in Iran set the stage for future attacks and a change in US policy
From article:”In the first hours immediately after the attack, the official line was that Iran managed to repel the Israeli attack and that the damage, if any, was minor. The Tasnim news agency, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, hastened to announce that only 20 Israeli jets were involved in the attack and that they were prevented from entering Iranian airspace by the regime’s anti-aircraft forces.
But then later on Saturday, the Iranians began to understand the intensity and depth of the damage. General Ismail Kosri, a senior member of the Revolutionary Guards and a member of Iran’s Supreme Security Council, said, “Israel must pay for the intrusion into Iranian skies and the Israelis must get used to the reality of living in shelters.” The assessment coming out of Iran is now starting to match that of the US and Israel, who believe that the strike did significant damage to Iran’s air-defense systems and missile program.
The decision on whether to respond currently rests with the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and while he spoke somewhat ambiguously on Sunday, so far other senior Iranian officials have stayed silent — either out of embarrassment or out of fear of making promises they cannot keep. One thing seems clear: Iran suffered a bigger blow than it expected.”
Though limited, Israel’s highly successful attack leaves Iran more vulnerable than ever
From article:”Now Iran — and its gas and nuclear facilities — are more vulnerable than ever. The regime’s most advanced anti-aircraft systems were destroyed, and replacing them — if their provider, Russia, is even willing or able to do so — will not happen immediately. Its air defenses, which were ineffective on Saturday, are now even less capable with batteries and radars destroyed. On top of the disabling of its air defenses — systems in which Iran has poured significant investment — the Islamic Republic has also lost its chief deterrent against Israel. After weeks of devastating strikes against its leaders and Israeli ground troops operating in force in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah is able to fire a couple of hundred rockets at Israel a day, but that’s it. It has lost the ability to do anything to alter Israel’s decision-making about strikes on Iran. Longtime Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed, and Israeli jets struck Iran directly,”
Satellite images show damage from Israeli attack at 2 secretive Iranian military bases
From article:”Some of the buildings damaged sat in Iran’s Parchin military base, where the International Atomic Energy Agency suspects Iran in the past conducted tests of high explosives that could trigger a nuclear weapon. Iran long has insisted its nuclear program is peaceful, though the IAEA, Western intelligence agencies and others say Tehran had an active weapons program up until 2003. The other damage could be seen at the nearby Khojir military base, which analysts believe hides an underground tunnel system and missile production sites.”
‘Backbone of Iran’s missile industry’ destroyed by IAF strikes on Islamic Republic
From article:”The Arabic independent online newspaper Elaph reported Israel targeted a secret ballistic missile factory in Iran, destroying a large number of heavy fuel mixers used to power Kheibar and Haj Qasem missiles – both of which were fired by Iran at Israel at the beginning of the month. The report also claimed that the S-300 air defense batteries that were attacked were Russian-made and destroyed radars that feed these systems and others in Syria and Iraq.
The report said that the ballistic missile factory was completely destroyed. One source told Elaph that it was the “backbone of Iran’s missile industry” and that Israel had “put it out of service,” also reporting that each heavy fuel mixer destroyed was estimated to be at least two million dollars and about twenty mixers of this type were destroyed.
While Walla reported that production to restore such equipment would reportedly take at least one year, informed sources on the Iranian missile industry told Elaph that it would take at least two years to return the destroyed factory to service.
Iranian and Israeli officials confirmed to the New York Times that Israel had targeted the defenses at the Bandar Imam Khomeini petrochemical complex, in Khuzestan Province; at the major economic port Bandar Imam Khomeini, adjacent to it; and at the Abadan oil refinery. “Israel is sending a clear message to us,” Hamid Hosseini, an expert on Iran’s oil and gas industry and a member of the Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce, told the Times. “This can have very serious economic consequences for Iran, and now that we understand the stakes we need to act wise and not continue the tensions.”
