Commentary
This is great news, showing once again, China is aware of the powerful real Christian influence on President Trump, and they don’t like it. This is really amazing that the real Christians in America have both the Hard Left American Communists and Chinese Communists furious at us! This goes to show you the power God has placed within the American church! Because of the Lord, in the long run the church always wins.

“Evangelical leaders have voiced support for Mike Pompeo after a nationalist tabloid controlled by the Chinese Communist Party accused the secretary of state of “betraying Christianity with lies” due to his suggestion that COVID-19 originated in a Chinese laboratory.
Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, commented on the hypocrisy of China’s attempt to pass judgment on Pompeo’s religious beliefs given its own restrictions on religious groups. “What audacity for a regime that persecuted Christians so viciously to try and use the Bible to cover for their own lies,” Rodriguez said in a statement to CP.
“There is no bigotry like communist bigotry. China thinks that they can shutter churches, disappear pastors, and create an ever-present state of war with religion and then dole out advice to Christians. Well, here’s some advice to the Communists: get your own house in order. This propaganda only demonstrates one thing: whatever Pompeo is doing is working, exactly as intended.”

“The churches are not asking for permission,” said Bob Tyler, a religious freedom attorney advising the pastors. “The governor is sitting here as a dictator, trumping the Constitution and is kind of hanging on to this state of emergency for as long as he can hold it.”
Tyler says the pastors, including Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills, Matt Brown of Sandals Church in Riverside, and Danny Carroll of Water of Life Community Church in Fontana, have signed a petition and plan to advise Gov. Gavin Newsom of their plans which include social distancing.”

“A 95-year-old pastor is changing lives as he has inspired more than 180,000 people to pray for revival across the U.S. on Tuesday, May 5. Rev. Fred Lunsford, a World War II veteran who helped storm the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, is leading the charge in this unexpected spiritual awakening.
Lunsford reportedly told the Lord two years ago that he was ready to go home, reports Fox News. But instead, he heard God say: “Not yet, because I’ve got some unfinished business that I need you to take care of. Celebrate 70 years in the ministry and get everybody you can to be praying for spiritual awakening. I want to send renewal. I want to send a new work among you.”
Since that time, Lunsford has spent hours praying for revival on his property, which he calls “Light House Mountain,” in his hometown of Marble, North Carolina. The Baptist Press reports that those hours of prayer turned into an event in which thousands have pledged to pray with Lunsford on May 5.”
