Commentary
After reading this, you can see real believers are melting away. Every one of these surveys always show the bottom falling out of the American “church”. What is the church? It appears what we call the church is now becoming like the “Moose or Lions club?” This is a direct reflection on the pulpit and the power of the preachers. The vast majority preach from the modern translations which have greatly alerted the Bible which renders them powerless.
America really does need an outpouring of the Holy Spirit for a revival for survival. There is not much time left.

As part of the ongoing release of the Arizona Christian University-based Cultural Research Center’s American Worldview Inventory, the latest findings — exploring perceptions of sin and salvation — from George Barna, the group’s director, show that nearly two-thirds of Americans believe that having some kind of faith is more important than the particular faith with which someone aligns.
Sixty-eight percent who embrace that notion identify as Christians, including 56% of self-described evangelicals and 62% of those who identify as Pentecostals. Sixty-seven percent of mainline Protestants and 77% of Catholics also embraced that idea, the findings show.”

While thinking about these things, the White House released a photograph—a photograph that gave me… hope. The photograph shows a group of black religious and political leaders, surrounding President Trump and praying for him—praying for the nation. To say that this image inspired me would be an understatement. Here stood a group of men and women—Americans—praying for God to help President Trump!
It was a photograph of faith and hope for the future. And as I thought about that hope, I couldn’t help but think about our HISTORY—our legacy of hope. I love the church..I really do.I guess I have ‘the gift’ like some of the minor prophets of giving them ‘dark clouds’ alot of the time.I would like to shower rainbows,lollipops and two headed unicorns on us all..but thats the worlds job.I’m really not a prophet..just have the gift of grief for some.The real Church see’s it as God using a fellow believer to sharpen His tools..the fake or cultural christian just see’s me as a pain in their donkey…Hey,I’m o.k.with that.[smile]…no slight on the democrat party with the donkey thing.
